  1. "Mother of Dragons" skin:
For the first image, I'd maybe make the blue slightly darker and as you go down the skin the shading would darken, or you can do the shading all mixed.

    56a5krs.png

This is a dress I made for my character. By mixed shading I mean you can do the shading like this. This way also looks nice and works rather well.

    White Nightgown Skin:
The white on the one skin is way too bright. When shading white try to dull it down slightly. The white hair kind of mixes in with the dress. So it is hard to tell them apart. I'd suggest when shading the dress that you'd use a duller white. Never use the brightest white, it doesn't look that nice in my opinion.

    Purple Mages Skin:
For the purple mages skin I would put shading into the yellow, if you were trying to go for gold then I'd suggest going for a light colour.

    Dothraki Skin:
For the last skin I would shade that kind of yellowish belt you have there. The tank top could be a bit lower at the right side. In the picture it looks a bit damaged so you should try capture that as best you can.

    Overall:
Your skins, so far are good since you're only new to skinning ^-^ If you find it hard to use that editor there are always others such as minershoes.com, novaskin or skindex. I think the best skin there is your last one and the one that needs the most work on is the white nightgown skin. It should be shaded more and try to make the hair colour and clothes a bit different to each other so it doesn't blend in with eachother. Good luck on skinning! If you ever need help with skinning feel free to send me a pm.

P.S Also, whenever shading a skin make sure to shade the hair as well!

  2. Lytheria ears perk up as she hears the sound of music being played in the main room. She begins to follow the music, before taking a seat at the bar. She sways softly in her chair, her eyes closing. She inhales deeply, as she begins to imagine the notes moving along in her mind in a rhythmic fashion. She smiles,

    "Beautiful."

  3. Caroline runs around the forest in Anthos. Somewhere deep inside of her, her heart breaks. Her mind might be ravaged but deep within her she can feel the utter terror she had put Prishe through. Deep within her mind, she stands still, filled with deep sorrow and guilt.

    "I'm so sorry, Prishe."

((Very emotional and heartbreaking piece. Almost brought me to tears.))

  4. Nightmares Become Reality

    Part Four.

“I talk to you every day. You think I’m a different person, well cat. My name is Domino, I know. But how can I be a different person if no one sees me? I’m a cat, you wear me as a hat. But if no one can see me then we become one. You are me, sweetie.” She shook her head, narrowing her eyes at Domino. “N-No.. I’m not. Domino is an awful person.” Domino purred, four more faces showing up.

“See for yourself.” They hissed, their raspy voices connecting with each other.

She doubled over in excruciating pain as the world flashed around her in blinding light. Voices in her head screeched loudly. She looked up, seeing Rowen, he looked like he was ten years old. Rowen’s eyes widened, his face was unbelievably pale. Rowen looked down at his stomach, a large circle of blood forming through the middle of his shirt. Tears trickled down his dirty face as he looked at his mother.

She gritted her teeth as she looked at Rowen, she looked down at her right hand seeing a rather blunt dagger in her grip. Fresh blood stained the dagger. Her eyes widened in terror. She looked at her son and screamed. She threw the dagger and bent down to pick her son up. Rowen lost consciousness quickly as the blood left his body. He shivered before letting out a small, frail sentence “M-mother..W-why?..”

His voice faded as he went limp. She held her child tightly. She cried out in frustration, shaking her head frantically. “I killed my own child! I killed my own baby! My own blood!” “No...n-noo, n-no!”

She gritted her teeth, her head sunk. She looked up in the sky. A voice hissed into her ear.

“You killed your child.” The voice hissed raspily into her ear.

    “N-no.. I would never.. I-I would never h-hurt him..”

The voice laughed menacingly in her ear.

    “You already did.”

She held her head in between her knees, her tears splattering the ground.

    “M-my baby boy...”

Rowen looked up at her with a lifeless stare. His eyes were still wide and filled with terror but he was definitely dead. She bent down to kiss his forehead…

She woke up with a startled expression, her vision was blurry at first before it quickly faded. Sweat covered her. She tried to move but she couldn’t. She was paralyzed. She could hear herself breathing. A feeling overcame her, she felt like there was an unknown presence in the room, that someone was watching her.

