In-Character Details Character Name: Cyhr'Bahr Character Race: Orc Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Cyhr'Bahr was an orc born under the name of Cyhrex'Gohrshub in his mother Mahria's makeshift nest. Cyrhex's mother died during childbirth and Cyrhex was then abandoned in the nest with a hastily written note strapped to his left thigh. The note was written in poor, rushed handwriting from Cyhr's mother asking for anyone to care for her precious Cyhrex'Gohrshub (hence how Cyhr's full name was recovered). He was alone and was very ill by the time elven rescue squads arrived and found him. Then, they dumped him at a nearby orphanage. He received the basic necessities of life throughout his childhood in the orphanage. As he grew, he and his friends learned what families were, as they never had normal experiences. He was told that his mother had died while giving birth to him. Cyhr was not affected much as an uneducated orphan. Throughout his childhood, Cyhr proved to be an exceptional warrior. He was stronger than most non-orcish challengers, as many orcs are. When against other orcs, he fought valiantly and proved that he could hold his own. As he grew up, his skills improved greatly and he was a challenger most could not defeat. As an adult, Cyhr found his way to the village of the Bahr clan. After a short stay with the Bahr clan, he decided he wanted to join. At the Bahr's swamplands, Cyhr began his initiation by asking for and receiving a white bandana from the Bahrs' leader, Drog the third. He was told to dye the bandana in the blood of an animal that characterized him. He then began the search for an elder lion. He believed that the elder lion was wise, cautious, and very strong. He believed that the lion showed prowess and dominance over other animals, as he did to other races as a young warrior. He waited patiently until nighttime when the elder lion slept. he startled the sleeping lion and crippled him with a swift blow to the right knee. He cautiously proceeded to strike the disabled lion with all his strength and murder it. He collected the blood of the lion on his bandana, placing it around his temples and forehead. The resonating warmth of the blood tingled on his skin and hardened in place as he tied it tight behind his skull. He was now a true Bahr. As Cyhr grew into adulthood, he became very stubborn and irritable. He had a problem of disrespecting others a lot. He learned to cope with his emotions with alcohol, the sweet honey that carried all of his worries out of his brain and down his throat with every drink. As he became more obsessed with ale, he wanted to brew his own and not be dependent on others. In his spare time, he slowly learned how to become a true brewmaster. Cyhr has fermented ales out of ingredients including wheat, elf ears, and even snake skins. As he joined the Bahr clan, he found legendary ale hand crafted by Drog'Bahr II. The recipe was long lost but Cyhr found remnants. In his discovery, he was so excited that he drank all of the ale. He was ashamed of his actions and vowed to find the secret recipe and return it to its former glory. Cyhr'Bahr is a 7'2" tall orc with slightly yellow teeth. He has burn marks from his first experiences with fire at his orphanage. He wears tattered clothes and thick hiking boots. He is an aggressive individual who is not fond of finding friends. He is, however, a helpful individual and will assist any person in need. He is 84 years old currently. What are your characters ambitions?: Cyhr'Barh has a keen desire to become a true soldier on the battlegrounds of Asulon. He has experience in the field of blacksmithing and alchemy. He likes to brew custom potions enjoys learning how to brew ales and potions. He also aspires to recreate Drog'Bahr II's famous ale. I have prearranged the acceptance into the Bahr clan with my acquaintances. I have discussed with them and implemented custom lore, with Cyhr taking on the role of a brewmaster. Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? While wandering the roads of Arethor, I noticed the flimsy dwarf selling his wares. I was intrigued by his scrawny figure and I wondered how he managed to survive with so few transactions. I approached him as I asked (This is currently my best attempt at speaking orcish, as well as dwarfish): "Ug, smallsy. Latz hab sum ale?" "What d'ya think? This 'ere is a General Store." "Cyhr wants sum ale pushdug. Cyhr has minas fur latz." The petty dwarf was convinced by my cash and told me to return in the morning. When I returned, he had my alcohol and I gave him extra Minas. I was not happy with the outcome of this ale, as I suspected that he just went and found some cheap ale to make a profit of it. I was happy nonetheless, for I felt that I helped a poor individual to eat one more dinner. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? While wandering the Oren Road, I noticed a dwarf being held to the ground by a beefy orc. I was interested by the fact that the dwarf had a couple mugs of ale, one empty. I wanted to intervene without causing any conflict. I quickly approached the orc from behind and disarmed him with sheer strength. I asked what happened. The orc was apparently angry that the dwarf stole one of his wife's wolf while she was nesting. "I ain't done nothin'!" exclaimed the dwarf. As the tension grew, I had to act. As an alcohol enthusiast, I thought that a proper way to ease a situation with two stubborn individuals on the verge of violence was to have a proper drinking contest! I pulled the massive ale barrel off my back and asked the dwarf to hand me the mugs. I finished the brew that was in his drink and filled them both. I told them to drink and they drank. They drank until their eyes couldn't support themselves. They drank until their legs melted and their behinds fell into the melted pool of leg-juice. The orc could not continue and the dwarf won the contest. The drunken orc cursed at the dwarf and walked off. "Tha -hic- nk ya mister, Ye made mi night -hic-!" said the dwarf, about to lose consciousness. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: I am keen for cash but I couldn't steal from an old man. As I noticed the man on the road to the elven city, Malinor, I handed him my blade and lifted him off the ground. He used my sword as his walking aid as I recollected the Minas and returned them to him. He was very thankful as I darted away, frantically searching for a stick or something he could walk off with. I didn't want him to run off with my sword! I then found a new walking stick to help the man get on his way. I noticed he was injured, So I ripped out a patch of my shorts and covered his wound. I ripped out another strip of cloth and used it to tie the patch to the wound. BIG MONEY NO WHAMMIES! THIRD TIME'S A CHARM!
