What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - The rule I agree with most is that both players have to agree to PvP combat so it is fair and you can not be ambushed or something. Definitions This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not Google’s. What’s metagaming?: - It is when you use information you know yourself (OOC) and apply it to your game charcter (IC). An example could be, you yourself know how to farm, but your IC character does not and you end up farming with the IC character. What’s powergaming?: - When you are roleplaying with someone, and you are basically directing what goes on and making it so they have to follow it, an example would be ''Joren pulls the string of his bow back and shoots the arrow through an orc's head.'' In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: - Joren Stonehearth. What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Mountain Dwarf. What sex are they?: - Male. How old are they?: - 40. Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - His name was Joren Stonehearth, born to the parents of Lyanda Stonehearth, and Jothan Stonehearth. They lived in the mountains in a very remote village, the surroundings of the village was a dense forest next to a colossal mountain with rocky, jagged outputs with a lot of wheat fields to feed the population and maybe trade with wandering merchants. The village has a small Population of around fourty people, there were eight houses made of fine redwood which lined the beautiful stone which made the majority of the houses, and they also Had a yellow hay roof which was always a welcoming site when venturing back from the forests as it had a glow when the sun shined on it, although this was rare, as most of the weather was harsh and unforgiven. There was also a granary to store there hard-earned wheat and fresh made bread and to keep meat fresh when they had been salted to preserve them and here they could also make there own ale to supply the men of the village and for any festivals they might celebrate like a nameday for one of the villagers. There was also a grand blacksmith, which had been made of stone with mysterious engravings depicting a heavy-built dwarf swinging a hammer into an anvil, the forge was belching flames and iron was always being forged into a sword, axe or even the odd Nasal Helmet, the man who worked this forge was called Jack Ironborn, he had arms as thick as trees, and a great belly but although he looked big and intimidating he was very friendly and welcomed all. The village had in total eight guards to defend from wolves or raiders, and the village leader was called Ragon Graootum, who was very young and taken his fathers place after he died from an illness, Ragon was a loyal servant of the Kingdom of Urguan. Joren's childhood consisted of him training with an axe which was past down his family for generations which was made of Steel, he also learnt to use the bow and as time went on doing these arts, his body began to thicken with muscle and after two seasons he was able to wield a double-handed axe and chop trees down. His father was a lumberjack who taught him the way of lumbering and how to do it efficiently. For many years this was what he did, chop trees down, harvest the fields when needed or hunting when he was the right age of four seasons. His mother was a housewife who would do any jobs around the village when needed like in the harvest, on top of this she could read and write and taught Joren to read and write along with many others in the village. After many more years in the village he had learnt to blacksmith from the local blacksmith, who taught him how to hit the iron when it was right and how to make a fine axe head, or a perfect helmet, he was also taught to smelt ores into bars and he had learnt the basics of blacksmithing and smelting. Life was peaceful and enjoyable, buy Joren however was bored of it all, he wanted more to his life. He wanted adventure and glory, and to rid the world of evil. Wanderlust had taken him, he ventured to the of Kingdom of Malinor, all the way to the Dwarven city of Kal'Azgoth, capital of the powerful Kingdom of Urguan. He saw many beautiful cities in his life, and all sorts of environments, races, people. He met a lot of people along the way, in taverns, or hamlets on the Roads. Where they would talk of stories of the Bloodthirsty orcs, the undead attacking the roads making it dangerous to travel alone. He went to towns helping blacksmiths with building armour for soldiers or just general trade. He would often go back and visit his family and see how they fared, until one day he went and they were no where to be found, the blacksmith told him that his mother died of illness, and his father had gone off adventuring as well, and left only his axe for him, he then went looking for his father and he could not find him where ever he searched. Although, he could never find him he never gave up looking for him he still did jobs for people to get money but he wouldn't stop looking, even if it killed him, he would not stop. He traveled for months, he went from town to town, nation to nation all over Anthos, looking for work and whatever he could do to earn himself some money, after all this time his beard had grown quite shaggy and he appeared as a quiet character, and never had any noticeable emotions to his face. He then found a fellow dwarf in a pub at Kingston where they shared an ale and spoke of their story and where they had been traveling, they would also boats to one another about who had the biggest axe or muscles, his name was Breckon Orefield. They would kill bandits and take on all sorts of quests as they travelled all over the world of Anthos and hoped that one day they could be master armour makers.Eventually they would make there way to the mighty Elven city of Leumalin on their travels where they would gather information on where bandit camps are, or how to forge metals as well as the elves, and he would learn the way of the Woodelves architecture of how they virtually live in a tree, which is almost untouched and looks like a normal tree. The Elves were very intelligent and superb archers and for them to miss is a rare site, they were also a very fair haired race, and they seemed somewhat repugnant to the site of the Dwarves, but that didn't bother them in their quests around the Elven kingdom of Malinor. In the kingdom he would see if he could find some information on the where-abouts of his father, but to no success, he thought checking this kingdom would be good as his father always had an interest in the Elven kingdom which he never spoke much of, he presumed it was because of the architecture of the cities, his father had a fond interest of the unique and natural architecture of the Elves. So after scouring the Elven kingdom, he left. Venturing to the many other cities scattered over Anthos. What are they like (personality)?: - Friendly, brave, loud, tough, heavy-build, righteous, intelligent, enjoys the company of others, caring, can be short of temper, honourable. What are their ambitions?: - To rid Anthos of bandits and setup a prosperous blacksmith to make fine armour and weapons. Do they have any special skills?: - Logging, wielding an axe, has learnt to blacksmith on his journeys through the world. What do they look like?: - Jet black eyes which don't have any emotion to them, brown beard and hair like earth, and very light brown skin, he's about 3.5 Foot high. Also, very thick with muscle and has big shoulders. Anything else you want to say about them?: - He is very strong as he has wielded axe and from tree cutting, and he can sometimes forget his own strength, and can get lost in a bloodlust. One day, when he was cutting a tree down he heard screaming and the sound of steel on steel, he went to see what was happenign at first he presumed it was training, but he was mistaken, as when he arrived the village was aflame and death was everwhere to be seen. In the distance he was the blacksmith fighting with a big axe agaisnt three goblins, he brought his axe down and cut one of their skulls straight-in-two he then brought it out and swung to his side and knocked one flying to his left and the other broke into flight and his victory was shortlived as he was then shot through the chest, he was dead beofre he hit the ground. Joren was then attacked by two goblins he swung his axe and missed, the goblin then went for a lunge with its crude sword, Joren just evaded it, and then went for another swing and jit the goblin cutting it from right to left, and it died instanlty but then he was hit across the back of his head with a club, and then hit the floor unconcious. When he woke up it was almost sunset, and there were only ashes left and corpses scattered everywhere, and his parents were found dead, he then took his fathers axe and ventured into the forest, with one thing on his mind. Vengance. He travelled for months, he went from town to town, looking for work and whatever he could do to earn himself some money, after all this time his beard had grown quite shaggy and he appeared as a quiet character, and never had any noticable emotions to his face.
