Character’s name: Draethar Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Elves (High Elf/Dark Elf) Character’s age: 73 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Draethar's father (Mithntar) was a High Elf that was exiled from the city (Haelun'or) because he fell in love with a beautiful Dark Elf by the name of Asterane. He excelled in the art of arcane magic and was trusted amongst many. Mithntar knew he could not inter-breed but his love for Asterane was too deep. She was a beautiful dark elf that loved to create exquisite paintings. Asterane was also quite fond of Mithntar and she conceived a child with him. This child was later to be known as Draethar. Mithntar thought it'd be safer for the child if no one knew about him, so he kept it a secret from all. Being exiled from the city, Mithntar went on the live with Asterane in the forests near Ker'Nor, where Asterane usually visited. A few years later, Draethar was coming to an age where Mithntar decided it was important to teach him how to use the bow, since there were many dangers in the forest. At that time, The Black Scourge were invading Haelun'or and Mithntar deemed it necessary for Draethar to learn to defend himself. Even though they weren't near Haelun'or, the black scourge could've been passing through those forests. Draethar and his father set out of their camp for a few days so Draethar could learn to fight and use a bow. While they were away, Mithntar decided to leave some arcane puppets with Asterane so he would be able to survey the area. Every night before sleeping and morning when they woke up, he would control one of the puppets to see if Asterane was safe. They went and hunted many of the animals that resided in the forest and when they got back to the camp, Asterane was astounded by how much food they had accumulated. Draethar used the bow everyday as per his father's instructions. A few years after, Mithntar was out and about getting supplies and left Asterane and Draethar alone in their encampment in the forest. Not five minutes or so after he left, an unknown assailant came upon the camp and tried to steal what little supplies they had left, but Asterane wasn't going to let it have it's way, so she attacked it with a sharp stick they used for turning food on a fire, but the assailant was very quick to notice and shot an arrow at Asterane with great skill. Asterane cried out with terror as she fell to the floor, covered in blood. Draethar came out of the tent but was knocked out before he could do anything. Mithntar on the other hand, heard this cryout and raced back to the camp only to find his lover on the floor and no one else around. He quickly went into the tent to see if Draethar was okay, and he was, but was knocked unconscious and was not able to not speak to his father. After a few hours, Draethar woke up and told his father that a large looking creature came out of no where and tried to steal their supplies, but his mom wouldn't let it and it attacked her. Then he got knocked out and now he was here. Mithntar told his son that he was going to go look for the creature and instructed him to stay in the camp. After a few days, Draethar was worried because his father had not returned. Weeks went by and nothing. Draethar went into his parent's chest, where he found a long black/green hooded robe that seemed to look like some magical robe and it smell like his mother so he put it on. There was also a map and some notes that contained information about the area and some cities. Draethar read these notes and mapped out his journey. He was going to head to Haelun'or and look for information about his father. He swore to himself that he would not lose another family member, so he set out on a journey to find his father. Draethar was quite afraid of the outside world because he would usually never leave the camp without his father. Before he left, he took some supplies with him and a book that his father kept. The book was somewhat of a diary that had some explanations of arcane magic that Draethar could not understand and a story of Mithntar's adventures.
