At least daily for an hour or two a day. I spend a lot of my time online.
What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:
As in any RPG, roleplaying is the act of becoming someone or something else and acting accordingly.
What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:
I am a theater nerd at heart, so Roleplaying is almost second nature to me. My RPGs are my guilty pleasures.

I trust this server will be very "Medieval-fantasy".

I've played on a number of other servers. The main thing I look for in a server is a quality community, which this server seems to have.

I am an Elf.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
As a High Elf, I have an affinity for nature, particularly farming. In general, I avoid confrontation whenever possible since I strongly believe in working out differences by negotiation and commerce, although when pressed to fight, I am a competent archer. I am 230 years old, having reached adulthood within the last century. My father was never very wealthy, but he instilled in me a deep respect for tradition and living in harmony with nature. My mother was banished by my father 50 some years ago while she was with child. I never knew the baby, but my father tells me my brother's name is Maeglin.
I am very musically inclined; I composed my first noteblock symphony at a very young age. When it comes to architecture, I love asymmetry since I believe nature is inherently asymmetrical, yet there must be a balance in all things, so I tend to avoid extremes. I grew up with the other High Elves in the Mali'aheral city but I'm looking to make a place for myself in the world.
What are your Character's ambitions?:
I like farming and architecture since both teach me to be more in touch with nature.
What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):
Definitely a hoe and a shovel for farming and landscaping.
What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?
I am good at making architecture that flows into the landscape, working in harmony with nature instead of fighting against it.

I am highly intellectual and well-versed. In general, I tend to only associate with other High elves, as we are the superior and purest of the races that inhabit Asulon.
Open-Response-Questions
Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.
Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?
I calmly approach and ask the warriors, "What business have you harassing this halfling?". The warrior who is clearly in charge responds, "What're you going to do about it, huh?" Not wanting to start a fight, I try to mitigate a healthy discussion amongst the warriors and the halfling "Well surely we can come to a peaceable agreement. Perhaps we can come to some sort of agreement or compromise." If they insist on foulplay, I intervene, but only resort to combat as a last alternative: I fire two warning shots to bid the warriors move along. With the warriors distracted, the halfling scurries away to safety.
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?
Aloof, I ask "Have you any new building materials in stock? That droll brick and cobblestone won't do at all." The shopkeeper replies, "Right'-O, I think I have just the thing over 'ere. We just got this shipment of sandstone in". Sandstone interests me. "I'll take three stacks. I've been remodeling my sanctuary and I could use more of those." I haggle a bit and we agree on a suitable price. Then I wish him a good day and thank him for his services.
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:
I would muse to myself that this hut was likely built by a fellow traveler like myself, and if I had built such a structure, I would not want it changed in any way and I would expect my things be left alone. So I leave a note asking the race and social status of the owner. This is so I know whether this particular race can be trusted. For now however, I would leave the hut alone and find a different place to set up camp, preferably a considerable distance away to avoid being bothered by riff-raff.
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?
I greet them in kind and explain my plight, "I'm so sorry to bother you, but do any of you perchance have some bread or chicken I can purchase?". They respond warmly, "sure! In fact, you are welcome to come have a drink with us and chat" I am in a hurry, so I politely decline but buy a loaf or two of bread for the journey. Although I am lost, I do NOT ask directions since it's a well-known fact that elves never gets lost, especially a High elf such as myself. Besides, Elven cities are too well hidden to be found by just any wayward traveller.
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:
Every struggle needs not only soldiers in arms but also supplies. Since I am a skilled farmer, I offer to contribute food and other rations to help the struggle. I however strongly detest combat, so I would dedicate my talents in other ways. I am also very well-read since my father taught me many things at a very young age, so I would also offer strategic advice if needed. I leave the fighting to the peasants and inferiors.

This Server seems like a great community of which I am very excited and eager to be a part. I look forward to starting my Adventure!
