In-Character:
Character Name: Hannah Blade
What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Human
What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):
Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
Hannah's childhood with her parents was unbearable. They were cold, and never spoke to her unless it was something they wanted. They were too busy fighting amongst each other, and it was enough to force Hannah to sneak away one night in her teens.
Luckily, Hannah found a small farm house, and they were hiring new hands to help with the work. She volunteered, and her charisma and good attitude toward the owners helped in influencing their decision to let her stay and work. She cared not for the small amount of money she was making, she had a place to stay and food to eat, and no parents bickering at each other.
There she met an elf, by the name of Simon. He appeared to be in his 30's, though Hannah knew that Elves lived much longer. She knew not what his real age was, she didn't care. He was very carefree, and worked as a serveant to his kind masters. He grew plants wonderfully, as if he was using a form of magic to help the farm flourish. As he worked, Hannah noticed a group of men that would watch him work vehemently from afar, talking amongst themselves.
Regardless of her duties, she was able to spend time with Simon. He was a best friend and mentor to her, and she loved the days when he taught her how to aim a bow and fire precicely. He was never too critical of her, and taught her well in the art of archery. She cherished those days.
One night, Hannah slept lightly. She was restless, and knew not why... something was wrong. In the middle of the night, she snuck out to see if Simon was still awake. Finding his small cabin near the farm house, he saw a torch that had been very crudely propped up, its handle in the ground. She pressed herself against the wall, and heard hushed, stern voices. Soon, she heard a scream, it was Simon! She hid behind a group of bushes and cried, not knowing what to do. Leaving the shack were the men who had watched him so vigorously. Their weapons were stained in blood. "Another scum wiped from our pure lands..." one said as they left.
Rushing inside, Hannah found Simon. He was barely breathing, and deeply wounded. She felt as if she wanted to begin screaming, but soon heard a very slight "Shh...." coming from Simon. He gave her a short smile... and closed his eyes. His body stopped trembling from the pain... and he became lifeless. She cried and decided to leave this behind her, she left the town with the few things she owned.
Hannah had not seen the last of the men, though. She had been traveling, saddened by what had happened, when they approached her as a group. They grinned, and said nothing as they pushed her to the ground. One tied her up with a rope, and the group somewhat dispersed. Only one approached, and the others seemed to pay no attention to what he was doing. He walked closer to Hannah, she began panting. He touched her cheek, and her heart froze. His hand moved down, and he was beginning to undress her. She closed her eyes for a moment, and remembered Simon. She remembered the sadness that fell on her when she saw him dead. The man began touching her. Suddenly, her mind snapped. She lunged her body forward on the man, and bit deep into his neck. He coughed and choked, but was dying of blood loss. Hannah, now enraged, drew a small knife from the man's waist and cut her bonds. The others approached, and she quickly ran at one, and wrapped the rope around his neck and tied it tightly. She left him there to choke to death. Now came the last two. She kicked the choking man into one, and leapt on him to begin stabbing him to death, violently and relentlessly. The blood spattered all over her clothing, and where the man had attempted to undress her. The last man screamed at the sight. How ironic that he could kill an elf so violently, but this made him fearful! She delighted in torturing him slowly to death.
Hannah had found a nearby stream, and washed herself of the blood, and took care to wash her clothing as best she could. She kept the knife, and cleaned it to keep as a weapon if she needed it. She continued traveling, and replaced the bloodstained clothing before it caused trouble. Hannah now travels onward, trying to repress the memories she has of Simon's death.
