My username is 'tomh98' Definitions In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is the act of assuming the role of another person or character. To do this you might change how you act, speak, type or look. While roleplaying it is important to not come out of character, as this can ruin the fun for you and others. In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is when you are supplied with information that your RP character would not necessarily know, So maybe some information that character could only have obtained through asking the person you are talking to, such as a name. In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-Emoting is when you abuse the emotion function and use it to your own gain, such as "Sean picks John's pocket and steals his wallet." (This example was taken from Urban Dictionary, but the definition is in my own words.) In-Character Details Character Name: Galalith Black Character Race: Dwarf Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Galalith was born into a middle-class family in Kal al ŕas. His father was a smith, and his mother a washer-women. He had 7 siblings, of which He was the oldest. He grew up on burned bread and old cheese, but grew strong and tall for a dwarf. He learned the ways of the axe from a kind soldier who would let them use his weapon when we was on watch. On the turn of his fifteenth season, his father took him in as an apprentice in his Forge. Unfortunately, Galalith lost his hand in an smelting accident, rendering him unable to smith any longer. He joined a band of travellers as a caravan guard, and this took him across Asulon, from the bitter cold of Hanseti to the heat of Halvaska. He learned the trade of food and drink along the way, and after a season with it, he left the caravan to return home. There he found his father had died of a fever obtained from a gouty wound, and his mother had become a ***** to raise money for his remaining siblings (2 had been killed for attempting to rob the castle treasury). While helping his family back onto their feet, Galalith noticed that his family was not the only family in financial trouble. He realised that there was fine line between the rich and poor of the city. He tried to bring the problem to the eyes of the city government, but they ignored him. He decided that he would Put these troubles behind him and leave again. He started travelling across the globe, following the path he took with the caravan. One day on his travels on his way to Arethor, we was ambushed by a group of bandits. He managed to kill a few, but they had him outnumbered 7 to 1. He yielded and was taken prisoner. The bandits dragged him west, along the great western road. There he met strange nomad clans of all races, and some he had never seen before. Sometimes the bandits traded with them, and sometimes they raided their camps, killing men and raping the women. They returned to the known lands of asulon after a season, and made camp in the King's forest. One night, Galalith overheard the bandit leaders talking of a planned raid on the town of mireton. he decided that he must help them. When the guard's came with his food that night, Galalith through the boiling broth in the guards eyes, and used his chains to strangle him. He took the keys form his body, unlocked the chains, and took the guards Great-axe. He then stole a horse and ran into the night. 2 of the bandits came after him, and one fired an arrow at him. It took him in the lower leg. He wheeled his horse around and rode headlong at the bandits. He took the archers head off with one sweep and smashed the others skull in with the pommel of the axe. He arrived in Mireton in the small hours of the morning, and managed to warn the lord of the town of the assault. He was commanded to mount his horse and charge at the enemy along with the other mounted guards. He flew headlong into the battle, killing 3 bandits as he went, the guards were doing well, and Galalith thought that the battle was over for him when his horse went from under him. An arrow poked from the horse's, and Galalith looked up to find the bandit leader loose another arrow at him. He managed to dodge the arrow, but not the charge of the bandit leaders horse. It smashed him full on in the shoulder, breaking in instantly. Luckly, it was the shoulder of the handless arm, and the leaders horsed had crumpled to the floor. Galalith hobbled over to find the bandit leader stuck beneath his horse. Galalith swung his axe down, and the bandit brought his sword up to parry, but the thin metal was no match for the steel of the Great-axe. the weapon snapped and the Great-axe crashed into the bandits skull, sending blood and brains flying. The remaining bandits saw and either threw down their weapons or fled. Galalith was offered a reward for his bravery, but he refused the minas, and began travelling again like nothing ever happened. What are your characters ambitions?: to find his feet in the world, and maybe to pledge his axe to a great king. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: HERE Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: He is tall for a dwarf, and has a jolly personality. Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I would go over to the trader and strike up a conversation about his background and his wares. I would send much on wine and clothing, before taking the dwarf to the tavern for a drink. I would ask about life in the dwarven kingdom, and see if the poverty had been eradicated. I would then ask the dwarf if I could stay with him for a night or two. If the answer was yes I would buy him yet more ale and food, and then procced to his house. If the answer was no, I would give the dwarf some more minas and then depart. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I would move over to the couple and ask what was going on, The Orc may be angry about the fact the dwarf got in his way. If this was the case I would say to the Orc "I'm sure he meant you no harm, my friend. Please, just walk on.". If he refused to move I would grab some minas and thrust them at the Orc, and asked if that changed his mind. If it did I would then take the Dwarf to the city (Be it Solace or Arethor, whichever is closest) and see he found a place to sleep and that he did not get into anymore trouble. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:I would Pick up the old man and lean him against a tree to rest. I would ask if he was injured. I would then collect the coins and then empty his own bag, putting the old man's money into my own empty money bag so it would be easier for the old man to carry. I would then help the man to the nearest village, town or city, find a surgeon or healer, and leave him. If a reward was offered in thanks, I would decline it and make my way to the nearest inn for some meat and mead.

He realised that there was fine line between the rich and poor of the city. He tried to bring the problem to the eyes of the city government, but they ignored him. He desided that he would try to bring equality to the city. He attempted to protest peacefully against the poverty, and was met with strong support, but also strong support against his movement. He soon realised that the government where trying to oppress the movement because the ministers where keeping the money for themselves. He realised a peaceful protest would do nothing, and violence was the only answer. He led his rebel troops against the castle, lighting the homes of minister's afire was they went. The city guard sallied out to meet them in the throne room, but soon found themselves outnumbered, so many yielded. Galalith held the castle and the city ministers. But Galalith did not realise that one of the ministers had sent a bird to Kal'Dwain, and their troops were marching. They attacked while the rebels celebrated over their victory. Many were killed and Galalith was taken prisoner. Galalith was taken to the town square the next day to be executed, when his mother offered to be executed in place of Galalith. The leader of the Kal'Dawinian agreed on the term that Galalith Black must go into exile and never return to the Dwarven lands. This is where the next chapter of his story begins. What are your characters ambitions?: To attempt another rebellion against the corrupt government, but until find his feet in the world. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: HERE . He would take him to the local tavern an fill him up on ale, and then ask him if it would be possible to sneak him into the city of Kal al ŕas. The trader would probably decline the offer, as so not to risk his neck. At that point, Galalith would stand up, throw the man a few coppers, thank the bar keep, and then walk into the night. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. At that point Galalith would punch the Orc hard in the mouth with his stump, while drawing his axe with his hand. He would bring the base of the weapon into the side of the Orc's head and kick him between the legs to keep him down. He would then toss the dwarf a copper coin, and continue on his way.