Strange sounds could be heard from all around the room. Creaking from wooden planks… She could see a lantern in the distance, the candlelight was small and slowly fading. She could hear manifestations from all around the room. A lullaby began to play, it was the lullaby her mother used to sing to her when she was a child.

    ((Play this while reading))

A shadow of a woman began to walk up to her. The woman’s shadow was beautiful, she knew this shadow.. She let out a moan as she tried to move her arms but she couldn’t. She tried to move her lips, the shadow getting closer… Only one faint word escaped her lips… “M-Mother?”

The lady came into sight, she smiled down at her, beginning to sing the lullaby. The tune was peaceful and beautiful. She was holding a lovely doll that she used to play with when she was a child. The doll was of a girl with blonde hair. Her mother made it for her and she loved it ever since, though she lost it when she was kidnapped from home. Her mother looked down at her child before whispering gently, “You broke your promise.”

She tried to shake her head, but she couldn’t. Her mother’s form began to change… Lumps began to grow on her face, arms and legs. Her dress turned to rags, her eyes twisted in her head, the pupils widening until her eyes were completely black. Her skin went dead pale and her hair twisted and curled until it looked like black vines. Teeth grew in her mother and mould began to cover some of her body and nails. She held up the doll, the doll repeated a saying that her owner normally repeated to her. “I want to play..” “I want to play…” “I want to.. plaaaaeee…” The dolls voice began to deepen and break. The doll convulsed, into something ugly..

The mother jumped on top of her before grabbing her shoulders and digging her fingernails into them. Her shoulders began to grow mould, black vines latched onto her skull and it pulled her down. The doll walked on top of her a claw coming out from it’s hand. The mother began to howl in excruciating pain “WHYYYYYYYY!”

    hbWWFLC.jpg

Her eyes twisted around in her own head now, her pupils widening and soon covering her own eyes in a sickly blackened colour. She could still see her mother and the doll very clearly. Her mouth tightened, before ripping open.

    “AHHHHHHHHHHHH”

  5. The Nightmare Continues.

    Part Three.

Talon glanced to Elaine before galloping back into the Pine Forest and out of sight. Elaine began to wail again, she looked down at her. Elaine had gone very pale. She rocked Elaine from side to side but she just kept wailing, her cries becoming louder and more painful. Suddenly everything around her began to change colour. The clear sky was now covered in black clouds. She looked down at the ground, the snow had melted revealing dead grass. Everything was withering.

    FrUNCny.png

She watched as the trees lost their leaves that had already turned brown, once the leaves hit the ground they crumbled into tiny pieces and vanished from view. The bark on the trees became dry and grey and the trees slowly bent over, as if they had given up on life and accepted their fate.

Elaine cried out in excruciating pain. She glanced down at her, Elaine was withering like everything around her. She ran into the now withering forest, holding Elaine tightly as she stumbled over dead roots that had popped out of the ground. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she ran. She looked down at the dying Elaine, holding her close as she continued to run as fast as she could.

“D-Don’t die, Elaine.. P-Please don’t die.” She kissed Elaine’s forehead, trembling put keeping her pace. Suddenly, from behind she felt an unbearable heat. She glanced behind her for a quick moment. The place was going up in flames. Her eyes widened as she picked up her fast pace. Her muscles tightened and ached as she ran. Trees in front of her went ablaze. She looked down at Elaine, Elaine was becoming unbelievably red now. She was scorching hot. She screamed out in pain, her hands were burning as she held her. She was crying now, her eyes were blurry…

