Jaya Jayamen's Piano Academy

(You must join the academy for the free lessons. If you just want to learn a song or two and not join the academy, each song lesson costs 40 Minas)

Here at Jaya Jayamen's Piano Academy, we offer Free lessons for those that join the academy. Joining the academy simply means you are interested in learning the piano. we offer free lessons for beginners to experts on playing either a Grand Piano, or a Grand Master Piano. ((These are actually playable in-game, you can play songs with them.)) It is easy to learn, even with no musical skill, though that helps. There are 10 ranks that someone can get at this academy. For Grand Piano players, Beginner, Novice, journeyman, advanced, and teacher. For Grand Master Piano players, Beginner, Novice, journeyman, advanced, and teacher.

Beginner

This rank is given to those just starting at either of the pianos, when you get the basics down, then you move to Novice.

Novice

At this level you can play simple songs, get the timing right, and are working towards more complex ones.

Journeyman

At this level you can play complex songs, have the timing right, and are working towards being able to improvise as you play.

Advanced

At this level you can play advanced songs and also improvisation.

Teacher 

Journeyman to Advanced students can also teach if given permission by Jaya Jayamen.

We also can have our students form bands. if you are interested, please let Jaya Jayamen know what type of pianos you need and he will set them up at the school. if you need music to perform, you can ask Jaya to help make a few songs.
 

Want to perform a concert? Just ask Jaya and he will set up the stage for it, as well as a time and date if wanted. Tickets can also be for sale for it if wanted and you'll earn some of the minas.

The Piano Store

The Band

I am trying to make a band to perform at the theatre. We need two pianists, and Two drummers. ((we willl be playing noteblock music. for an example of how it would sound see the duet video above. a song will be like that and have a beat as well.)) No prior musical experience needed. Learning to play should be easy. even a simple rhythm can do a lot for a song. If you are interested in joining or making your own band, please let me know.

the Theatre

We are looking for acts and performances to play at the theatre. You may charge what you like for tickets. a quarter of the ticket sales goes to me, the rest goes to you. if you have a good act or perfomance, please let me know. we can get a time and date for you to perform. We will need to know how many elven minutes the performance is as well as how much you wish to charge for tickets per person. Ask Jaya Jayamen (( Sofetios )) any questions.

Sofetios

**Description**
When I make a new shop with a written book for sale, after the restart it shows 0 stock even though there are written books  in the chest.

**Date of occurance**
Last restart, 8:00 AM EST

**In game specifications**
I play on Jaya Jayamen, that is the persona i was on. the place where i saw this bug occur was at my shop at 3 adrains avenue in santegia. Odlyh enough the old slab shops with written books work fine,its just new ones that reset to 0 on restarts.

**Steps to Reproduce**
1. Make a new chestshop.

2. put in a written book. 

3. set up a slab to sell the book

4. check slab to make sure it says the correct number in stock.

5. wait for a restart.

6. check stock again to see it shows as 0.

**Expected Behavior**
after a restart it should stay with the correct number of written books in stock.

**Actual Behavior**
the new shop item shows 0 after each restart.

**Additional Information**
I just want to note that my old slab shops work fine, its new ones that i create that experience this bug.

**Error Message**
no error message, just the 0 where the actual number should be.

The Fiction Bookstore

Come over to the first floor of our building, The Fiction Bookshop and Logic Challenge shop! Here we have Chapters of novels in the genres of Adventure and Horror. we also carry philosophical books and poetry. Prices range from 30 Minas to 60 Minas. I'll be adding more to the novels as time goes on, as well as add single book entrees as well. If you like my writing please let me know! It helps me write more even faster.

The Logic Challenge Shop

Think of yourself having a sharp mind? want to test your skills for a reward if you beat it? Try one of our Code breaking Challenges. There are four levels, level 1, 2, 3, and 4. Level 1 is the easiest and it goes to level 2 being harder than level 1, to level 3 being even harder, to level 4 being the hardest. The objective is to decipher the code that is in each challenge and to get the message hidden within. If you manage to be one of the first five to decipher a certain code you will get double what you payed for it back as a reward for deciphering that code. Level 1 codes cost 20 Minas, level 2 codes costs 40 Minas, level 3 codes cost 60 Minas, and level 4 codes cost 80 Minas.

The Event Room

This Room will be used for various events, whether it be a code breaking challenge, a poetry reading, or a philosophical discussion, there will be something different to do hopefully each elven day. there is seating for 15, first come, first serve. To see if there is an event planned, please look at the event board in front of the store. ((the board will have the time and date of the next event. Times are in EST (Eastern United States time* There may be prizes and/or free items to those who attend.

