Definitions
In your own words
define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: The
player acts as his character. For
example, if someone created a human drunk, they would use speech such as “Ye,
do lo’k foine t’day! Hic!”
Meta-gaming: I know that
this server has a plugin that basically allows you to find all a character’s
info by shift right clicking them. If you met a person with a skin that looks
old but you shift right clicked him and saw he was actually 20, you could not
abuse this information and say “You look old for your young age!”
Power-emoting: Instead
of saying you do something, instead attempts. Instead of saying *Disarms (other
players name)* say *Attempts to disarm (player’s name’s). This makes for
fantastic RP.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be
answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
1. Whilst in the mighty human
capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: “I go up to the man and ask him what he was doing.” The man
responds, “None of your business boy, move along.” I would then try to persuade
him to tell me. “Fine. I was planning on asking the king for some lower taxes.”
*he reveals a knife* “If things got…. Messy, I was planning to use this.” “Oh,”
I say, “Good luck with that when the guards come.” I then shout for the guards.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you
come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable
old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: I calmly and quietly move towards the bandits. One immediately
turns around and says “Get out of here! This is none of your business!” I
calmly respond “And what kind of business is this? Holding swords at a poor old
man?!” One quickly approaches me. I draw my longsword and quickly cast a
illusion over my blade to make it look like it is flaming. “Leave, you fools
before I have to use this!” The two bandits turn their heads around and start
running for the hills.
3. You are standing within the
mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of
general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: “Hello, that is a nice tome!” I say. “Ah yes!
This is from a nearby village telling about their water magics!” I consider
haggling with him and I notice his clothes are a bit dirty and old. I pity him
and give him a generous off. “I will give you 50 minas for it!” He begins to
sob happily. “Thank you sir! Thank you so much!”
