How did you hear about us?: - I googled "Minecraft Roleplaying Servers" and instantly fell in love with your server, a while back. What do you think the server will be like? - Fun! A lot of adventure, with a good story to it. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Of course. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - "Consistently depriving [players] of their fun..." I think everyone should have as much fun as possible! Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- Yes I do, PVP must be consensual and can be either mechanical or in rp. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so maybe we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules):- Not really, the rules posted are reasonable and make perfect sense. Definitions These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. What is roleplaying?: - The act of immersing yourself in an environment and acting as a persona or character rather then yourself according to their behaviors and knowledge/information. What’s metagaming?: - Going beyond what information your character would know and using OOC information within roleplay. What’s powergaming?: - Forcing your will on the roleplay. Your persona cannot be good at everything, or have superhuman strength, intelligence, etc. to a point where it damages other's roleplay experience. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Seth Clarke is the eldest of 3 brothers, Humphrey Clarke and Solomon Clarke. The three grew up in Tempum, born to a fierce, religious mother and a soldier. Their father, Rolland Clarke, died in a tavern brawl while they were young. Their mother raised them well and disciplined. Seth was always the most serious of his brothers, and always had a very analytic approach to life. Soon, they moved to a small homeless shelter near the Cloud Temple in Thales. It was there that Seth met a soon-to-be close family friend, a dwarf by the name of Malfod. The boys' mother hated the dwarf, and thought he was a bad influence. This, however, did not stop Seth and his brothers from speaking with the dwarf. As it would be, Malfod was a learned man. He taught the boys how to read, write, and speak properly and taught them each a trade. Seth was taught fishing. With a secured future, Seth went to join the work force when he was only 16. Clarke spent two years fishing and selling his catch in a small town called Norithel, in Haelun'Or. He hated living among the High Elves, but the Wood Elves who ran the city were generous and kind employers. When he was 18, he became restless. He no longer craved a simple life. He traveled to all ends Thales, eventually settling in The Armored City for 4 years, picking up whatever odd jobs he could. He soon became a very tolerant man, having lived among many of the descendant races. With his new found peace with the world, he began wandering again. He spent his twenty-third name-day on the road, drifting. He intends to possibly meet with his brother Humphrey in Aldersberg County, in Oren. What are they like? (personality): - Simple, logical, and strong. Not a man to pick fights, but a man to end them. What are their ambitions?: - Wants to the advancement of his family name (Officers in military, high stations, etc.) One day wishes to write a book about his life and adventures. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Commanding respect, easily makes friends, but will not sugar coat words to them. This makes him a bearer of grim news, who often makes enemies through his harsh truths. Alright at combat, even better at inspiring loyalty. Give us a description of how they look?: - About 6 foot, and few inches smaller than his brothers. Dark hair, not particularly handsome, but not ugly either. In-Character Details Character Name: Ryldur Character Race: Elf Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Ryldur is an elf who spent his years in the forest he calls home. He has brown hair and has a tan complexion. Ryldur is thin, fit, and loves to swing and play in the trees and explore. He lived with parents who frequently neglected him. They were almost always intoxicated. They often gave him nothing to eat, so he had to fend for himself as a youngling. They also worked him to the limit. Finally, Ryldur snapped and ran away at 13 years old. He is now 16 years old and follows the wind when he travels. He is usually caring to all of the people he meets and is generous to those who struggle. He is very patient and does not leave anyone behind. Ryldur tries to make everyone's life as joyful as he wishes his life was. He often tries to give others what he did not have in his childhood. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? *Walks over to the dwarf's shop and starts a conversation* Hello, stout one! How are you today? *The dwarf looks at me, and says that he is going through a rough time and that his fortune is not good at all* *I rip off my bag and hand it to the dwarf, take a sword, and leave* *The dwarf is speachless* Good bye, dwarf. I will take my leave now. *Dwarf manages to choke out a thank you* You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? *Eyes Orc, studying him carefully* Hey! *Get's Orc's attention* Let the dwarf go! *The Orc scoffs and say's, And what are you gonna do?! Do you want to take his place?* *Unveils cloak revealing a scimitar strapped to his belt* *The unarmed Orc starts to cower and walk away slowly saying that he meant no harm* *Helps the dwarf and asks if he is okay, then walks off.* Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: *Helps old man back to his feet and puts his arm over my shoulder to help him keep balance* *Looks at the spilled Minas* Let me find you a new bag for your Minas. *Looks for something to use as a bag, then spots a cow* I can use it's leather to make a bag! *Hurries back to the old man with the leather. Picks up the Minas and places it in the center of the leather, ties the end of the leather and hands the old man the new pouch." I am here for you, old man. *Helps the old man home*