At The Readers nook, one can find a good space for reading, relaxing, and talking with one another. we also hold poetry readings, speakers, and literature based things every once in a while. Feel free to come up, have some bread and water, and relax. If there is a poetry reading or an event, it will be listed on the Event Board in front of the store.

I am also looking for someone or some people who would be interested in playing the piano with me regularly. ((note block piano, see bottom of this post for example videos describing it.)) We would have two or more pianos, a normal one, a bass one, and possibly a wind one((Flute sound)) and a pluck one((guitar sound)). I am looking for someone or some people who would want to play one of those pianos with me together at different events and in regular concerts. No prior experience is needed as i can somewhat easily teach you what is needed, though being musically inclined helps. We will need to practice the songs we play which can vary from easy to hard based on the song, but the end result we make will definitely be worth it. I, Jaya Jayamen am looking for 2 or 3 people to be a part of a musical group. We will be playing pianos that have different sounds together to create songs. I am looking for anyone who is interested, and even more so if you are musically inclined. If you don't know how to play, i can teach you. Practicing songs will take time and effort, but the end result should be spectacular! I have an open spot for 2 to 3 pianists. Any chance my suggestion, The bard Plugin, will be worked on? it was accepted a while ago in the old plugin idea forum.

The bug I would want fixed the most would be the Written books in player shops. What happens with it is when you have a slabshop with written books, every time there is a restart, the stock for the slabshop shows as 0 even if there are written books in the shop chest.  If this is still a bug i hope it is fixed next!

The Gamers Guild

Located in San Adrian in the Square, run by Jaya Jayamen ((Sofetios))

The Gamers Guild is a group of individuals with a liking of competition in games and for those who want to test their skills at ranked matches.  There are Three levels that one can attain in this guild. those are Junior, Senior, and Varsity. Want a Challenge? Want to test your wits and mind? Join The Gamers Guild today!

We currently play, 4 in a row ((connect 4)), Catapult((mini battleship)), Checkers, Poker, Tic tac Toe, DUEL(A strategy game), and Pico (A card game).

Junior

Junior members have access to the Guild Rooms which are rooms that can be lived in. Junior members can earn 8 Tickets an elven day. Tickets are gained by winning games against someone else and are worth 5 minas of product from Jaya Jayamen's House of Entertainment. A junior member starts out with a 100 ranking.

Senior

Senior Members have access to to the Utility room, can get 12 tickets an elven day and have access to the poker room and the poker event. The Poker event happens once every elven week and you use tickets to bet. To be a Senior Member, you need at least a 200 ranking. This rank gets all the privileges of this rank and the lower one.

Varsity

Varsity Members are very skilled gamers. To get this rank you need a 300 Ranking or more. Varsity members get 10 free tickets every elven week. This rank gets all the privileges of this rank and the lower ones.

Moderator

In addition to the three levels of ranks, a member can be a moderator. moderators know how games work, and are fair when moderating ranked matches. to become one, just ask Jaya Jayamen ((Sofetios))

Teams

There are two teams you can decide to be on, red, blue, yellow, or purple. each team is against each other in games. There will be a great prize to the team whose top 5 players points beats the other teams top 5 players points.

I am looking for someone who is willing to play the piano with me in a duet and solo at times. I have tinkered with the thought before and believe it possible to do. I am looking for either a person new to the piano to join me and i'll teach them to play and give them a piano for free, or someone who already knows how to play and them joining me playing at places.  I aim to perform with whoever joins me at my entertainment house and possibly in diferent cities and events. Piano Lessons, pianist, and Pianos

As a side business we also sell Piano lessons 50 Minas a song, Grand Pianos 150 Minas a piano with free tuning for life, Grand Master Piano lessons at 150 Minas a song, and Grand master pianos for 350 Minas a piano with free tuning for life. Jaya Jayamen is also available to play for you at an event or wherever needed for 10 Minas an elven minute. Grand Piano lessons will be taught at the public piano. Grand Master Piano lessons will be taught at the stage piano.

The Bookshop

The bookshop has books that have been written by members of the Jayamen Family. from action adventure stories, to horror stories, to philosophy books, to the Journal, we have a good selection. The shop is closed until our printing press is fixed. this is located on the lowest level of the building.

