Give a definition of what it means to you: To me Roleplaying means using your imagination to create a magical, whimsical world where almost anything is possible as long as you follow some set guidelines. Roleplaying allows the players to have an amazing time an an impossible world. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have played runescape for four years as well as the popular role playing series of Star wars Knights of the Old Republic for five years. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: To me Meta-Gaming is using knowledge gleaned from out of game actions to affect in game actions. For example, in World War Two the Russian army knew that the strategy of the Nazi army would be to march into Russia, with this knowledge gained from observation the Russians where able to formulate a plan and lure the Germans into Russia to freeze in the brutal Russian winter. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-Emoting is forcing the consequences of a players actions onto another player. For example if you are in a wrestling match and your opponent runs a perfect move that you are powerless to stop, you have but no choice to accept the loss, thus you where forced to lose by the players action of running the perfect move. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be an amazing realm of adventure and fun. This is one of the greatest Roleplaying servers of this caliber and i cant wait to start playing! (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Dwarf What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Mountain Dwarf Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Torgren was born many moons ago to an honored warrior father and a beautiful mother. Torgren enlisted in the army under Lord Marshall Phog. Torgren immediately established himself as a military prodigy, very reminiscent of his father. Torgren was quickly advancing through the military ranks, he was on his way to the top until a crippling leg injury forced his promising military career to grind to a halt. Torgren is now a good hearted old dwarf who spends his time passing his knowledge on to the young-lings as well as studying the lore of Asulon. He was once a strapping Dwarf, however in his old age Torgren's muscle has given way to a layer of fat. As Torgren ages he feels bitter about the injury that stole a very fruitful career out of his hands. Torgren is still a master of battlefield strategy and tries to help out when he can. Even in his old age Torgren still retains something of his old skill with an axe. Torgren resides to this day in the grand kingdom of Kal'Urguan. What are your Character's ambitions?: Torgren's ambitions are even in his old age,return to command the dwarven legions. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His favorite tool is an Axe. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Torgren's most skilled talent is his grasp of military strategy being able to out think and out maneuver the enemy forces when in command of a group of soldiers. Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Torgren strolls over and says in a booming voice, "Let That Man Go!" Seeing the two men have no intention of complying, Torgren says in a louder voice to attract attention from the guards, "Ye don't know what yer getting in to" The two men advance menacingly on him Torgren nervously looks around for help realizing he is hopelessly out matched by the two men. The men close in on Torgren and begin to lay into him with punches and kicks. As his vision begins to fade he sees three guards come and save the hafling and escort him to safety Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Torgren answers the man jovially and begins to barter for goods. The man has an item Torgren really needs but he will not budge on the price. Torgren is very disappointed and refuses to buy anything else of the man's. As he walks away he thinks to himself, "if i still had my military prestige they would be giving me those items." Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Torgren sees the chest and with a frown decides that it would be best to try and find the owner.After a search yields no result he takes the items reasoning that the hut was abandoned and he was a poor old man in need of money. Torgren quickly departs so as to not draw the odd travellers attention. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Torgren responds nicely and has a conversation with the traders. Torgren buys food and board with the few Minas he has left in his mole skin pouch. Being a dwarf Torgren eats and drinks late into the night with the kind traders. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Torgren immediately asks the guards to lead a detachment of troops. He explains his military background and the guards reluctantly comply. Torgren begins to issue commands from the top tower and the men begin to comply more willingly realizing what a military genius Torgren truly was. After the bloodshed was completed the guards asked him if he would take a spot in their military but Torgren denied saying "i have but that life behind me, i am far too old to be fighting in wars,"The next day Torgren moved on... Anything else you would like to say?: I cant wait for Torgren to join this amazing world of adventure and magic!

Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying means using ones imagination to create an atmosphere of fantasy or sci fi or anything magical/ unrealistic. Roleplaying is used to live a life that is not your own. It is used to have a second life in essence. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I played Rune Scape for four years in the past and I Roleplayed a lot in game. I have also been playing Roleplaying games like Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic two for six years. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta Gaming is the act of using out of game knowledge to affect a players in game decisions. Example; player a has been watching player b play chess, player a notices player b has used the same strategy to try and win the games he is playing, thus when player a sits down toplay player b plyer a uses a strategy that will thwart player b's obvious strategy. Player a used the knowledge he gained out of the game to easily defeat player b. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Mikal was born to a wealthy family. his father was a very influential preacher and his mother disappeared when he was of a very young age. Mikal's father was stricken with the great plauge five years ago and every day Mikal at beside his fathers bed and prayed. After three months of prayer for his ailing father the sickness finally took Mikals father. Upon his fathers death Mikal lost all faith in his God. Now five years later the 17 year old Mikal wanders the land looking for a cure for the disease that took his fathers life and, sadly infected Mikal. Mikals appearance is one of a diseased man. Due to his disease and great sadness Mikal is a gruff man not afraid to fight. The disease is slowly taking control of his mind and all too often Mikal enters a crazed state where he has no control over himself and his dark side takes over. What are your Character's ambitions?: Mikal's ambitions are to cure himself and become an honored warrior What is your character’s favorite tool? Mikal's greatest talent is his ability to find his way out of a tough situation. Whether it be through smooth talking or skill with his weapons, Mikal will solve the problem. Mikal calmly strolls toward the two warriors. Upon entering earshot of the two men Mikal says gruffly "thats a bad idea boys," The men spin and draw there swords, seeing that the men want no part in trying to compromise Mikal's mind enters into a flurry of thoughts, he begins noticing weakness in the two men. Mikal makes one final attempt at compromise before the larger man delivers a crushing blow to Mikal with his fist. As Mikal picks himself up a small grin flashes across his face and he lets the dark one take over... Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. Mikal looks the man over noting the mans nervous eyes and jittery movements. With a questioning expression Mikal asks "Do you know anything about the disease that has stricken me?". The man refuses to speak unless he is payed a sum of ten minas. The man reluctantly tells Mikal the obvious information that Mikal has already learned. All the while the man is looking to his left nervously. Mikal bids the man farewell as Mikal walks a way a large group of armed men, too large for Mikal to stop alone, spring from the trees and mug the man as Mikal runs into the safety of the city. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. After waiting and searching the surrounding area Mikal returns to the cabin and stares at the chest. As he sits an internal battle begins to rage inside him. "Take it, no one will know," "I can't, it's wrong!" "But you can and you will," Mikal than slowly stands up snatches the loot and runs. When he gets a safe distance from the cabin he realizes what the dark side has taken over again. Mikal responds in a friendly manor and asks for a place to stay for the night. The traders are friendly and allow Mikal to stay and trade for food. The next morning Mikal suppresses his dark urges to slay the men and take their goods. Mikal runs away before the men can awaken. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Mikal quickly dons his armour and grabs a nearby Axe. Mikal runs to the guard tower and says "I would like to assist ye guard!" Mikal leads a small detachment of warriors into battle. Mikal's men are completely surrounded by the blood thirsty bandits. Mikal enters a flurry of slashes and parries as he tries to save his men. Mikal manages to protect most of his losing only two of the lesser suited peasants. As Mikal returns to town someone points out that he has a large gash on his forearm. In the heat of battle Mikal didn't even notice the gping wound.