She yelped as she began to tumble down a hill. She wrapped her arms around Elaine so Elaine wouldn’t take any of the damage. Her bones cracked, and blood trickled down her face as she fell against rocks and slid through dirt. She whimpered as she landed in a pool of mud. She turned onto her back, looking down at Elaine. Elaine seemed quieter now… She rubbed Elaines cheek with her thumb gently, frowning. “E-Elaine, sweetheart..” Elaine looked at her mother, her grey eyes seemed to be faded and not all there. She cried as she held Elaine, Elaine looked extremely pale now and had a few burns on her face. Elaine slowly began to close her eyes. She shook her head wildly as her daughter did this. Tears clouded her vision once again, she held Elaine tight. “N-No Elaine.. Don’t close your eyes.. S-stay awake.. Please..” Elaine went completely limp. She cried out in frustration, rocking her baby. “Elaine.. N-No! My baby.. Open your eyes.. Do it for mommy, p-please..” Elaine went ice cold, she wasn’t coming back.

Suddenly the world shifted. Elaine faded and vanished from her arms. She howled with frustration “ELAINE!”

The world shook, her dress grew longer and became a deep red. A gold design appeared on the velvet dress, earlier wounds vanished once again. Her face became slightly more wrinkled and suddenly she was on a balcony that was suspended off a huge tree in the City of Leumalin. A muscular built man with black hair and in long green robes stood in front of her. She furrowed her brows, quite confused.

“G-Gavin?...” Gavin looked at her with a face of anguish. “You made your decision and because of it I can’t live in this world anymore.” He stepped back, his left foot almost off the balcony. He held onto the open fence that surrounded the balcony, his only support. “Gavin, wait. No. What’s going on?! Please Gavin, help me!” Gavin shook his head, tears streamed down his eyes.

    “You killed me.”

And with that he let go of the fence and fell from the balcony. She screamed “GAVIN!” She quickly ran and tried to grab at his robe, but it was too late. She couldn’t get to him. He hit the ground with a loud thud. She held onto the fence as she looked down. His body was still. Her lip quivered.. What was happening? The guards from below looked up at her, they unsheathed their blades and growled “GET THE MURDERER!” They yelled. Her eyes widened, no. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. Before she knew it she started running again. She took two steps at a time as she exited the balcony, she cut corners and allies but the guards surrounded her. She backed up into the wooden wall that protected Malinor. They growled as they blocked every route of escape. She was trapped.

The world spun again, all around her stood the same guards that had trapped her before. She looked around, hay lay under her feet. Rope was wrapped around her legs and wrists.. She was being burned at the stake. A guard placed a lit torch beside the hay. She watched as the hay caught fire quickly. The fire spread quickly. All she could hear was the cheers of guards from all around “BURN! BURN THE WITCH!” Her head darted around frantically, she coughed hysterically as smoke entered her lungs, her breathing slowed and she caught one last glimpse at the guards before she was engulfed in flames. The flames blinded her vision, she thought she was going to burn, melt but something grabbed her. A dark mist surrounded her and tore her away from the flames into darkness. She looked around, a voice came from the darkness. Mist still surrounded her. A long glasgow smile, a pink nose and leering green cat eyes appeared in the darkness. It tilted it’s head at her for a moment before hissing.

    “Why Hello.”

  6. The Nightmare has Begun.

    Part Two.

She squinted as she looked around in the dust filled air. She slowly began to get up from the gravel path, coughing as dust got into her lungs. She stumbled, trying to balance herself as the dust began to vacate. She looked down, she was holding two books about swordsmanship…

“Hello.” A harsh voice called from behind her. It sounded familiar. She turned around to see three men. Her eyes widened, she threw her two books at the group before turning on her heel and running. She stumbled on the gravel path as she passed trees and jumped over roots. She screamed, daring not to look back but she could hear their footsteps, every step they were getting a bit closer. She continued to run, her breathing fast. She dashed through corners and stumbled as she came across little dips in the road. She finally stopped when she couldn’t hear their footsteps anymore. It felt like she had been running for hours. She sighed in relief when she had lost them.

