This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Atolocus grew up as one child of many. With 3 brothers, and 4 sisters, he grew up patient and understanding. Atolocus's father was a great warrior, defending the Holy Oren Empire from all it's foes. Atolocus wanted nothing more than his father's pride and approval. Atolocus had his father's dark, brown, straight hair. Atolocus's mother was a kindly women; she always knew what to say when there was something troubling you. Atolocus has his mother's caring, deep blue eyes. As a boy, Atolocus believed in core values, such as having good manners, being patient and kind, and helping out anyone you could. When he was of age, he got a job as a hunter. He would sneak out into the woods and sneak up on wild pigs and cows and chickens, then smite them down with his mighty sword. He would then pray over the dead body, thanking the animal for it's sacrifice to him. He would clean the animal and take the meat to the market, where he would sell it raw to customers. His brothers and sisters provided him with much moral support as he grew up more and more, as he was the youngest of them all. They told him of the best places to shop, and a few locations to get the best deals on armor and weapons. Once he was 14, he had enough money to buy a full arsenal of leather armor and a fine iron sword. Atolocus stopped hunting and asked his father if he could teach him how to be a great swordsman, like his father was. His father complied, but first demanded that Atolocus would swear to not EVER quit his training. Eager as ever, Atolocus agreed. For 4 years they trained, every day of the week accept weekends, wearing Atolocus out. But over time, he grew stronger, smarter, gained more endurance, and built the character of a true man. This is the story of Atolocus. (Age: 19 years old. Hair: Dark brown and straight. Eyes: Deep green. Height: 6'1". Weight: 140 pounds. Personality: Smart and fair; caring and just.) (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Sword What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Swordsmanship and Hunting. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format, if you do not know how to acquire one, copy and paste this link into your browser: ( http://tinyurl.com/Lotcscreenshot ): Other Information about your Character: He would go on a trip once a year to the mountains not far from his house, with nothing but his sword and an axe, to test his survival skills. Open-Response-Questions Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP. Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? "You there! What do you think you are doing to that man?" "We're teaching him a lesson," one of the warriors replied. "What did he do to you?" The warriors look at each other, a dumbfounded look on their faces. "Why does it matter to you?" the other brute asked. "Because, this man has not wronged you, and you have wronged him. What do you have to say for yourselves?" "I don't like your tone! It's all.. intelligent-like." "Not a surprise that someone like you is void of intelligence." "What'd you say to me?" "Dude, I called you dumb. Keep up." The insulted warrior whispers something to the other. All at once, the two warriors get up from the halfing and charge Atolocus. Expecting such a response, Atolocus brings up his sword from behind his back and sidesteps the first man. He trips over thin air as he misses the target he was expecting to hit. Before the other man has time to reach Atolocus, Atolocus stabs the man on the ground in the side. He cries out in pain and falls forward. Then, Atolocus jumps backwards after seeing the glint of steel in the corner of his eye. Barely missing the sword, Atolocus takes a swipe at the mans hand. Inflicting a deep cut, the man drops his sword as he clutches his hand in pain. The other warrior begins getting up, grunting in pain from the stab, but Atolocus sheathes his sword and runs over to the small halfing, who appears to be unconcious. Atolocus picks him up and runs. After a few minutes of running, Atolocus goes off the path into the woods, where he lights a fire and lies down the unconcious man. After about half an hour, the man wakes up, a large bump on his head. "AHH! Who are you?" the halfling says to Atolocus. "Hello sir, my name is Atolocus. I brought you here so the warriors would find us." "You... you saved me! H-he-here, have some money! I am ever so grateful! Thank you so much!" the man says as he hols out a hand full of minas. "Oh, you are quite welcome, good sir. I hate to see dishonorable men like those picking on the innocent," Atolocus says as he reachs out his hand to accept the money. Walking the halfling back to the trail, they walk together until the trail reaches a fork, where they part ways. