(You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Human What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Bailiph was a little born to common folk in a small village. His father was a guard, and mother had no occupation. He was a tan little boy, caused by the tan skin of his father, with short dark brown hair and very dark brown eyes. He was also a very shy little boy, preferring to keep to himself. Bailiph’s father noticed this and wanted to help. So he decided to adopt a dog for his son. Bailiph didn’t like the dog at first because he thought it was useless and unintelligent. But his father insisted that Bailiph give the dog another try, to try and understand it better. So Bailiph, not wanting to displease his father, did what he said and kept giving the dog another look. Bailiph’s father was a skilled archer and wished for his son to develop his trait as well, so he trained him daily, when he reached the age of 15. Bailiph quite liked the Bow and arrow, and would often shoot at a target or at birds flying over the lake near his village. His father insisted that he brought his dog which he still hadn’t name because of his displeasure with it, along when he practiced, so he did. While he was practicing by shooting at his hay bales he had set up for a target, he was thinking of a name he could give his dog. He came upon the name Malcolm, a name he quite liked. While he was thinking of names he did not realize that he had been missing the target and shooting into the tree’s behind the target, when he reached for an arrow and realized there was none left he looked at the target and only saw about half of his arrows stuck into it. So he looked behind the target and saw a lot of his arrows stuck in big tree’s that he could not climb. While Bailiph was staring at the arrows in the tree’s, Malcolm decided to take out the arrows in the target and bring them to Bailiph. When Bailiph saw that Malcolm had brought him his arrows he was happily surprised. Bailiph returned home with half of the arrows he set out with. He asked his father if he would buy more but his father refused and told Bailiph that if he wanted more arrows he would have to make them. The next day Bailiph set out to gather wood for arrows with an axe and Malcolm. Gathering wood was difficult for Bailiph because he did not yet have the strength as a grown man to cut down bigger tree’s. He then shot down a few birds for feathers and an extra meal for him and Malcolm, though he could not cook, his mother did that for him. When he shot down his first bird, it landed in the water, and Bailiph was not planning to swim to get it. That was when he was again pleasantly surprised at Malcolm because he swam out to get it for him. After he had gathered the feathers and wood, he shaped stone’s to a point for an arrowhead. After he had gotten all the ingredients he headed home to get leather to put the arrows together. Baliph would do this routine three times a week for 3 years. Over that time of doing that routine he got better at archery through shooting down birds, climbing tree’s to retrieve arrows, and better at cutting wood through doing it repeatedly. He also saw in that time the usefulness of Malcolm. But when Bailiph was 18 he was tired at doing his same routine almost every day. So he decided that he would venture off with Himself some clothes, water, an axe his Bow and arrows, and Malcolm. When he told his parents this they had a sad look on their face when he said he would take Malcolm. Bailiph asked them what was wrong, and they told him that Malcolm had become very sick and probably should not walk to much, and that an adventure would almost certainly kill him. Bailiph put off Adventuring to be with his sick dog. Malcolm died of illness 11 months after Bailiph wanted to venture off. A month after Malcolm died Bailiph ventured off with everything he would have a year ago, except for Malcolm. Three months after Bailiph had been adventuring he decided that he wanted to find a town to settle in, a town with a skilled archer to teach him, due to his shyness and preferring to not talk to new people. He is still looking for a place like this. What are your Character's ambitions?: To find a town with a skilled archer to teach him advanced Archery. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Bow and Arrow What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Archery A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format, if you do not know how to acquire one, copy and paste this link into your browser: ( http://tinyurl.com/Lotcscreenshot ): http://s9.postimage.org/kivmlpnmn/2012_08_19_16_10_03.png Other Information about your Character: Stands at about 6 feet tall, medium build, tan skinned, dark brown hair and very dark brown eyes. Open-Response-Questions Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP. Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Bailiph see’s the two armed warriors from afar, he then pulls his hood down and slowly makes an effort to walk away. One of the warriors notices Bailiph and yells “Hey! You! What are you doing!? Come here to tell us to pick on someone your own size?! Well guess what money is money! And I want lots of it! I want this halflings money and I want yours!” The warrior walks rapidly towards Bailiph. Bailiph notches an arrow in his bow and yells at the warrior “Stay back!” The warrior stops in his tracks, seeing that Bailiph has the advantage of range. Bailiph slowly walks towards the warrior and tells him “Step back” Bailiph continues to walk towards the warrior and the warrior continues to walk back until his back is at the halfling and the other man. Bailiph then yells at both of them “Now both of you, leave this place or I will shoot! The second warrior looks at the other and says “He can shoot through our armor! And he can’t shoot both of us with one arrow” the first man responds “So what does that mean?” “It means lets go get him!” The two warriors start running towards Bailiph, Bailiph yells at the Halfling “Run!” Then runs himself, not wanting to kill a man. Since the two men were heavily armored Bailiph was able to out run both of them, since he was only wearing light clothing and a hood. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Bailiph looks downwards and pulls his hood down to cover his eyes, then says “Nothing I am fine, thank you” The man responds “Aw com’on there must be something I can get you! Bailiph slowly turns the other way and quietly says in a rushed tone “No, no I’m fine, really, tha-thank you” Bailiph then hurries away leaving the man confused. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Bailiph looks around him for anybody, incase it’s a trap, then grabs an arrow from his quiver and notch’s the arrow. He ready’s his bow as he slowly approaches the hut. As Bailiph slowly enters the hut he aims his bow at all the corners of the hut, checking to see if anyone is hiding, seeing that it truly is abandoned he approaches the chest grabs the ingots, but leaves the sword for it is dead weight to Bailiph because he is useless with it. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Bailiph looks downward, not making eye contact and saying “Hello, do you have food to trade for, I have little minas to trade but it is enough for food” The Stranger’s reply “Well if you have the minas I can give you the food! So what kind of food do you fancy? We’ve got bread, apple’s, pork, beef, you can have any of those as long as you can pay for them. Bread is 4 minas and… Bailiph interupts the man and says “ I’ll take one loaf of bread” The stranger has a confused look on his face from Bailiph interrupting him, after a few moments the man says “Alright I’ll get you your bread” The man goes into a hut and comes back with a loaf of bread. Bailiph give’s the man 4 minas, takes the bread, and leave’s without saying another word. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Bailiph, excited to help the local guard because of his father, runs to group up with the guards. Bailiph goes up to the captain and say’s “I am ready to help the guard!” The captain responds “Hold on, not anybody can help us you have to be able to defend yourself, what can you do?” Bailiph shows the Captain his bow and say’s “Archery sir!” The Captain raises an eyebrow and says “Archers are helpful are you good?” Bailiph quickly responds “I’d like to believe so!” The captain nods and say’s “Well alright then, if you help us and survive you will be rewarded” Bailiph then goes with the guards to help them be rid of them, he stays behind the guard swordsmen and fires arrows at the bandits. Bailiph returns to the town unscathed and collects his reward. Anything else you would like to say?: I would really enjoy being on your server.