She was about to walk back to her home when out of nowhere the three men appeared. They stared at her with a sadistic smile, their blades unsheathed and ready. Two of the men lunged at her. She thrashed, kicking and punching as they grabbed her. She went to bite one of their arms but they were too fast. They spun her around before one of them tackled her and threw her into a large boulder. Her skull cracked as her head hit against the hard rock, she cried out in pain as she fell back. She spit blood before screaming. Blood trickling out of her gushing wound. She screamed out of her lungs. “SOMEONE! ANYONE! HELP ME! PLEA-”. The third man grabbed her quickly and tied a large, rough rope around her mouth. Another man punched her in the jaw. She tried to scream, but her screams came out muffled. They dragged her and hauled her into a carriage. She continued to struggle. Blood rushed to her head as she hit the wooden floor in the carriage. Two men joined her in the back, they smacked her across the face before wrapping a rag around her eyes. She breathed heavily, her head was aching. Her face was burning. The last thing she could remember was a large boot colliding with her ribs, her eyes widened inside her blindfold before everything slowed down…

Suddenly she was falling into a large hole, she looked around frantically, trying to grab at the dirt filled walls to stop herself but her attempt proved to be futile. The blindfold and pain she felt had vanished, now she was just falling. She landed into a pile of snow with a groan. She rubbed her forehead as she looked around, her vision was blurry. Her hands were now freezing and gradually turning blue because of the cold. Everything was quiet.. until out of nowhere she heard an echo. She continued to listen to the echo, it was a baby crying. Her head darted around frantically, looking for the source of the noise. She stumbled hazily through the snow as she tried to find where the cries were coming from.

    AO3DkL2.png

She narrowed her eyes as a white wolf came into view. It tilted it’s head at her for a moment before turning back and running into a pine forest.

“Wait!” She screamed before tearing after it. Snow fell on her head and her dress ripped as she hit branches. She continued to follow the wolf, the baby’s cries getting louder and louder. It was taking her to the baby. She followed the wolf as it cut through the forest and past frozen ice ponds.

She came to an abrupt stop when she saw a pram. The wolf howled before disappearing back into the Pine Forest. The baby’s cries turned into small sobs as she stammered towards the pram. The baby was wrapped in a series of blankets. She gently lifted the baby from it’s Pram. She smiled down at the baby as she rocked it from side to side.

The baby’s sobs turned into whimpers, it looked up at her with sparkling grey eyes.

Her hands began to tremble as she held the baby. “E-Elaine.. N-No it can’t be…” The baby smiled up at her mother, letting out a little giggle. “Get out of here while you still can, my love.” She glanced down at the baby after hearing a familiar voice, the baby wasn’t speaking.. She craned her head to the side to see a man in armor, sitting on a horse.

    b5PbrCz.png

Her voice cracked as she spoke “T-Talon?” The man reached for his helmet before slowly removing it. He looked down at her, revealing a handsome man with long brown hair and a beard. His eyes were intense It was Talon. “Get out of here, the place is dying. Run. Now.”

  7. An Insight Into her Nightmares

    Part One.

She skipped around freely in the meadow. The grass skimmed across her ankles as she twirled around with complete glee. She looked to be about eight years old. Her long brown hair was in a plaid and her dress was a lovely bright yellow, it gleamed in the sunlight as she skipped along. Giggles left her as she frolicked around with her friends. She played with her friends for hours, skipping, rolling down hills, doing each others hair. It was a great evening, they played until sunset when her mother told her to come inside. “Come in, Angel. It’s past curfew!” Her mother shouted from the small cabin across the meadow.

She waved goodbye to her friends and set off, back to her house. She ran through the tall grass, and the lovely flowers that surrounded the meadow. She hopped over bushes and tore her dress. She had accidentally gotten too  close to a thorn bush, but she didn’t care. She had knew how to sew, she could easily fix it. She continued to run, passing trees, frogs, bugs and fruit flies. She giggled as she ran through a huge puddle in front of her house. She stopped in front of the door and walked inside. She felt unbelievably happy.

Later that evening, she sat with her mother in front of the blazing fire. It was a full moon, the sky was filled with stars. She could hear crackles from the fire. “I’ve been meaning to speak to you, angel.” Her mother said as she combed her daughter’s hair gently. “Yes, mommy?” Her mother sighed raggedly, her voice lowered instantly. “I have decided to explain this now..” Her mother’s eyes quickly looked both ways warily before she spoke once again..

