Definitions
In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying, or RP, is exactly what it sounds like; Playing the role of a character. You create a fictional character and think and act as that character would in the situations presented to them.
In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is the act of using information you gathered outside of the RP to your advantage, e.g. if you were talking to someone OOC about someone being a thief, and they ran from this person before they could strike, even though they had no way of knowing that this person was a thief IC.
In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-emoting is the act of doing something in the RP, giving the other player no chance to react, e.g. "Draws their bow and looses an arrow straight into the dwarf's skull, killing him instantly."
In your own words, define what Out of Character (OOC) is: OOC is out of character talking, usually to ask permission to do something in the RP or just to talk to other people. This does not mean anything to the characters in the RP.
In your own words, define what In Character (IC) is: IC is the opposite of OOC. IC is talking in character, and effects the characters in the RP. This does not represent the way the player feels OOC, is is just RP.

Character Race: Human
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:
Allister Proferus was a rather skittish child, born and raised in the northern city of Arethor. He has lighter skin, as such in the north, but he was small for a Northerner. He had brown hair and dark blue eyes. He was never with the other children, instead exploring the vast city, weaving through the buildings and the alleyways. He tended to keep people's attention off of him as much as he could, as he was easily startled by people he didn't know. However, he liked hearing news from large crowds. His mother was often off somewhere cooking for a small, nearby inn, but she did find time to give him a basic education. His father was an archer of average skill, and taught his son how to use a bow and arrow in his free time. Allister began fiercely practicing the bow, shooting his dad's archery targets whenever he wasn't wandering around the city.
Allister eventually became more skilled with the bow than his father, around the age of 15. He became dissatisfied with the small range of the archery targets, so he left the city walls for the first time to look for a better target. He discovered he loved the outdoors much more than the bustling city where he grew up, so he began spending more and more time there. However, he still wandered the streets, listening for any important news or anything exciting going on. When in the forest, Allister felt much more at peace. He set up targets along trees to see how far he could shoot, but never shot animals, due to the fact that they often startled him and he missed his aim, much like the way people startled him back in the city. Nevertheless, he continued wandering and shooting his targets for years.
During one of his walks to the forest, at the age of 20, he came across a small group traveling the other way along the road. Startled, he dove clumsily into a nearby bush. Some of the group members gave him an odd look when they passed by. However, Allister noticed that this was no group of ordinary humans; These were cat-people, the Kharajyr. He was fascinated by these beings, and watched in awe as they walked by, getting him more odd looks. When Allister got home, he pondered the cat-people he had seen, and decided he needed to learn more. He made the decision that he was getting to adulthood, and that it was time to leave his home. His parents were upset that their only son was leaving, but agreed with his logic. He headed out to the stables, and rode to the Cloud Temple to begin his expedition to find and learn more about the Kharajyr.
What are your characters ambitions?: To learn more about the Kharajyr.
Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here:
Is there anything else you would like to say about your character? He likes hanging around crowds unnoticed, but if he is noticed he gets very nervous. However, he is easily befriended if the person isn't upset by his odd behavior. Also, he will fight if a situation gets really bad.
Open-Response-Questions
Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.
Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?
Allister stays away from the dwarf, but the dwarf notices him
"Hey! Would you like to buy anything?" He asks
Allister stumbles back, but then recovers his footing. "W-what do you have to sell?"
"Swords, armor, arrows, anything with metal, really,"
"C-can I buy some arrows? How much are they?" Says Allister, obviously getting more comfortable.
"One arrow for five minas" Says the dwarf.
"I'll take some," Allister says, awkwardly dropping 15 minas on the table.
"Thank you so much. Maybe I'll be able to live here after all," Says the dwarf, handing him the three arrows.
"You'll be here for awhile? Finally, a good source of arrows! I'll be back for more when I have the money," Allister says as he walks off with his newly bought arrows, clearly glad that he didn't run off.
You’re in the Cloud Sanctuary late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. The only present monk is fast asleep, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?
Allister tries to stay away from the fight, but the dwarf spots him with his bow.
"Please, help me!" The dwarf says as he cowers behind Allister.
Clearly startled by all the attention, Allister looks for a place to hide, but the Orc comes over to him.
"Get outta' my way!" The Ork bellows.
"O-okay." Allister says meekly, and tries to step out of the way, but trips and falls on the Ork.
"That's it!" The Ork yells, tossing Allister aside. "You get outta' me way!"
Allister lands with a smack on the hard ground, and lays there for a bit.
"N-no! I don't have anything!" The dwarf says.
"LIAR!" Shouts the ork, and lunges at the dwarf, barely missing.
Allister, noticing the situation is getting bad, limps off for the docks as fast as he can, but not before sending an arrow at the Ork.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:
Allister is startled by the sudden movement, and falls over the other way.
"Please help me..." The old man says.
Allister gets up and quickly finds a broken branch nearby, and gives it to the old man in place of his walking stick
"Thank you," He says, and begins to walk off.
"S-sir? You dropped your Minas..." Allister said quietly, and scooped up the man's coins.
"My Minas? Oh, thank you... How can I ever repay you?" The old man asks as Allister hands him the coins.
"No need, s-sir. J-just go," Allister says, clearly very uncomfortable.
"Thank you kind lad..." The old man says.
Allister runs off before responding, wishing he'd done so earlier.
