It doesn't really matter how much as you bash me or my lore.  I made this at 3-4am.  

It is based off a kelpie, but alot of lore is based off of other things.  

It is based off of one yes, but I thought why not make an event that suits this map, the dwarf area has tons of slimes, so I believed this would fit.

A squelching sound came from the water, as though something was being

crushed.  The lake of the slimes slowly turned green with time, a soft squealing emanating from the water.  Within hours the slimes that managed to get to the rim of the water jumped onto shore, bouncing away in panic.  

The waters churned slightly, a deep sloshing noise could be heard by and nearby folk, for something evil was in the deep.  Something hateful, something dangerous.  

The waters suddenly became completely still, a foul, diseased smell emanated from the water, before something below the surface moved.

At first what appeared to be seaweed or algae floated to the surface, moving towards the shore, however soon a green mass lifted its large body outside of the water, the soft sound of hoofs on shore could be heard along with a soft snort.

A large green horse stood there, regal as could be, its lips a bit longer than they should be.  It breathed softly, inhaling the air as the wind piped up, beginning to dry the beast.

After a while, when it was dry, the creature moved deeper inland, its ears perking at the noise of humans, however one thing was for sure, nothing like this had ever been seen before, yet it wasn’t the only of its kind.  Not in the least, for back in the depths there stirred a larger figure, red eyes surface to watch its child go, and soon, it would return to the depths from which it came.

Origins

They are a variation of horse, that has been around for centuries.  How they were created its unknown, however no known source of documentation was left as no one had run into them before.  Only whispers of horses that ate people had been heard.  Never believed.

What can be verified is that they work like bees, without a hive mind.  Only the ability to communicate much like standard creatures.  With whinnies, nickering, and other horse noises.  This is usually carries through the water as they spend the majority of their life under the water.

Appearance

A sickly green color, these beasts are covered in fur like a normal horse with long green manes.  Each Kreepha has red eyes besides a Matriarch which has blue.  The eyes all have slits

A Kreepha has one innate ability known to all of its kind, as soon as it is able to leave the water in which they call home.  To ooze a slime out of their skin that will keep any victim attached to it.  As well as they are born with the ability to breath under water.

A Matriarch is the size of a Shire horse, whereas the males are the size of Arabians, quite a size difference there.

Each has a set of razor teeth to rip through flesh, or slimes be they stupid enough to enter the water that a herd lives in.

Habitat

Simple, a body of water that is extremely deep.  They prefer to be far out of sight.  If you see a dark pool that you know you can’t see the bottom of, bet theres a herd down there.

Habits

The Kreephas tend to make up small herds, 3-4 males with a single female.  The matriarch, is the one that sends the males out to gather food, a few humans usually sufices for the herd to eat.  As they do graze on kelp and eat other creatures below the water.  However human flesh, that's a treat.

A Kreepha will exit the water, going over to land to search for a human, where it will try to entice an unwary rider onto its back before running to the water and drowning its victim before returning to the herd.

The Matriarch will only leave if she is the last one, however without her, any babies she has will end up dying due to starvation as they are mammals.

How to kill it

This is easy, kill it with an arrow, a sword, its just like a horse, but if you're alone and stuck to it, best to kill it when it enters shallow water.

How to get out of the ooze?

Simple, a 10 minute soak in water will get rid of it!

Can you tame it

It would kill you, or trap you.  Humans are nothing to them, besides food.  So no.

I personally think that dark is what we do need, mainly aussies, we rarely have them on.

Hello, so I just moved to my new house and I am dealing with an annoying problem, the unknown host error.  

I can get on any server besides LOTC, however my roommate, who is using the same router doesn't have this issue.  What do I do?

Clerics shouldn't be allowed to kill, why?  Because for example Megazero murdered a woman out of cold blood and didn't loose his power. 

Other clerics do the same thing.  Yet they claim they can do that without any concequences unlike what I've been told they are allowed to do.

Clerics are op, keep their opness to a minimal.

Jade, you're getting hurt all over something that doesn't need approval.  Whats done is done.  Drop it.  You don't seem to get it.