“You see.. Sweetheart, I hear voices. They speak to me... all the time actually. They tell me to do things, but sometimes they can be wrong, sometimes they can make me do bad things..”

“Y-you hear voices, mother?” She said, showing a worried expression. “Yes, my angel.. I do. It carries on by each generation.. It seems that the eldest member of the family receives this cur-.” Her mother hesitated and stopped mid-sentence, not wanting to worry her daughter she said “Gift, gift of the voices.” She smiled at this, gift of the voices. She was receiving a gift? Her mother never lied so it must be true. “Really, mother?” Her mother bit her lip, she felt like holding her daughter and warning her of what was to come but she continued, holding in her emotions as much as she could, “Y-Yes… But, angel.. You don’t have to make them happy all the time. They may cause you to lose some loved ones and they may cause you to lose your things but you must never lose yourself because of them..” Her mother gulped, finding it almost impossible to hold in her tears. “P-Promise me that you won’t lose yourself..” She didn’t look back, she knew by her mother’s voice that she was serious. She frowned deeply before nodding her head, “I promise.”

    ZFHad1f.png

Suddenly, the world around her shifted and she found herself being dragged out the front door, she clawed at the wooden floor boards, thrashing and screaming. She yelled out to her mother, pleading for her mother to come help her but her mother just smiled at her before her and the rest of the surroundings vanished. It was time for the nightmare to begin.

    To be Continued.

((Hi. So this post is divided into Parts. It's an Alice in Wonderland theme, you will see as it goes on. Of course this post is not pointless, there is always an important realization in the end. It's also supposed to be a fun read. You may find this post slightly boring but it will get a lot more interesting as it goes on.))

  9. Caroline tilts her head as she watches the house burn from a far. She stays hidden behind a few trees and bushes as she takes a swig of her wine. She grins menacingly as she hears the faint screams of the guests.

"What a way to kill your house guests, Celestria."

She says to herself. She quickly sneaks away, staying hidden as the flames engulf the fire.

"I'm not going to be blamed for Celestria's mess." She murmurs.

    ((Was a fun event. I loved watching :3 ))

  10. New accent. New hair. New clothing. New scars. New make-up. New tan. New backstory. New face. New personality. New Name.

Beth had not intended to die, or at least create the illusion that such a thing happened. She was basically driven to it. Other options had been available to her but only this allowed her some degree of freedom. It was a favorable option. She could walk around in public and not be accused of anything of any sort. She could be a new person… well mostly.

It wasn’t easy. She knew it wasn’t easy. The most difficult task was changing some key aspects of her face. She missed her old nose and her old cheekbones.  She remembered looking at own reflection while basically torturing herself, adjusting the bone structure of her face with needles, scalpels and a chisle... Her nose received quite a bit of damage at first, it took weeks to get rid of all the distressing details such as bumps, angles.. you name it. It took a few weeks for it to settle. Attractiveness was key however. Of course, this was vain. She knew it was vain but she was, no, is vain. It had to matter. Still, she did not like to dwell too much on how she went about it. She did add a few scars to her complexion. It hurt, she almost damaged her eye in the process but it was worth it.

Her death, now that was fun. She remembered pacing up and down the tavern in the Cloud Temple… Just thinking. When was she going to die? Where would she die? How would she die? Now that was hard. It wasn’t easy planning your own death.

Firstly, she began by finding her ‘reflection’ in essence. Such a task proved impossible of course so she

left it. She instead found her cousin, Alice. She had never expected it coming. Beth had to improvise. She had to give Alice her most significant attire as well as dying her hair white. Her face was a totally different matter. It took a few agonizing minutes of torture and hammering to get the details and features out of her face. Alice was unrecognizable.