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "Why hello, good sir, I am looking for a sharpening tool for my blade. Do you have anything?" "I don't know how well this will work, but I could sell you some flint that you may be able to use to refine the blade on your sword." "I think that should work. What's the price?" "4 minas." "Could I perhaps lower that to 3? I seem to be low on minas." "Oh, I suppose that's alright, you seem like a good fellow." "Thank you so much, sir!" Is there anything I can do to help you in return?" "Well, it'd be great if you could bring me an apple." "Right away, sir," Atolocus said as he walked out of the store and off into the woods, searching for an apple tree. After about 10 minutes of searching, he spotted a tree with an apple on one of its branches. The tree was far too thick to shake down the apple, so Atolocus shimmied up it and kicked out with his foot, hitting the apple as it fell to the ground. As he was climbing down, he saw a wild pig nearing the apple. "Hey! No! Scat! Scram!" The pig showed no signs of listening to him, and continued on towards the apple. Atolocus jumped from the tree, landing in front of the pig with his sword wielded. This scared the pig off, and Atolocus took the apple back to the merchant. "Thank's so much for this apple! I had an order of 5 earlier, and I only had 4. Have a great day!" "And you, sir," Atolocus said as he stepped out of the shop to go look around Alras some more. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Atolocus waits outside in case someone lives there, but no one comes along. He goes back inside to look at the items again. Oh, it just doesn't feel right to take this. Perhaps wait a little longer? No, no... it's abandoned... Having a battle with himself on whether or not to take it, he hears a noise outside. "Hello? Who's there!" He walks outside, unsure. He looks around, and sees a ruffle of leaves. He picks up a small stone off the ground and hurls it as hard as he can at the bushes. "Oi! What was that for, then?" "Who are you?" "Alright, alright, fine. I was going to rob your house, but I didn't know you were home. "Sir, this isn't my home. I suspect it is abandoned." "Oh, goodie, then let me have whatever's in there!" "Not so fast. Why do you need the items?" "Because my family is poor and my wife and kids are starving!" "Oh, I guess you can have this stuff, then." "Thank you so much, I just know my family will be grateful!" "Yes, yes, goodbye, then. The best of wishes to you and your family." "Yeah, yeah, bye," the man said as he looked hungrily at the contents of the chest. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Hello, can you point me to an inn? I'm starving, and so tired." "Ok, right over there is our inn." "Thank you," Atolocus says to the villager. Atolocus walks into the inn and asks if he could have a meal and a place to sleep. "Of course, sir, that will be 25 minas.," the innkeeper replies. "Oh, it appears I'm quite low on money. Is there anything I can do to help you to pay off the 11 minas I don't have?" "Well, recently, our village has been terrorized at night by spiders. If you could get rid of them, it'd be greatly appreciated!" "Ok, but can I have some food first?" "Of course, of course, here you go." Atolocus gulps down the food with a satisfied sigh and gets up to leave. He exits the inn and the village. After walking for about 5 minutes, he hears the sound of spiders. Following the noise, he finds a small cove that is full of them. A few come up and attack him, and he disposes of them with ease. He then goes to a nearby river with a bucket, and fills its up to the brim. He poors the water down the hole, and the dead bodies of drowned spiders float up to the surface. He walks back to the village and tells the innkeeper that they are gone. The innkeeper thanks him, and shows him to his room. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: "Hello sir, are you the leader of the party to attack the bandits?" "That I am, young fellow. Are you looking to help us?" "I'd love to be of assistance," Atolocus replies. "Well then, be back here at dawn, that is when we're leaving." "Count on me being here!" Atolocus goes to the nearby inn and asks the innkeeper to wake him just before dawn. "Yes, I suppose I can do that." "Thank you so much, sir!" "You're welcome." Atolocus goes to his room and falls asleep. After a few hours, he is woken up by the innkeeper. "Thanks, sir." "Mhmm." Atolocus leaves the inn and jogs to where the town guard is meeting. "Alright, is everyone ready then?" Assorted "yes"s are tossed towards the leader, and they begin to run off into the woods. Easily keeping up, Atolocus looks around as they run. Seeing no signs of the bandits, he focuses on the path. The group slows down as they see a mass of bandits that were on their way to attack the town. "CHARRRRGE!" the leader of the party cries as they run to attack the bandits." Atolocus sneaks through the battle, dispatching every other bandit, and finds the leader. Catching him off guard, he swipes his head off. Not receiving any more commands, the bandits defense quickly falls apart. The guard pushes through the bandits and finishes them all off. They walk back to town with the few injured warriors. When they arrive, the leader of the party says, "Thank you so much, warrior. I really do appreciate your help," as he hands Atolocus two handfuls of minas. "Oh, it was my pleasure!" Atolocus replies as he smiles and accept the minas. Anything else you would like to say?: I think I did a bit better with my ORQ's than last time lol. Really excited to get a chance to play this server!!!!

