What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - The rule I like most is that you have to have a skin that matches your character. What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is acting differently than you would normally and taking the role of another person. What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is knowing using information you know out of character and using it to your advantage. Example: Player A is a friend of player B and player B OOC tells him that player C plans to murder him. Player A is a metagamer.
What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is making your character overpowered and unbeatable. Example: Player A punches player B. Player B grabs player A's hand before he can punch him. Player A kicks player B. Player B jabs him with a sword before he has the chance. Player B is a powergamer. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. What’s your character called?: - Merek Stronghammer III What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Adunian What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 38 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Merek Stronghammer Jr. was adventurous as a young lad. He was also a decent blacksmith. One day, when he journeyed farther than he ever had from his home at age 16, he met an elven girl. They fell in love, but Merek Jr.'s father and mother were not very fond of non-pure races. They secretly met up occasionally and his parents never found out. At age 21, they had a child and he was named after his father. He looked mostly human, so he wouldn't fit in with the elves. Merek Jr. took care of him in his hometown, Kralta. Eventually his parents found the baby. They asked who's it was, but Merek Jr. didn't answer. After a lot of interrogating, they managed to get him to tell them who's baby it was. They were horrified. They left the town and told him he was no longer their son. His child was named after his father and lived in Kralta. His father told him his mother was killed by wild animals so he wouldn't search for her and be killed in the wilderness. When he was 23, his father finally decided to tell him he was part elf. Merek III never met his mother and when he was 35 years old, his father 56, his father died of old age. For the rest of his life so far, Merek III has lived in Kralta.
