In-Character Details
Is there anything else you would like to say about your character? Vassarian has an extreme hatred for goblins, he finds them irritating and will often be very racist to them.
Open-Response-Questions
Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.
Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?Vassarian walks to the dwarf with caution, not quite sure why he is there or what he wants to sell. He begins to smirk slightly as he finds that the dwarf is selling a bunch of iron weapons and armour. “Do you have any leather?” He says, speaking up. The dwarf gives him a funny look as he scratches his beard, beginning to chuckle. “Ye’ must be jokin’!” Vassarian grits his teeth and narrows his eyes before scoffing and walking in the direction he came.
You’re in the Cloud Sanctuary late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. The only present monk is fast asleep, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?Vassarian’s jaw drops slightly as he takes a few quick steps back, disengaging from the brewing violence in means of his own safety. He watches as the dwarf edges back slowly, hands wrapped around the shaft of his battleaxe. “Come on then ye’ giant cactus! Ah dinnae bite!” The dwarf mocks the orc, laughing deeply. The orc flares his nostrils, bringing a large foot up to hit the adjacent shaft of the battle axe, the dwarf wheezes a little “Oof” as he is knocked back. Vassarian pulls his hood over his eyes as he turns to leave, too dismayed to see any more.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:Vassarian falls onto one knee, cupping a hand under the old man’s shoulder. “Be careful” He grunts. “There won’t always be someone like me around when you come tumbling down.” He lifts the man to his feet, looking him in the eye curiously. “Th-thank you lad, here’s something for your troubles.” The man reaches into his pocket to pull out some minas but realises the bag is missing, Vassarian kneels down once again and scoops the coins into the back and holds it high in the air. “No. Something for your troubles.” He answers stubbornly, returning the money and refusing to take the man’s charity.