A shark may eat other sharks, but there are other creatures that eat a shark.  A orca for example.

These creatures are natrual.  I never once said that they where created by man.  

Now drop your pointless argument.

The lore doesn't need you to -1 it, jist never said anything was wrong of it.  I don't see why I can't rp with a creature like this.

Its nature.  So what if a wolfs natural enemy on this map is my lore?  

ITS NOT A WOLF, I'm using Chirr as there is no elvish word for Dog, otherwise it would be called a black serpant dog!  

As well as they are naturally this way.  I didn't breed them, they are native to this land, but nearly became extinct.

So you make a breed of wolf that is meant to kill other wolves?

What exactly is the weakness of these wolves?
They have no fur, so they need to have long fangs, their scales are like snakes, they can be bitten through.  They are subject to cold.
If there are only 4 in existance, how does 3 families have one?
Morgana and catrina are twins
What makes them able to kill other wolves so well?
They are faster, and they have long teeth meant to dig into a wolfs throat.
Since they are a serpent dog mix, how does this make them better than other wolves?
Speed, agility, and attacks.
Who is training them?
Daenes as she has always trained wolves
How, if they are only able to breed with themselves, are there only 4 in existance and where did they come from?
They ended up dying due to their lack of protection.
How are they going to be used other than against others who have wolves?
They are passive pretty much besides seeing other wolves, they obviously would be beat by a lur wolf, no problem.
Since they are not quite "mechanical standard" why should these be accepted by the community when you specifically made 4 over powered wolves meant to kill other wolves specifically? 

These wolves aren't overpowered, as they all have disadvantages.

I'm not really a fan of lore that is only applicable to a handful of people, and you have to go through those people to be apart of it. It's sort of like runesmithing, which I dislike, but at least it is available to most Dwarves that have proven themselves. This is clearly only available to you and your friends, which is wrong.

You can easily just go up to grim or catrina and ask for a puppy.

It is just a special breed, nothing more.  I don't need it to be useful to have one, I've wanted my characters to have one for months, just never made the picture for it.

Also if you didn't understand, these creatures, are meant to kill wolves, they are a wolfs natural enemy.

Athri Barbu'Chirr

Serpant Black Wolf

Description:  A large black grayhound like dog, with an abnormally long neck stretching 3 feet long.  Its tail is half the body length and is kept long to allow it balance when running.  The weight of the dog is about 150lbs.  

It stands up to a standard human’s waist and when on hind legs is almost as tall.  These dogs are covered in large black scales, including on their eyes, which means quite often they shed.  The fangs of the dog are quite sharp, and abnormally long, sticking a small bit out of their mouth.

The underbelly, neck and chin are all covered in large scales similar to a snakes belly allowing the vital areas to be protected.  As the creature doesn’t have any fur this is its main defence, making stabbing a bit harder and making it more able to run than its greatly furred wolf companions.

This breed is made to specifically outrun wolves, its small head and long neck allowing it to see obstacles faster and gives it a better turning time by using its head as well as the tail as a counter weight similar to a dragon.

Habitat:  Athri Barbu'Chirr do not enter snow lands due to their lack of fur, this means that they must remain in deserts, forests, canyons and other places that will not likely snow.  Once a Fenn-Barbu’Chirr does enter a snowy region, they have maybe a day or two before they freeze to death.  

Personality:  You could compare a Athri Barbu'Chirr to a ball python and a pitbull mix.  Being calm of nature unless they are endanger as a ball python is, and loyal as can be similar to a pitbull.  These creatures will only serve one master after they get to the age of one, after that they will die pining if they are left.

Age range:  A Athri Barbu'Chirr lives until they are approximately 30-40 years old.  

Heath Risks:  They tend to suffer hip dysplasia and occasional mouth rot.

Intelligence:  About the same as their wolf counterparts.

Breeding:  Their genes are recessive, thus breeding them with other breeds will not give you a result desired.  You can only breed them with each other to have any traits passed on.

Where to find one:  Currently only the family of Catrina and Morgana has one, as well as Daenes due to the rarity these were the last four left in the fringe.
