In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Metagaming is using OOC information in an IC environment. In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-emoting is using an action in character that is not possible for any being to preform. Furthermore this can include forcing a player to commit to an act or make them not able to react or prevent an occurrence for example: I attack you and hit you in the head making you distraught and unaware of your surroundings! - Incorrect I attempt to attack you with my knife! - Correct This gives the person time to react and give a reason for why or why not he could have been hurt from the attack. In-Character Details Character Name: Wyatt Character Race: Human Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: As a only child, just exposed to the loneliness without a brother or sister. Composed of innocence to build a life as an orphan. With no last name, left abandoned on a porch in front of the church on the outskirts of the nation Malimore a pin with a single name that read... Wyatt. Yet another bleek day passed, winter sleet pounding on the windows as Wyatt, the boy with no name stared ambitiously out of the stone rimmed edges of a window. Knowing his life had a meaning, more to breakfast with fake smiles and no souls. So that night a seed of imagination was planted in the mind of a single life, left to grow and develop to what is now, reality. Years passed, faces grew old but one, at the age of 30 but the face of 18, silent but known widely in different communities as a “Skilled practitioner”. With the little education he had, Wyatt’s incredible mind developed the ability to learn, and understand by using his vision. Watching people do what they do best, and duplicate their exact moves but specific talents like pianism and doctory in areas of surgery. This though all came at a price, as he grew older day by day, his legs gave way. Time after his 32nd birthday he was using his walking stick in . Something he built and developed himself, inside lay a small knife which was detachable from the head. As his respect faded due to his disability he became prone to natural stereotypes and lost his job in the his home regions, within the outskirts of Malimore. Not long after he was banished from the grounds of the town due to doing unnecessary surgery on a healthy patient, causing him to lead a brutal death. No home, no family and no proper recollection of the past left as a weary traveller for people to stare at. With just the walking stick below him and a bag on his back. He halted at a new land, a new face where he could create a new identity for himself, after all he was the boy with no name. What are your characters ambitions?: Yet one goal is created by my character which is to help any helpless soul in order for his own satisfaction and understanding, the ability to learn and help the helpless. His saying, ‘To reject you reality and substitute it with my own!” Which in turn means that any reality can be changed in perspective to make good even better; to tackle evil in his own ways. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: http://i.imgur.com/GuwQ7.jpg Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: All that needs to be said is within the biography and I do not believe there is anything to be added. Only that I am unbelievably poor and have no money what so ever. Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? Passing by his stall, I would take a moment to admire his dedication towards his life, trying to make a decent living for him self and potentially a family which depends on him. Soon after I would seriously consider purchasing something but unfortunately to my knowledge I check my pockets to see what I may be able to afford but I am broke, and all that I have on me is all my possessions. If there is something that rely catches my eye, I would take notice and decide if it is worth haggling for anything and try and trade my backpack for it. This though seems like something I really need and want, maybe for a business opportunity for myself to sell on and make more money in order to pay for rent to live in the city I have just come across. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? As a man with little defence but has only the one weapon of his treasure, the only thing in his possession. But if it was anything he had learnt when staring out of that stone rimmed window at his old orphanage was that reality was subsequent to what ever you made it, and that applied for anyone else. So slowly but surely he would wield the knife in his stick and use stealth to his advantage, trying to make the attacker unknown his his presence. And when that right moment came, if the attacker made a noticeable verbal or physical attack, he would lunge at him and wound him in a place that hurt but would not kill him, which would be known to a doctoring person as himself. Once helping the smaller being out of a apparent shock which he most probably would be in, he would look a little smug whilst putting my weapon back and try to signal a reward was due for my bravery, dependent on if he gives it to me or not he does not care, yet still walk down the pathway, making sure the coast is clear. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: Understanding his pain, my character would collect the coins making sure the old man understood what he was doing to make sure that he knew that he was not being robbed, and whilst he stood up he could assist him further by lending him his walking stick. Eventually when he his up my character would take the man towards a seating area. Then whilst taking back his walking stick he would present the coins back to the man, making a gesture of somewhat signalling a reward may be due, then hoping that he would be paid. But even if this was not to be true and was left empty handed, my character would offer going to the shop and with the old mans money buying a new walking stick, and dependent on how he replied he would do so. Otherwise when he was finished or the man declined his offer. He would walk gently down the pathway looking for yet another adventure to follow.
