    What the heck is a DDos anyway? I've heard the phrase so many times, and I tried googling it, but I can't really figure out what "Denial of Service" means.

      Umm, DDOS is when people send so much STUFF at your internet, that it crashes it. You can always google "DDOS" and it should bring info up.
