Metagaming is the use of out of character information in-game. PowerGAMING varies, the most basic way of explaining it is when you act in such a way that is near-impossible to conflict and defend yourself from. (Having a character who's flesh regenerates instantly after taking damage etc.) But you have to learn these things before you join, revise the meanings.
