*Walks around Abresi, checking on his posters before finding a note. He nods to himself, reading over the note. He ponders, recalling the name. He takes a heavy sigh, slowly ripping down the posters while leaving one poster up with a reply; " Accepted - Will leave shipment in stock area of village! " *And hurries himself back towards Shadowvale.*
-
*Varrick walks around Abresi putting up posters on various posts and walls of certain shops*

Out-Of-Character Information Please fill out the following questions as accurately as possible, and ensure the essential details are accurate. Minecraft Account Name: Grim_Reaper_91 How old are you?: I am in my 30s. Time-Zone: GMT Also tend to play on PST aswell. Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: Aye. What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: Well, I've spent past 10+ years roleplaying through table-top games, DnD, WoW, NWN, Minecraft, GW and Rift, the list is quite endless of what games I've roleplayed on. My best experience was actually writing the Lore for a couple of Minecraft servers, world event hosting in WoW on the Argent Dawn server for four years. How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: I heard about it from my friend, Mick_Mack. Link any applications that you have previously made for the server: None. Have you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then please do so (link above): There we go, done it. Here's the link; http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/832121-the-lord-of-the-craft-enter-the-world-of-anthos-officially-t-h-e-1-roleplay-server/page__st__2920 Have you read the Human lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?: Aye, slowly learning. Quite the interesting read. Definitions In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!: Role-playing: This is a bit of trick question, each day we roleplay. Some don't see it that way, yet their is truth to this. Each play a role within the real-world without even noticing it! Roleplay in it's true form is about being creative and showing respect to others ideas, it's completely endless! That feeling of roleplaying the daily life of a farmer, getting into the role so much, you forget your own name. To be able to fully dsecribe roleplay. Honesty, no true possible answer as roleplay is endless in both wording and form. Meta-gaming: Meta-Gaming is handing out information to your character by what you've heard on a OOC-Out of Character level, for example. OOC Player A; "I heard Dwarves of Ironhills are going to you attack your kingdom mate!" *OOC Player B turns IC=In-character* "We, the humans of the North will not take this lightly and muster all forces against the Dwarven invasion!" - Quite simply, transferring IC information from a OOC level is completely against Roleplay in every regard. Changing your character for OOC reasons is a break of the founding rule of Roleplay itself. Power-emoting: Power-Emoting, or " God Emoting " as it's known aswell. It when someone is breaking the trust barrier of fair-roleplay to achieve their own goals by breaking the bonds of their character. For example, Tom here is just a simple farmer, his entire life in peace without any combat experience then suddenly one night... He becomes the God-Emporer of all Mankind with a Mighty Fortress raised as high as the sky, all built by him and also for odd reason, appears to be firing light bolts from his backside and one hitting everyone. This is just a brief example of some Power-Emoting. When someone wants to be the center of attention. It also applies to injuries and aging, some people just don't want their characters to be hurt, yet sign up to the army and expect to leave a battle without any wounds or minor cuts and grazes and for aging, just simply wanting to keep roleplaying their character as a child or an old man that doesn't age. It's all different forms on Power-Emoting. In just a simple term, it's basically just show decent respect to your fellow roleplayer and treat them as you would expected be treated in combat emoting. Don't overdo it, unless their is actual roleplay reason. Such as a Farmer wouldn't stand a chance against a soldier without any combat experience, yet still might manage to hit the soldier. It all comes down to characters and how they are roleplayed. In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character: Full Name: Varrick (No surname, as I hope Varrick will earn one through roleplaying.) Current Age: 31. Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Varrick was raised outside the town of Westport in a small farming community with his childhood friend Aria Vale. When he was young, he served Aria's father as a farmhand, tending to the fields during the harvest season and helping out in general with minor repairs and the needs for logging. As time progressed and Varrck had grown from a boy to a man. He was trusted enough by her father to begin taking their stock to sell at the market in Arethor as he was begining to age and couldn't travel the long-distance as much as he used to. After spending so many years working under her father, he decided to leave the community for sometime and travel as Aira finally arrived into adulthood, handing over the duty of the farm to her. During his time away, he traveled back to the city of Arethor to seek out some long-term work as an experienced worker by labouring through out the city. After hearing news of Aria's Mother passing away and her father leaving the farm to Aria. He thought over of what to do next. After another letter from her, he couldn't live with himself to leave his old friend during her time of need and decided not to write back to her. Instead decided to make the long travel back to the community and aid with the construction of a new home and hopefully, build a home of his own closeby. Ambitions for the Future: To join the army, getting combat experience so he can defend the home and family he wants so badly. Personality: Varrick personality, is what most would say. Odd at most. When speaking to someone for a long period of time, his mind will often wander and he'll walk off, looking at a plant that has caught his attention or even ask the simplest of questions. He's not a smart person by any means. Yet he seems to have nack for tactics, rusing them into the season changes yet without any experience he struggles how to push his ideas forward. At best, he is known to be a simple fellow yet smart in some regards. Skills: He's main skill is probable the ability to continue working through the night, even despite the rumours of such bandits and other-worldly things which lurk there. He's an experienced farmhand though he's true skill lies within wood itself. He's a handy-man when it comes to manual labour. Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): (Says I lack permission for screenshot, though here is the link; http://imgur.com/c35TU6r ) Varrick is a tall man, wearing poor clothing which is ripped and messy. He has bright-red hair and a fluffy beard to show his age. Grass stains all over his trousers. Quite the scruffy man by even the standards of poor folk. Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point. ____ 1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do? Answer: Varrick stares at the man, slowly studying over his clothing as he attempts to make a judgement. Being one of slow mindness, before he thinks up as how to react, the dark-clothed figure has already gone. He blinks widely and rubs the back of his head, muttering to himself. "How much have I drunk...?" 2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react? Answer: While out woodcutting, Varrick spots smoke going into the air from near his location. He decides to see where it's coming from. After a few minutes of walking towards the smoke he sees an old man, grasping a heavy sword, he's hands shaking from the weight of it and two armed bandits threatening and shouting at the old man to give up. Lurking in the bushes closeby, he dwells on how he help. Then suddenly, he spots an odd flower he hasn't seen in sometime behind himself. Getting completely distracted, he turns his attention to the flower and admires it's beauty. After some hours past, Varrick finally returns to reality and leaps from the bushes only to find the old man lying on the ground, life gone from his body. He feels anger burning deep within him and decides to enter the cottege to see if the bandits are still here. Upon entering, the entire cottege is looted and a small fire is spreading. Making the best of this chance, he looks around for any mugs or kicten ware to take back and flees the scene before more appear. 3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens). Answer: Varrick stands in amazement at the variety of items for sale on the man's stall. He stands proudly, like a pillar of stone for many hours just observing all the fine items which lay upon the stall. The man continues speaking to Varrick, explaining where and how he obtained such items, Varrick yet still doesn't reply to the man, staring off into a world of his own for many hours. It soons approaches night and the man begins to pack up his stall. Varrick blinks and looks down at the man, opening his mouth as he speaks in his normal horsed tone of voice. "Ehm.... Excuse me... How much for that piece of gravel?" He points towards a piece of gravelstone laying on the ground beside the stall. The man looks up at Varrick in complete confusion replying "That's just a rock, young man. It doesn't belong to me." Upon hearing this, Varrick smiles happily, leaning over and picking up the rock and leaving a carrot on the stall. He walks off slowly, humming a tune as he feels proud to obtaining something new.
