How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? A friend who's been on hiatus until recently showed me the server years ago. What is roleplaying?: Playing the role of a character and acting out their interactions with the world around them. Improv theater. What is metagaming?: Taking advantage of foreknowledge that a player's character shouldn't have access to. What is powergaming?: Forcing another player to take an action through roleplay against their will. IE: “My character swings his sword, chopping off your character's hand.” In-Character Information Character’s name: Korbin Belfore Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human, Highlander Character’s age: ~60 annuals Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Personality Traits: Korbin is a man of few words and doesn't feel comfortable in large crowds. He feels most at home in front of his forge, but also fits in at the local tavern, where his hollow leg has earned him quite the reputation among brash young men who wish to challenge him to drinking games. Ambitions: Korbin has always dreamed of traveling the world, though his dream was sparked by the wonders of Anthos, not Athera. His father, Rickard, has always been keen on encouraging his son to live his life to the fullest in honor of his dead mother and sister. Occasionally, Korbin and Rickard travel from town to town to sell their finely crafted weapons and armor at trade shows and bazaars. Strengths/Talents: Korbin is a skilled blacksmith and miner, prefering to work in steel. Though he doesn't like others to know, he is also a talented artist, able to temper silver and gold great proficiently, as well as paint decent works of art. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Korbin is uneasy in crowds and has a hard time trusting others – this means that he rarely delegates tasks that he can do himself. He is also a slow reader, something he is embarassed by and has never told anyone. Korbin's aging father, Rickard, has become increasingly dependant on his son, though Korbin fully intends to rise to the challenge of supporting his father. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Height: 6'1” Weight: 100kg, 220lbs Build: Toned upper body, has a beer belly Hair Color: Black, greying. Eye Color: Dark Green Skin Color: Tanned, often soot covered Clothing: Korbin typically wears a loose fitting, soot-stained tunic. On top of his shirt is either a thick leather apron for forge working or a sea-green vest given to him by his father, which Korbin takes great pains to keep washed and mended. His pants are dark gray wool with a black leather belt wich boasts a small decorative dagger on rare occasions. Korbin's shoes a are stained jet black from forge work and worn through at several places, but the traveling boots he wears on special occasions are always freshly oiled and scrapped clean.
