I have little else to do at school, even with the computer in front of me. And a phone costs a couple hundred per month. Which I would barely use the phone side of it. I can use a wifi-only device for everything besides calling, texting and connecting outside of wifi range. The calling is solved with house phone, the texting with the gov-paid cell, and wifi range solved with not needing the 4", let alone 7", device.
