Posco has a change of heart and instead votes for the delicious sandwich he just ate. 

I'm more than educated on all of those posts, I even contributed a ton to much of the information found in those. I can recite most of it from memory.

 

 

However much of that doesn't apply to the new town and new world we are currently in. If the new mayor needs to abide by laws and such, where does a person even find that information? Those posts are full of great RP info, but have not been updated in quite a long time.

I lived in Summerset and Lenfarthing for years.. and currently it seems like there is no information or help in regards to the halfling community right now.  Every time I enter the town I have a pretty crap experience. So far its kept me and a couple others away since the 3.5 shift and I keep getting messages about contributing to the group as a whole. Right now I don't even want to be around it.))

I believe this has been tried already, with results being walls made of pure cannon. It was believed to be a massive failure. So, let's not repeat history.

You can just about join whatever family you want in the Halflings, I don't think anyone would mind having another family member kicking about (though there are like seventy Willowswamps and Willowbottoms). I think Lenfarthing burning down was about 6 or 7 years ago, buuuuut we don't care too much about continuity so you could probably get away with any backstory. 

I just want to point something out in "Rich's RP Laws" It says:

 

X- Improper Hobbits are are to be shunned until they change to proper Hobbits. 

 

This directly conflicts with the following rule:

 

XI- Change must and always will be shunned.

 

So according to said rules, Improper Hobbits are always to be shunned. Because if they change, they break law #XI, but if they don't they break law #X.

XII- Never question the judgment of a Halfling

Former Occupation: Car salesman and general bag of sleaze 

Short Backstory (Optional) Wally's life could, and often has, be likened to that of a rat. You'd be hard pressed to find someone not stricken by his resentment for all things clean and squeaky, his stocky stature, and particularly stunning dedication to lies, plots, and figurative weasel behavior. A conniving car salesman through and through, the whole apocalypse disposition has helped him hone and truly achieve unseen levels of backstabbery and boorishness. 

Anything Else: Winner of the great 87' hot dog eating competition.

Posco sways about, blinking and mumbling to himself. He pauses for a moment then sluggishly sticks his hand into his pocket, and fishes out a bag of minas. The little drunk Halfling slowly hands the bearded man the bag, and proceeds to stumble about the area, mumbling something under hi breath and swatting at the air.

Never one to turn down a drink (free or other wise) Posco happily takes a jug, laughing a cheery little Halfling laugh all the while. Not long after taking his sample, Posco hands back the empty jug and chuckles.

"We .. well 'ha' ain' -hic- bad fer a Biggun ale! Anuder un fer thirsty ol' Posco 'eh?"

Elder Posco lazily reads through the letter, then pausing for a moment before speaking to himself (a bad hobbit of his huehuehue)

"Well if 'e's any ting like 'is name sugges's, I don' tink we wan' a blue fellah livin' in Te Dales . . . course I don' know te fellah, could be a righ' steady chum. I'll 'ave 'o mee' 'im for I say anythin'."

I'll take a crack at it, but I was going for a bit of an entry, and set back look.

It looks nice, but it's way too big for what we're probably gonna have in 4.0

The burrows in 4.0 will probably just be smaller versions of the ones we have now.

((Because there weren't enough active halflings, and if you were active you would have already known this. ;) Plus there was very good RP reasoning behind it all, and Gamle is a halfling at heart.))

((Nah it's just 'cause Gamle is the chillest perfume using dwarf. Now 'nuff OOC))

Posco chuckles, sipping his Willowbottom Cider, as he watches Gamle hide in the brewery.

     I made a nice little in game render of Picasso, I mean uh... Posco's map in the actual current 4.0 cloud temple island. I used 2x2 pumpkings to give a little bit of scale.