Secondly, the location. Where could she dispose of ‘her’ body? The Cloud Temple? No, the monks would dispose of her quite quickly. Abresi? No, too common. They’d assume it was a decoration. Within the City of Malinor? Too crowded. Although, what about outside the gates? It was perfect. At the fourth elven hour in the morning(4am ‘Kay?!) she became cloaked and suspended the body over a large branch just outside the Malinor gates, too large to be broken or cut. As an added touch she inscribed the words…

“The Bringer of Evil has come fourth and paid for her sins.”

Thirdly, she left a note that remained within the grasp of her right hand. Written in simple cursive writing it read…

“Dear all those who knew or heard of Beth,

By now you are aware of her crimes against humanity. She has paid for her sins in blood. Her blood. For all those who have lost loved ones to this beast I am truly sorry but justice has been brought. You are safe.”

For a moment Beth had a pang of emotion envelop her. Then it was gone as soon as it came.

Lastly, she sent letters to a few particular individuals. ((Will be made IG))

Beth paced around in the forest, alone. What was her new name? Grace? No. Elizabeth? Are you serious? Sarah? HAHA. Perhaps if she wanted to slit her own throat then maybe. Caroline? The name played across her lips for a few moments. It was beautiful. It was innocent. It was devious, dangerous even. It was perfect.

Caroline sauntered through the gates of Malinor several days later. She couldn’t help but allow a faint smile to make its way upon her face. She spoke the words in a harsh whisper.

    “I’m back.”

((Since it’s Christmas and the server is down I couldn’t do this in rp. So I decided to make a forum post about it. This is what has happened to Beth. Also, I’d ask that you do not make trolly posts to this. Also, please do not meta the info given in the post.))

  11. The Hooded Figure stands in a secluded area with her sister, she  wrenches back her elderly sister's hair painfully. She smiles menacingly as her sister finishes the letter. The Hooded Figure reads the letter before nodding to her sister. She calls for her dove, the dove takes the letter and drops it onto Cillion's feet. The letter reads...

    "Dear Cillion,

Your offer is ever so generous and I accept.

You will not know the time, you will not know the place.

But, I will see you soon.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Sincerely Anonymous."

  12. The Hooded Figure would sit in a secluded area with the child. She smiles down at the child as she rocks him to sleep, waiting for the pool of letters to end at the roads near Malinor.

"Good boy. This is only a lesson for your parents. They must know you are a special child and that they shouldn't allow any strangers into their home without cautiousness. Oh, and your parent's are quite stupid. You should look after them when and if I return you to them."

((Will reply to the responses soon))

  13. The hooded figure tilts her head at the letters. The figure writes a reply after ripping Aeras's letter befor anyone could see,

    "Dear Whomever,

A person like me would never murder a baby,

A parent is not a true parent if they lose their newborn child and to pay such a poor fee for their child is terrible. I will accept an offer in 24 hours or less."

  14. A hooded figure suspends two small letters over tree branches beside the roads near Malinor, the writing seems to have faded and blurred slightly from the falling snow/rain. The hooded figure vanishes quickly after. The letters read...

"Dear Aeras, Alana or whomever may come across this letter,

    Do not mourn,

Your baby is fed well and safe in my arms,

You have twenty-four elven hours to respond,

    Please read carefully.

If you do not save your child within the time his fate will be out of your hands.

To have the child you cherish so much returned to you, you must...

Pay a sufficient price. I will not name my price, I want to see how much you love your child. I want to see how much he is worth to you.

Another thing I  seem to have failed to mention, others may also respond to this letter if they so
wish. They may also offer a price if they want the baby for themselves to raise, perhaps?"

The one sentence seems to be repeated at the end of the two letters

"If you do not save your child within the time his fate will be out of your hands.

                                                                            Sincerely, Anonymous."

  15. Beth sighs. Her voice gone slightly hoarse,

"Well, if he is doing all these things then I think his attunement should be broken. No one can do what he's doing. Harrassment, running off, burying people alive.. I'm surprised he is still a Druid and I'm very surprised to know that he's alive. You would think a guard or someone would try stop him. Anyway, having his attunement broken seems like a good idea. It will help with resolving the problem at hand."
