  1. After several PvP situation tests with the charge... it's dead content. The charge up time makes you unable to move and results in you being beat down few hearts of health before the charge itself even happened. It might have a slight use in warclaims when there's a mass of people that don't look about, but it also makes sound, allowing others to know  what's coming. So in a nutshell, i highly doubt that even 10% orcs will use it. The idea in itself is quite fun though, i must say. Hope to see some improvements to it over time.

    Also: I've heard that any % above 25% velocity was pointless in pvp?

    It could drop in all biomes but it won't change the fact that it's way more difficult to get a hold of them compared to iron and coal.

    Once more, if you have actual complaints other than "i dont deal as much dmg" why don't you suggest the mats. for archer kits be easier to acquire? Perhaps lower rope oil's crafting level, make thornbark easier to acquire and so on. 

    Ah... mounts... yes, he had that topic aswell. Ever heard of dismounting arrows? That's like a lance flying at your face. Any melee troop can shoot one at an occupied archer's face and pretty much stuff him in the ground. It doesn't require a good bow or archer gear to shoot, and it takes one shot to make you free game. 100 blocks? Players don't display from further away than 50 blocks, not to mention that people move, i've served as a sniper for two years in the millitary and i can confirm that hitting a moving target that runs around in zigzags from this far is not something that you can do with your eyes closed. And we're talking about arrows, not bullets. You can easily see an arrow comming and just put up a shield, i've done it myself and it has saved my skin hundreds of times since shields literaly force the arrow to bounce off. Bows take time to charge up, you can't spam it, the melee troop runs while you charge, sees the arrow comming, blocks and does it all over again, if you stop shooting, he'll come even faster, if you don't, he'll get to you eventually by just blocking your arrows.

    If you want facts, alright. Dragonscale equipment. Requires recipes, dragonscales which are only optainable from mobs as a rare drop in a desert biome. Takes masterful leatherworker to craft, and ends up taking literal ages to prepeare and make in general. Then we have melee. Way more tanky, and your avarage blacksmith could spit out iron sets like candy in few hours if not less. Me and our little archer group had quite the conversation about this. You take literal days to get a decent archer set because the percentage on them is so random. (I can literaly get 5% iron studded top at aengulic on common bacis) you put in this much effort yet you can still be easily taken out by someone that's armor doesn't need to be made over and over again to get decent percentage. Archers that make their own equipment are far from rewarded for all the effort we put in our gear. Compare best in slot weapons alone. Black ferrum. Requires windswept staff and black ferrum (iron and coal) to thornbark bow. Thornbark, drops from trees only in desert biome. Rope oil for threatened rope, requires chef, not to mention the branches and cloth. I'd say that melee equipment is way too easy to aquire compared to proper archer equipment so you wouldn't dish out completely trash damage.

    And now you're quite literaly making things up. I never claimed to be a pro. And you clearly lack experience at this in general, concidering that archery is way easier to dodge than melee. Do proper research first before assuming. You also appear to have forgoten shields that quite literaly force all arrows to bounce off and couse 0 damage.

    Because if you'd nerf melee, the melee community will rage to get archery nerfed even more. It will just be a circle of nerfs with no end. We'd either end up one shotting each other or dealing half a heart with any weapon.

    My current set is 56% and to someone in iron armor with a power 1 bow i do 4 damn hearts. While any melee with a decent black ferrum axe can two shot me even if my set is full prot.

  8. R.I.P archery. Now archers not only will get two shot by melee, they'll also be shooting feathers that do 4 hearts of damage in a good archer set. Glass cannons became glass cups. Melee now is both more damage output and more defence. Pity that all of my skills are for making archery gear which will be rendered useless. sigh
