  1. There's far too many rules and variables to them all as it is. A dude's in full plate perception isn't as great, but what if he raises his visor? A projectile can range from a scrawny shortbow shot that'd bounce off armor or a full longbow shot that'd have far more kick behind it than the previous, are we to enforce longer emotes over the type of bow? Keep it simple. Common sense and logic go a long way, as long as the combatants aren't tearing each other OOC'ly, it'll never be an issue. You can't enforce every part of combat with rules.
  2. What's cookin', good lookin'?

  3. The Doctor sat in his wilderness hideout, watching a potted flower on a table withered, his gilded gaze wandered downwards as he'd reach up to remove his skull-shaped metal mask, grabbing his trusty skinning knife from his side, carving a mark inside the mask, another among many others as he'd look towards the dying flower once more, releasing a lengthy sigh
  4. Cleaver merely sits in silence upon hearing of his father's fall, grinning moments later "Tha' me pops. N' mattah how ol', he died jus' like he promised. Axe een hand, choppin' shoit een half." he'd reach for a nearby tankard, raising it one final time in the honor of his legend of a father
  5. People themselves are a big chunk of it, yes, but quite often how the lore's designed can render people to be seen as 'frustrating' and such. Back when i was an undead, i've had good relationships OOC'ly, of course with both ascended and clerics, IC we were mortal enemies, but it didn't hold each of the communities from throwing crap at one another, calling each other toxic and such. There's bad apples in every basket. Necromantic community isn't the only one nor is the one with most "frustrating people". Far from it.
  6. Last time we did that, fate, we ended up falling into those holes more themselves than anyone else since the gates were always closed. Besides, remember when we lured a cleric near our cave? He somehow solo'd 8 of us IRP for half a hour. Bad Kary. Bad.
  7. I don't think undead were ever strong enough to compete with nations with solid militaries, and that's what you're dealing with half the time. God forbid you'd catch someone on the roads, five minutes later half the nearby nation's military shows up and you get PvP'd. Besides, i've tried the whole "make them afraid" tactic. It just ends up with more people wanting you dead and just trying to hunt you down in larger and larger groups. The whole "protag" thing that was mentioned above is quite common.
  8. Darkstalker Sentinel glares up from the hell Flam's shelf sent him down to Jokes aside, i don't think that undead will ever be more than the occassional pest or something for people to expect stubling into town. Necromancers? Maybe. But darkstalkers or ghouls are stuck. No matter if one's to play a for some reason peaceful darkstalker or a hostile one, due to how LOTC is, everyone wants to be a hero. Let a wyvern into a city, people won't flee but charge at it. Same goes for the undead, most of the time they're forever stuck existing for the entertainment of others as some sort of player-ran event and little else. Even necromancers themselves don't exactly do much other than either create more undead, teach a friend or two the magic or make gigantic schemes that mirrior necromancy's origin that never go anywhere. Ascended are gone for lesser reasons despite being awfully similiar in OOC origin. To sum it up, from a IC standpoint, you'd see more voidal horrors be tollerated than any type of undead, rendering what they can do quite limited when it comes to roleplay. I've played only my darkstalker up until flam's shelf, while my character was rather bloodthirsty, more often than not he fought in self defence because someone wanted the bragging rights of taking down a darkstalker.
  9. Keep the hate purely IC and it shouldn’t be an issue. But when it goes past it, that’s a problem. Racism especialy is kind of a big thing to any universe that has so many races. I doubt that most humans born in human society are going to look at cat-people, ten foot tall idiotic ologs and unaging pointy eared tree folk as someone that’s equal to them.
  10. Who stole my beer from the fridge?
  11. Completely agreed. LoTC ain’t the place for your kinks people, y’all need to relax!
  12. Orcs are unable to eat rotten food and that's all i've brought. I hope that eventually racial buffs will be transfered over! Good job, Dev Team. Edit: I got kicked and logged back on just to see me dead due to lag. Even my soulbound items are gone.
  13. Grr job grr. I'll only be able to participate in the saturday one... Also first~
  14. Was quite a mess! But a fun mess. Turned into an odd one when half the people's armor broke though. First~
  15. Finnaly! A warzone that isn't absolute garbage!
  16. Interesting suggestion. I'd add to it by making the charge-up time shorter. Because anyone can just step away and your charge's worthless, even then, all it does is 2 hearts of damage to an unarmored person.
  17. In my opinion i don't see why halflings shouldn't share a passive speed buff with their goblin buddies. Both are the only races with less than avarage amount of health, the only two races with two racial skills... and goblins even have both speed and more health than halflings. Don't see why not half-men shouldn't have the same passive speed buff as gobos do.
  18. After several PvP situation tests with the charge... it's dead content. The charge up time makes you unable to move and results in you being beat down few hearts of health before the charge itself even happened. It might have a slight use in warclaims when there's a mass of people that don't look about, but it also makes sound, allowing others to know what's coming. So in a nutshell, i highly doubt that even 10% orcs will use it. The idea in itself is quite fun though, i must say. Hope to see some improvements to it over time.
