Trained as a squire under Garret Barreta before he disappeared. What are your skills?: I am an expert with a sword having practiced using one for the majority of my life. I am a competent medic as well, and I am skilled with a quarterstaff. What weapon do you prefer?: The sword and shield. Why do you wish to join the Order?: I have a sense of duty to the Silver Gauntlet, as I was a part of the old one and wish to be able to continue my years as a warrior. What are some strength’s of yours?: Despite my age, I am still skilled with weaponry and very dexterous. Age may have changed my features, but not my physical strength or skills but instead...refined them. Tell us more about yourself (Brief Biography): When I was younger, about eighteen, I was inducted into the Phoenix Guardians. I received a lot of training there and admired my superiors, including Talon and my father Korren. I slowly watched, however, as the guild began to change into Bannermen. I didn't like it at first, but I learned to adapt to it. I must say though, the biggest change was when we became a knight order or chapter...whatever you wish to call it. It was a big change, to be sure, and many of my friends left. However, I remained true as my father wished. I was then squired to a man by the name of Garret. He trained me well and added to my knowledge of how to fight. A few years later, however, when I was about 30 I made a...mistake. I left the service of my knight and went to other places, away from him. I didn't take this time as a vacation though. I trained every day, refining my skills so I didn't become weak. I would not allow it. Over time, I became an expert with a sword...not a master, mind you, for I'm not entirely sure my skill could ever be that great. For there is always someone better than you in everything. You just may not know it.

In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character: Full Name: Daniel Kemling Current Age: 25 Sub-race (if any): Northerner Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Daniel was always a good kid. He helped out farmers with work for no pay. He also helped kids who were being picked on by the others. Although, he did steal from shops since he was very good at being stealthy.He grew up in the city of Arethor with his father, younger brother and younger sister. His mother had died giving birth to his younger sister when he was 8. His ancestors had fought in many of the wars, being a part of the Renatus army. Daniel's younger brother, Jacob, always wanted to join The Imperial Dragon Guard like their father. Daniel, however, did not want to join them. He wanted to be a humble blacksmith. He was stealthy, but that didnt mean he was weak. He was an amazing carver. He made a wooden sword for his brother to practice with. Daniel didn't want a warrior's life. He preferred a nice quiet life. But that didnt stop him from practicing fighting, and sneaking around. Never know when you might have to get yourself out of a bad situation. He started practicing archery and how to use a sword at the age of 17. When he turned 19, he decided to buy a shop. He crafted all sorts of weapons and armor. He would save money, and collect the materials himself. He made alot of money as a blacksmith, and decided to buy a house near his shop one year later. His house had two floors and a cellar. He had two rooms and a master bedroom. He used the other two, which were located on the first floor, as guest rooms. About two years later, Daniel's brother and sister came to his house, informing Daniel that their father had died while fighting. Daniel was shocked to hear the news, and his siblings needed a place to stay. So, he helped them move some of their belongings to his house and let them stay in the guest rooms. He didn't really mind them staying over. At the time, Daniel was 22, his brother was 19, and his sister was 17. Jacob asked Daniel to make him a sword, shield, and armor for him to train with. Daniel decided to go ahead and make a steel set of armor for him, a buckler, and a fine steel blade. Daniel decided to craft himself a sword, a bow, and some arrows. He would practice when he had some free time. A year later, Daniel's sister moved out, and in with her new husband. It was just Daniel and Jacob. One day, when Daniel was 23, he was working at the forge and he saw a young woman being attacked. He grabbed the sword he made for himself, a fine steel longsword, and charged the attacker. He got into a fight with him, and he was eventually able to knock him out. The guards took away the man. Daniel was proud of himself. But he didnt realize he had just shamed a dangerous group of bandits. They had established a camp in the city. He was walking home one day, and while he was walking, he was ambushed by 3 men. Now, Daniel had always been prepared for something like this in the city. He took out his sword and fought them all, getting many cuts, and a few deep wounds. He had knocked out two, and the other ran away. He started walking, but fell over, unconsious. He woke up a couple days later, in what seemed to an infirmary. His brother was standing over him, and told him that he was brought here by the guard. He had almost bled out. Jacob had also found out the house was burned down. Daniel had to live at the shop after that, but after two years, he had had enough. He decided he would take up arms and fight. But he would strike from the shadows. Mainly. But I cant get an in game picture, because the file's too large. Also, it's not in regular skin form. It's in the all disfigured form. I hope you wont make a big deal out of it :D Wears a black outfit to blend in with the shadows, but doesn't wear a hood to not draw attention to him. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do? Answer: Daniel would wait until walked into an alley, and then he would follow him, slowly making his way up to him. As soon as he would be about to turn a corner, he would grab him, push him to the wall and point his sword at his throat. Daniel then asks, "Who are you and what are you doing trying to get to the palace, huh? You gonna try and kill the emperor?" The man replies, "Yes. And I'm not afraid to admit to attempting to kill that horrible man." "What did he do to you, huh? What gives you the right to try and murder him?" Daniel asks him, using a calm, but strict voice. "He took away my home. He guards took down my shop. That man will die at my hands!" The man yells out. Daniel then replies, annoyed, "I'm done with this." and he stabs the man through the neck, killing him. Daniel then makes sure the cost is clear, and walks away like nothing happened. 2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react? Answer: Daniel goes for his bow, but remembers he broke it earlier. He reajusts his cheastplate (or whatever it would be) and charges the man with his back turned to Daniel, sword drawn. He grabs the bandit's shoulder, and pulls him back, and runs his sword through the mans back. The man falls over, and the other attacks with an overhead swing at the old man. Daniel catches the blade with his sword. He deflects it and pushes it away. He then slashes his chest with the tip of his blade, and the old man stabs his sword in the bandit's chest. He looks at the old man, and the old man hands him a small bag of gold. "Thank you sir." Daniel says. "No young man. Thank you." The old man then turns and walks into his house. 3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens). Answer: ((The one I've been dreading......UGHH)) Daniel spots a bow that fits the description of a legendary bow from stories his fathr had told him. "I'll give you 50 gold coins for that bow." ((Not aware of the currency, so I'm gonna so it's gold coins for now, and that they're around the same worth of U.S dollars.)) The man grins."I dont know.....The craftsmanship looks pretty good........500 gold. Daniel thinks for a moment. "350." "450" Daniel tinks again. "400, and throw in those arrows" and he points to a quiver of arrows. The merchant thinks for a minute. "425 and you've got yourself a deal." Daniel thinks for a second. "Alright then. Deal" and the two shake hands. Daniel pays the man, gets his items knowing he just played that man like a lute. I know the backstory didn't have much lore, but I tried to make up for it with adding a guild in there. I tried my best to find some lore, but I didn't know how to fit it in. I've worked on this for two days. Let's see if it payed off :D
