down due to hosting issues, but apart from that I don’t have any roleplaying
experience.
How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?: I’ve heard of this server through the
minecraft forums.

Role-playing:
Role-playing is the act of creating a character and then stepping into that
character’s shoes. All of your interactions in the given world will be made by
that character and not by the player himself.
Meta-gaming:
Meta-Gaming is the act of utilizing knowledge that the player knows (but that
the character being role-played as does not) to gain an advantage or to perform
an action that the character could not perform without said information.
Power-emoting:
This is the act of roleplaying and forcing other people to perform another
action without any freedom in the role-play, For example explicitly claiming
that you decapitated another playing without him being able to dodge, run away
or being able to change the final outcome.

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Leras was born in a town bordering the sea, to the east of solace. His mother died in
childbirth so the task of raising Leras fell to his father Rodel Timas: an alchemist that
specialized in the field of medicine and healing.
When he was a child of roughly 6 years old he had a tendency for voicing his thoughts,
and he did this regularly causing him to alienate most of the children of his
age causing him to spend his early years by himself, making him silent and
bitter for a child.
Rodel in an attempt to distract him tried to engage him into something that would pull
his mind away from his brooding, and so introduced him to books, teaching him
to read and write and to his very surprise found that Leras thrived in
literature and so he stayed in the company of stories, alchemical texts and his
father’s constant presence.
When he turned 9 years old his father started sending him on errands to the outskirts
of his town and to the forest to collect useful things for his work. This was
when he started to enjoy his visits to the forest wandering through the
canopies that cast shadows upon the ground.
For his thirteenth birthday Garson a carpenter and his father’s friend gave him the
gift of a small hunting bow. This caused him to take an interest in archery and
this helped to strengthen Leras who was very weak compared to most boys of his
age.
By the age of fourteen he had already begun hunting on his frequent herb gathering
trips and his father welcomed the stray wild chicken or small pig that he
sometimes managed to catch. He also made considerable advances in his studies
already managing to treat lesser ailments by himself by his sixteenth birthday.
His life continued in this way being slightly monotonous advancing in his studies and
moving on from healing to other branches of alchemy as well as minor studies in
cartography and history.
Around the time he turned 19 years old he had exhausted everything his father had to
teach him, and mostly sat in his home aiding his father and making occasional
forays into the forest. At this time Leras felt restless and yearned to go see
more than his modest town could offer.
When he finally told his father of his plans to leave and learn of what the world could
teach him, to his surprise he found that he gave him his blessing as well as a small sum
of money to help him on his way. So Leras armed with his alchemical knowledge
and his forest lore set out on his way to find knowledge and purpose in his life.
Ambitions
for the Future: Leras wants to succed in his life hoping to accumulate more knowledge
and experiences than his humble beginnings could offer him.
Personality: He is an inquisitive individual that is silent and slightly bitter, which is a
holdover from his childhood however this does not lead him to not enjoying his life in fact
he takes great joy in little things and even thouth he is not a very sociable person, those that
happen to find his way into his trust will discover that he is a very caring person in spite of his
faults.

Appearance

with blue eyes and black hair that is short in the front and longer in the
back. He is quite fit with his time spent hunting in the forest although he is
still quite pale from not getting enough sunlight.
He tends to wear dull colors like black, green or brown but his favorite piece of
apparel is a black shirt and pants with brown leather boots as well as a green
cloak that he treasures very much.

Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily
making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good.
There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer:
While walking through the capital taking in the diverse and alien scenery he
manages to catch a glance of a dark figure that is acting suspiciously, making
his way through the crowds. He quickly decides that he doesn’t like the look of
what he thinks is a man and quickly makes his way to tip off a guard about what
he saw.
2.
Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in
which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed
with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear
to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword,
how do you react?
Answer:
Walking contently across an ancient forest Leras spots between a break in the
trees two bandits threatening an old man. Remembering his father’s honorable
work he decides to take action and decides to efficiently take out the bandits
by climbing a tree and making his way through a thick branch to get the drop on
the bandits and hopefully eliminate them both with little risk to the old man.
3. You
are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man
standing behind a colorful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the
man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just
about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to
haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of
choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: Intrigued by this colorful stall Leras
stops by the stall and decides to purchase some expensive medicine to help stop
an infection, a dozen arrows for his quiver as well as a good quality knife.
After some intense haggling over the expensive medicine they manage to decide
on a fair price for it and then he pays the price offered by the stall keeper
on the rest of the items.
EDIT: For some strange reason I cannot post on the minecraft forums I press the post button and it says saving post but after that nothing happens ive tried relogging and refreshing the page but nothing will work.
I will keep on trying but I'l have to see if I can find a solution.
