You would act upon how they would, not upon what you believe. In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming would be considered when one character brings in outside information in order for them to gain an advantage over other players. For example, using Skype and the forums. In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-emoting is when a character does not give consent to the ones they are attacking. For example a bandit attacks a character, before the character can even scream or shout for help, the bandit kills them. In-Character Details Character Name: Drong Character Race: Dwarf Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Drong was born in the Asulon Mountains. His family hailed from Karik, but they fled hoping to escape the ancient evils lurking in Asulon. His father Thorek was a blacksmith from Karik who worked with his cousin Karud Bar, while his mother Sigrid was a merchant. After a few seasons in the Asulon Mountains, upon expecting their son, Sigrid died on child birth. Drong was her first and only child. After Drong was born, his mother was buried, and his father turned to drinking. As Drong grew up, his father abused him, which in the long run toughened him up for the real world. By the time he was 11 seasons his father had scarred him numerous times, but also taught him life lessons. On Drong’s 15th season, his father taught him the ways of the blacksmithing. Over the years he honed his skills and when he turned 20, he was a talented blacksmith. When he was 23 seasons, a rogue band of elves raided their house. The battle was long and costly and left his father’s arm shattered, from that day he could no longer smith. In later years Drong grew tired of their solitary life in the mountains. He asked his father permission to go back to the city and start his smithing legacy. His dad in his old age was weary of his son returning to the old ways, and denied him time and time again. When Drong turned 26, he and his father got in another heated argument over the subject. And after once again being denied, all of Drong’s bottled rage burst. He stared into his father’s eyes and slammed the door behind him. As he walked away from his aging father, Drong did not care look back. Drong felt a sense of freedom, and that gave him a sense of wonderment and accomplishment. He felt no guilt from the act and proceeded to go back to the city. Upon arriving in the city he decided to renounce his ways to not raise suspicion. At this point in his life he was a taller than average dwarf, strongly built, from years of work around the forges. He was 31 seasons at this point and his scars still curse his body. His beard is quite long, braided neatly with red gems. He always wears his best armor while working to promote business. He works hard to maintain a suitable lifestyle, hoping one day to find his kin. What are your characters ambitions?: To enhance the name of his blacksmithing across the land and to find his kin. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: http://imgur.com/0enXbjn Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Drong is semi known in his corner of the city and is respected by some. He wishes to find a new purpose in life and move to better kingdom. Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I see a poor dwarf merchant trying ,unsuccessfully, to sell his wares. Feeling pity for a fellow dwarf trying to do the same that I wish to do I walk over and say “how long have you been in the city my friend?.” He responded “only a few weeks, and I’ve made very little barely enough to pay my rent”. Feeling sorry for him I handed him a coin purse and said “this may help you get on your feet in this new world you ventured into” (hands him coin purse and proceeds to walk away.) In my exit I hear the sound of drawstrings opening and a quite sob. From behind me I hear a quite but yet audible “thank you” from the shopkeeper. The purse contained 300 Minas. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I see an Orc confronting a fellow dwarf, knowing the grave situation for my brother. I walk up to them and question “What business do ye have with this dwarf?” The orc grunts “This dwarf stole 80 of my minas!” As the dwarf shakes his head and clenches for his life shouting “I did no such thing!” I look to the orc and think and assess the situation. An orc can easily kill us both, no doubt, I had to act in a not violent manner even if the orc was right. “You, orc, we aint here for trouble lad, let the dwarf go and this will make up for lost costs.” I throw him a bag of minas as I walk towards the dwarf and get him to his feet. The orc opens the bag and counts the coins. “You’re lucky dwarf,” he says as walks the other way and he hastily moved to the other direction. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:While I was walking down the road I saw an old man fall and his coin purse fell into the road. Seeing his frail old body and obvious weakness I helped him up, scooped up the minas, and put them back into his hands. “Old man, the roads are not a safe place, the next person might not be so kind.” I then used my axe on a nearby tree and formed a new walking stick. I handed it to him saying “It may be crude but it will get you to where you are going.” He replied “Thank you sir, here is something for your troubles” The man handed me 50 Minas. “thank you sir this is most generous!” He said “good deeds come few and far between nowadays keep it up and you will achieve great things.” He then walked the opposite direction at his slow, yet unwavering pace. He would for sure be attacked, as he turned around, I stood next to him and I saw a grin, “Care for me to join?” I said as I walked with him to his destination.

Feeling pity for a fellow dwarf trying to do the same that I wish to do I walk over and say “how long have you been in the city my friend?”. He responded “only a few weeks , and I’ve made very little barely enough to pay my rent”. I see an Orc confronting a fellow dwarf. Knowing the grave situation for my brother I lurk in the darkness of the tress waiting for the right time to strike. When the violence breaks I wait until the Orc turns his back and I see my moment. Risking my life to save a fellow dwarf I burst from the tress screaming “FOR THE DWARFS!!!” and bash the Orc head from behind. And only together Are we able to overpower the Orc and escape. What does your character do?: While I was walking down the road I saw an old man fall and his coin purse fell into the road. Seeing an opportunity I kick the old man say “the roads are not a place for old men they can be dangerous”. As I pick up the coin purse he mumbles a slur toward me. Feeling his position does not warrant a power stance I turn once again and bash him in the head knocking him out cold. I bend down and whisper in his ear hoping he can still hear me “maybe next time you will remember your manners”. I then continued on my journey.