(note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): (I apologize in advance for the mere LENGTH of this bio, I got really into it.) Born to a farmer, I was raised thinking I was normal. Thinking we were normal. But one day when i was 6, I woke up to shouting. I jumped from bed and ran to my window. Outside, I could see my father, holding a three-pronged spear, spinning frantically like he was looking for something, with his torch on the ground. I looked out near the woods, and I saw figures emerging. They were ugly and green from what I could see. While I didn't know at the time, I know now that they were a horde of Zombies. My dad had been teaching me to fight since I could walk, but I was scared... I didn't want to leave my room, but I ventured far enough to go downstairs to our kitchen. I saw my mother running outside to help my father. I suddenly felt a tingle.. it ran slowly up my arms, then through the rest of my body. I spun around, mildly light-headed, and saw in the corner of our house a light. The light started out dim but slowly grew brighter. I had heard tales and legends of the Aenguls and Daemons appearing to people, but then again, they were only myths. I know better now. The light continued to grow and grow, until suddenly it was larger than a full-grown human. And at that, a figure stepped through. A figure made of light. Not white light, but an orange light. When he stepped far enough from the light, I could see him. He was great in size, and his eyes were gentle, but had a glint of fire in them. His shoulders had fire lifting from them, and his hands glowed like hot ashes. He did not speak, nor did I. He held out his hand, palm down to me. I could feel the heat radiating from it. Suddenly, I felt warmth. Then knowledge. I felt knowledge in the form of warmth. Then came strength. Strength, also in the form of warmth. Lastly, I knew wisdom. The wisdom was the warmest of all, burning through my soul as if it were paper. Suddenly, my arms felt like feathers, and my legs like clouds. I looked back toward where the Daemon had been standing, but only saw a thin cloud of smoke. The light had disappeared as well. I took a cautious step backwards, not knowing what had happened. Not knowing I had been gifted. I was brought back to my senses by my father shouting as he battered away a Zombie. Then I felt another warmth. The warmth of wisdom. I remembered that I knew how to use a bow. But I didn't know how to use a bow! But I did. I'd never held one before, but I could feel the wood fit into my hand like I was holding it. I felt the warmth of knowledge next. I'd never been informed, but I knew my father kept a spare bow in his closet. I ran upstairs and fetched it. Next to the bow was a full quiver, and just seeing it reminded me how fast I could draw an arrow. It freaked me out at the time, because I'd never drawn an arrow before! But I knew I could do it fast. I jolted back down the stairs and out the front door, which was open from when my mother had run out. I stopped where I was, and suddenly felt strength. I felt a hot strength, burning inside of me. I drew an arrow too fast to notice, threw it onto the string, pulled it back, and let it fly. I was so scared. I expected the worst, for my arrow to completely miss. Or to hit my father. But neither happened. I opened my eyes to see a zombie fall backwards onto the ground, a pool of blood forming near his head. Blinking, I drew another arrow and fitted the string into its notch. I launched arrow after arrow, each hitting its mark. I didn't see my father any more, not in the group of zombies that had formed. Arrow after arrow, I slaughtered the zombies. The whole time I was thinking. "I can pull back a bow? I can pull back a bow. Why? No, how? I'm not that strong!" Which I knew, even then, I was. However, what I didn't know is that the warmth was the strength. Off to the side of the vicious onslaught was my mother, who was crying and screaming and hurling rocks at the zombies. I suddenly started shooting faster, drawing faster, killing faster. I wasn't thinking, not trying to shoot arrows, just doing it. I felt like I was watching someone else doing it. Suddenly, there were no more live zombies. All the corpses had either puncture holes from my fathers trident or an arrow protruding from their foreheads. And then I saw my father. The farmer. Lying on the ground. Then there was my mother, screaming in agony to his side. I don't remember then next few weeks, but I do know that from there, I grew up fatherless. I grew up in the hands of my mother. But I could provide. I could fish, and hunt. I could fight to kill. I was strong enough to shove over an cow (provided I had a running start). Such was only the beginning of my life. Age: 19 years old. Eyes: Brown. Hair: Brown. Height: 6' 1". Weight: 140 pounds. What are your Character's ambitions?: To fight to protect. My character places the money on the counter, and a small tip. He walks out of the store with a nod. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Thanking them for the tour, he heads over to it for a nap. Anxious to be on his way, he has a quick stop at the store to stock up and leave without further a due.