The Lone Tree Journal

The Journal is a ongoing community Paper made from various works from the community. We are looking for writers, storywriters, poets, philosophers, and others to contribute their works. Anything could get in the Journal, we do hold the right to not put a work in the Journal. Works will be paid for based on quality. 10-50 minas. Our headquarters is located on the lowest level. for more information please contact Jaya Jayamen ((Sofetios))

The Games Room part 1

Part one of The Games Room is located one floor below the ground floor. It has a good variety of games to play, such as tic tac toe, connect 4, DUEL (A strategy game), Catapult, Poker, and Pico tables (a card game). If you need to know the rules or want to play a game, please let a staff member know. We also will have game tournaments here! Also every game you win, you get a ticket worth 5 minas worth of product whether it is a service or item, be it food, drink, a book, etc.  A maximum of 4 tickets an elven day can be earned. Members of The Gamers Guild can earn up to 8 an elven day.

The Public Room Stage

This is where acts and performances will take place. it could be anything from a pianist, a comedian, an act of some sort, poetry reading, a piano duet, and anything else you can think of. It is an open stage meaning you are allowed to perform as long as you cause no problems. This stage will sometimes be reserved for acts the building hires and also acts that wish to perform here. the stage is free to use by the public as long as no problems arise.

The Gamers Guild

This is for people who enjoy games and want to get competitive about it. Gamers Guild members participate in Ranked games, each person will start out with a ranking of 100. each time you beat someone at a ranked game, you get 1/10 the opponents ranking points. There will be prizes, competitions, tournaments, and more.  Each Member must play at least 2 Ranked games an Elven week.

There are available rooms for living in for the gamers guild members. you must not already have a home to get one.

First place gets a whopping 500 Minas! The Restaurant

The Resraurant is located on the ground floor and has  plenty of seating and bar access. We also have a piano for performers to play at while you eat. The Menu is limited right now, as our printing press is broken, so all menus will be shorter and hand written. If you are a pianist or an aspiring pianist, please talk to Jaya Jayamen, as we are trying to hire a pianist or two to perform at the restaurant regularly. We can also teach how to play the piano here for anyone wanting the positions. We are looking for 1 chef, 2 waiters, 2 hosts, and 2 guards for this part.

Piano Lessons, pianist, and Pianos

As a side business we also sell Piano lessons 50 Minas a song, Grand Pianos 150 Minas a piano with free tuning for life, Grand Master Piano lessons at 150 Minas a song, and Grand master pianos for 350 Minas a piano with free tuning for life. Jaya Jayamen is also available to play for you at an event or wherever needed for 10 Minas an elven minute. Grand Piano lessons will be taught at the restaurant piano. Grand Master Piano lessons will be taught at the stage piano.

The Readers Nook

The Readers Nook is located on the basement floor. This is a hangout for people who enjoy literature. people here can recite poetry, tell stories, or speak on a subject they have in mind. its an open stage. Trouble makers and subjects that will cause problems are not allowed. It is also a good place to get something to eat and drink. We are looking for 2 chefs, 2 waiters, and 2 guards for this part.

The Bookshop

The bookshop has books that have been written by members of the Jayamen Family. from action adventure stories, to horror stories, to philosophy books, to the newspaper, we have a good selection. The shop is closed until our printing press is fixed.

The Games Room part 1

Part one of The Games Room is located on the second floor. It has a good variety of games to play, such as tic tac toe, catapult (a guessing game), DUEL (A strategy game), and Pico tables (a card game). If you need to know the rules or want to play a game, please let a staff member know. We are hiring game 3 game staff, which are people who learn how to play the games and are willing to teach others. they will also hand out game pieces and if you win a game, tickets. We also will have game tournaments here! We also are hiring 2 guards for this part. Also every game you win, you get a ticket worth 5 minas worth of product whether it is a service or item, be it food, drink, a book, etc. You also can use these tickets at the poker table to play. A maximum of 4 tickets an elven day can be earned. Members of The Gamers Guild can earn up to 8 an elven day.

The Games Room part 2

Part 2 of The Games Room in located on the third floor. It has a checker board, and doubles as a stage for game competitions that people can watch. There will be game competitions hosted here. there is also a general game and hangout table outside.

The Games room part 3

Part 3 of The Games Room is located on the 4th floor. there is a poker table, An overall rankings board, and a Leaderboard for games in general.

The Games Room Stage

This is where acts and performances will take place. it could be anything from a pianist, a comedian, an act of some sort, poetry reading, and anything else you can think of. It is an open stage meaning you are allowed to perform as long as you cause no problems. This stage will sometimes be reserved for acts the building hires and also acts that wish to perform here.

The Gamers Guild

This is for people who enjoy games and want to get competitive about it. Gamers Guild members participate in Ranked games, each person has an overall ranking from all the games and a ranking for each game individually. There will be prizes, competitions, tournaments, and more.  Each Member must play at least 2 Ranked games an Elven week.
