  1. Being new to the server I have found this map a nice way to learn how to play. It gives ample opportunity to see the types of places that exist, though I realize not all of these are possible to display on such a small map, as well as meet new people. The only downside that effects me is the lack of space to build, but even that is not a hug issue for me.

In-Character details: Character name: Darkan Character race: Dwarf Character Biography: Darkan was born to a small mining family in the city of Kal’Dwain where he spent most of his childhood. Though not officialy associated with the Irongut clan his parents had moved to Kal’Dwain shortly after the death of Draco Irongut. When his father, Racken, heard the call to arms against the undead, he leaped from his relatively bland life as a miner for the chance to prove himself against the undead hordes that now infested the lands. His wife, Gabam, begged him not to go, but he insisted that duty demands that he fight this new threat. Shortly before the fall of Alras, Racken retired from the military, claiming that he had done his duty, and for several years the war seemed distant to Racken and Plocket and they started to build their family Darkan was their 5th son and by the time he was born, several of his elder brothers were already marching off to war. As Darkan grew, he heard of his brothers falling on the field of battle until he felt compelled to do something about it. But when the news that his father was rejoining the legion came, he was distraught, for he feared that he might lose him. He begged him not to go, but he left Darkan none the less. To hide his grief he burried himself in work. He would help prepare potions for the war effort in the local hospital, gaining a basic knowledge of brewing form doing so. In the time when he was forced to go home to rest, he would read tales about magic and the wondrous abilities of dwarven runecrafting. When his mother heard the undead army was approaching Kal’Dwain, she was concerned for the families safety and thus had the diminished remnants of our family retreat to the sky temple. Shortly Racken fell in the battle of Kal’Urgan, fighting to try and defend the keep from the undead hordes. it was clear then that there was no hope to reclaim their land from the undead, Darkan and the rest of his family ventured to the Verge to start anew in a new land. Darkan’s family boarded the massive ships along with the other fortunate people to have escaped to the Verge. Much time passes on the boat and Darkan became accustomed to its rocking, and for the first time in a long time felt something close to safety. He made friends on the ship and learned to come out of the shell of work he created while in Kal’Dwain. He spent most of his time in his room pooring over the few of his tales that he managed to save, a basic guild to brewing, the tail of the Descendants and a history of Irongut clan. Then they came upon that one fate full storm that shattered their ships and stranded them in a strange new land. As he looked into that massive wall of water, his only regret was that he had not been able to do anything to save his family from this fate they now suffered. When he woke up on a sandy beach some days later, he was amazed at the miracle of his survival, but soon realized that he had lost the thing that had mattered the most to him, his family. What are your characters ambitions: He main wish is to see himself reunited with whatever remains of his family and to resettle in this new land, but he also thirsts for knowledge of brewing and dreams of magic. Please provide an in game screenshot of your skin here: http://www.planetminecraft.com/skin/dwarven-alchemist/ I apologize that I could not get the actual in game screen shot to load, but here is a link to the skin I will be useing Other things we should know about your character: Darkan is a friendly person and often is a little naive about the world due to his young age, but is fiercely loyal. He also has a problem of hoarding all forms of books, which developed over the long sea voyage. The long sea voyage also lead to a sever drinking problem as they soon ran out of fresh water. Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the mighty human city of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper his wares to Passer-byes. The shop keeper is not a human, but a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new City. What is your response? : I walk over to the dwarf saying “Hail, How fair ye?”. The shop-keeper responds “well, have ya come to see my goods?”. I respond “aye, what have you got for sail?” he makes a gesture to his goods which are laid out around his stall, “I am selling the finest steel that you will find in these part” the shop-keeper proudly states. Not realizing that he might be exaggerating I quickly make a generous offer for a chest plate, which he accepts with glee that someone appreciates his work as much as he does, as it is of a rather low quality. I chat with the shop-keeper about the latest gossip and jobs around the city. After getting a recommendation for an inn that I can stay in I head off with a hearty goodbye and a promise of a pint the next time we meet. Your wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large orc threatens a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and it looks like it will escalate quickly into violence soon, what does your character do? : I would rush to the dwarf aid, calling out to the orc to stand down or we will have a problem. I quickly find myself drawn into the argument that the Dwarf had been having before I arrived, and find myself becoming angrier and angrier. Soon it devolves into a three way shouting match with the arguments barely intelegable anymore and insults flowing as freely as ale in a dwarven pub. My fellow Dwarf is the first to throw a punch, and as the argument devolves into an all-out brawl a patrolling guard shows up and quickly intervenes, landing all of us with a night in jail. In the morning I would offer the dwarf a round of drinks at the pub, congratulating the orc as I exit the jail on a good fight, and after more than a few pints I say farewell and return to my travels While walking down a road in Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick looks frail and weak, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a big bag of minas falls to the ground and splits open. As you watch multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do? : I rush toward the old man, asking if he needs any help. He says “aye, I appear to be in a little bit of a pickle”. Upon hear this I help the old man to a nearby tree stump where he sits, talking as I collect his coins and hand them back to him. After this I head to a nearby tree and attempt to break off a low hanging branch, but fail due to my diminutive stature. Upon seeing me hopping up and down trying to reach the lowest branch of the tree, the old man laughs. I quickly change tactics and turn red with embracement, as I search the ground for a fallen branch that will work as a cane for the old man. After finding one I walk him into the town where we part paths as I continue on my travels.
