What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you : Roleplaying is the art of putting yourself in another person's shoes, but that you have created that person yourself, adding some, not quite all, of your aspects into the mix.
What experience have you had roleplaying, if any? : I don't have much experience actually roleplaying, but I have played RPGs such as Runescape and Dragon Quest.
Define what the act of Meta-Gaming is : Meta-Gaming is the act a of using OOC information while still IC. Like using the Mori'Quessir's native tongue when you didn't have a Mori teaching you at all.
Define what the act of Power-Gaming is : Power-gaming is the act of doing things that your character could not possibly do. Like lifting a castle, running 200 miles and throwing it over the tallest mountain in the known world.
What do you expect this server will be like? : I expect the server will be a great experience for me, teaching me about roleplaying and how a person would react in certain situations.
What other servers have you played on, and why did you leave them? : I mostly played on faction servers, but they get really boring if people are in different time zones then each other.

How did you hear about us? : PetriDaGamerNerd (Petri_The_Ancient_Orc) is doing a video series on you guys, so I decided to check your server out.

Character Name : Arget Brisingr
What race are you? : Human, through and through.
What sub-race are you? : Northerner.
Biography : Arget was born a Northerner to his halfling parents, as both his mother and his father had a bit of Northerner blood. He helped the people in his village, even though they were half his size. He wasn't interested in farming, caring for farm animals or even killing and skinning the animals that were ready for slaughter. Arget was only interested in one thing : smithing. One day, when the entire village was going to the Festival of Ale in Arethor, he slipped down a side street and bought a furnace and some coal for 20 minas. As he was only thirteen, he wasn't allowed drink any ale or wine, but when no-one was looking his father slipped him a few pints under the table. For exactly ten years after Arget bought the furnace, he smelted new tools in his furnace for his village. On the 25th of Malin's Welcome, his parent's told him that he should go and seek out a master smith to teach him his craft. They told him to go to the Cloud Temple Sanctuary and then head to the Holy Oren Empire. As he left, a tear welled in his eye as he remembered all the good times he had in his village. He drank from a hip flask full of whisky to give him courage for the long journey.
Arget has brown hair, pale skin and likes to wear battered knight's armour. He has eyes as black as night, and has the strong Northerner build. He has a quiet personality, but cannot stand injustice to anyone. He helps anyone in peril, but will only scare attackers away with his strength. If he needs to attack someone, he will just throw stones at them. Arget isn't a violent person at all, preferring to make the weapons and armour for war.
What are your character's ambitions? : Arget's ambition is to become a master smith.
What is your character's favourite tool? (example sword, pick, shovel etc.) : His favourite tool is the axe, as it is good for two things : killing and chopping down trees.
What is one of your character's most skilled talents? : He can bake and cook very well, but he isn't a master chef or anything.

Other information about your character : He likes cake. And cookies. Your argument is invalid. And he drinks a shot or two of alcohol before doing something brave.
Open response Questions
Whilst travelling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal mine from him, how does your character respond? : Arget took a small shot of ale from his hip flask before throwing a large stone, the size of his fist at the larger of the two warriors. The stone hit the warrior's chestplate, and he turned around to see who had threw it. " Who are you- " he began to ask, but Arget roared " LEAVE MY FATHER ALONE OR I'LL DRINK ALE FROM YOUR SKULLS! " The bandits ran away, as Arget helped his father up.
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He's offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says " 'ello there, what can I do for you today? " What is your character response? : The sun was beating down on Arget's head as he swatted at the fly that had been annoying him for the past two minutes. As the merchant greeted him, Arget asked the merchant " Do you 'ave any ores for sale, my good man." "Yes sir, I have 26 iron ore pieces and 5 gold ore pieces." "Great, I'll take the lot." " That'll be 57 minas." "Here you go." "Thank you for your time," said the merchant as Arget walked away, finally swatting the fly as it landed on his nose.
Your character comes across a small hut in the wilderness, which looks abandoned. Inside you can see a chest containing a few iron bars and a golden sword. How does your character respond? : Arget yelled " Hello?", and an eerie echo spread around him. Satisfied that no-one lived in or near the hut, he opened the door, grateful to have a place to sleep that night. He baked a small cake, ate it and drank a few mouthfuls of ale before falling into the bed and sleeping within seconds.
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, your character stumbles upon a trading camp nestled in the forest. They greet you in the common tongue, who does your character respond? : Arget stumbled into the camp, and asked for a piece of food, a glass of ale and directions to the nearest town or village. The leader gave him half a cake and a glass of ale, and said " The nearest town is Arethor, and it'll take you about a day to reach it. You could travel with us if you wish." Arget replied " If you have space, I'll travel with you." " Oh, don't worry about space. We have plenty!" "Thank you, kind sir." Arget replied happily.
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How do your character act on this information? : Arget shuddered as the guard asked him for support. "Sir, we are looking for assistance to help eliminate the bandits who occupy the road outside our fair city of Arethor. Will you assist us in our attack?" Arget decided not to help the guard and leave Arethor, as he had done all his business in the city." I'm sorry, but I'm goin' back to the Cloud Temple today, and I'm usin' a side road anyway." As Arget pushed past the guard a smile appeared on his face as he thought of the guard's stunned face. Sniggering, he walked towards a side gate, as the guard still stood there.
Anything else you would like to say? : PLEASE accept me, as I think I might lose my sanity if I don't get accepted this time. (I am completely exaggerating. as you can tell.)
