In-Character Details Character Name: Crixus Wood Character Race: Elf Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: They call me Crixus Wood. Changed my name after my parents passed away as a small way to remind myself that I am not the kid that I used to be. I was born looking like a typical elf with fair skin, green eyes and blond hair. Born in Sylvenor, I was fairly known amongst the kids my age and always had a friendly personality. Although I still preferred to stick to myself most of the time, finding that being with people for too long is quite annoying. My dad was a hunter and my mom was a scribe and we were quite an average family. My mom kept me well educated while my dad taught me his skills in archery and the art of stealth. When I say art, I mean it... My dad could blend in with a shadow and move across a fairly open field with you not noticing he was there. Since we were surrounded by woods, his stealth made him invisible. After 100 years or so, my father passed away because of old age, with my mother following him into heaven for the same reason a few years later. That was when it all changed... I became to prefer isolation even more, never seeking long conversations and never saying more than needed. Even though I did not follow my parents' paths, I decided to do good for others and try to stop outlaws if and when I could, always finding pleasure in seeing criminals get what they deserve, be it death or jail. I later on heard about murders and muggings in the woods next to Sylvenor and decided that it was time to move on and change my life for good, leaving the past behind. I left the city and settled in the woods, living life on the move. Sleeping when needed, eating when needed and never staying in one place for over a day. I found pleasure in hunting down criminals and helping the folk if I heard a plea. Criminals saw my young face and that boosted their confidence, only for me to shoot an arrow through their leg without them even noticing me draw it. That's the moment I love the most, seeing the fear in the eyes of those that instill it into innocent people. As years passed I adapted more and more and made a cloak that seemed to blend in with the surrounding environment, while constantly keeping me warm on even the coldest nights. Now along with that, my strength, speed, and stealth are unmatched by any other. If the need arose, I could draw, load and fire my bow before you manage to gasp in surprise. Over 20 years in isolation, after turning 265 years old, I decided to come back with my new skills and serve as a guard. Hoping to go up in rank and later on help a nation prosper and defeat all of its foes. My name is Crixus Wood, and I will be known. What are your characters ambitions?: To earn trust of people and be that person that every criminal fears and hopes to never lay his eyes on. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/18/20121113204857.png/ Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: No Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? As I make my way into the city of the humans... What was it called?... Arthor? Author?... Oh wait Arethor, right. Hell, the town looks pretty good but I still prefer the woods. Before I even make 20 steps in the town, I am approached by a dwarf selling nothing I am interested in. But before I send him off, I notice he has a bow for sale and the fact that he seemed pretty damn poor. I can make more money later on and a spare bow won't hurt. Giving the dwarf a few Minas, he puts on a wide smile and walks away. Already doing good... feels nice haha. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? Walking out of the local inn, I refuse the offer of the innkeeper and walk on my way, deciding to cover more ground. I turn right on Oren Road and walk with big strides. The night was silent up until I start hearing someone speaking in an almost threatening manner. I follow the sound of the voice and see an over-sized Orc, trying to take away something from a dwarf. God dammit, just what I need. Pulling out my bow and readying an arrow on the string, I yell across to the Orc, trying to put a hint of authority in my voice, "Let him go... Now." The Orc was startled for a second and then without any sense of intelligence, walks towards me, clearly being ignorant even though I had an arrow, knocked and ready, pointing at his chest. "Not a step closer Orc." He keeps advancing so I put an arrow right between his legs, "I will aim at your chest next." The Orc jumped back as he heard the arrow hit the ground below him and he hesitated, seeing that this wasn't going to go well for him. He turned around and walked away... Just as I thought. Used to picking on helpless merchants, the Orc was not used to being threatened back. The dwarf thanked me and I just nodded my head and walked past him, on my way. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: Ahh, I've been walking down this road for an hour now. Where the hell is the damn city? I was starting to hesitate, thinking I walked down the wrong road. To my luck an old man turns the road ahead of me, coming out of the trees. I quickly approach him and just as I am about to ask him for directions, I hear a snap and he falls to the ground face first. The thud of his body was followed by the sound of metal on stone and I noticed a bag of Minas has split open and fallen to the ground. I quickly help the man up, picking him up by the arm and gathering his coins together and handing them to him. At first, looking the man in the eyes, I thought I saw a hint of surprise in his eyes but it passed. These folk are used to robbers and bandits... Picked on and robbed and sometimes killed, always lives in danger. He was a lucky man I thought. I quickly ask him where the city of Malinor is and he tells me to follow the road for another 10-20 minutes. I thank him and walk on my way.

Light blond hair, green eyes, white skin, hard-set jaw, thick neck, average-sized muscular build. Or so it said on my profile for when I was jailed for treason against the king, awaiting my execution. For years working as a Ranger for the king, trained in arts of stealth, combat, archery and sabotage... have been ignored at my trial. A man who I regarded as a friend, planted false evidence against me and marked me a traitor... To this day I do not understand the purpose. Greed? Jealousy? While on the road to my execution stand, surrounded by guards, I managed to escape into the crowd of people while we were in Sylvenor. The surrounding forests were a perfect place for me to hide while I was trailed by guards. Of course with their armor and weapons, they quickly tired on the uphill run through the woods, while with my physical conditioning I was barely winded. Living for 5 years in the forest, I was the main reason why Sylvenor woods were considered dangerous, I have managed to sharpen my skills in archery and the art of stealth. Of course I couldn't simply hide in the shadows all the time, so I designed a special camouflage suit, that seems to blend in with the forests. Soon any traveler that happened to get too close to my shelter would find himself approached by a “forest spirit” haha, so they called me. Ranger training conditioned me to what some might call "not human"; my speed, reflexes, strength and will are unmatched. Even though I was partially trained as an assassin, I worked for the good of people, eliminating criminals and abusers of power. I still am a force of good and a big force at that, and do not tolerate people getting picked on by others just because they cannot earn an honest living. After 5 years of isolation, I have decided to move on to other lands where my skills can be put to good use; starting over might be good for me. Hello again, Auslon." -Crixus Wood What are your characters ambitions?: To earn trust of people and be put back in the “famous but feared spot”. I worked as a ranger and would like to continue providing my services to others. This time, friends will be picked better and I will follow my instincts, trusting no one.
