In your own words describe what you think a delve is: I think a delve is a kind of clan/group that stays together and no matter what happens they wont fall apart. If you found an artifact and that artifact could do anything. What would it do? I would want to find an artifact that was some sort of sphere. Give us a brief description of their life – story, childhood, family: Izarka grew up in, Anthos in an orphanage in Kingston. He was taken there by his grandparents after his parents died of sickness. In the orphanage Izarka was bullied by the kids for him being smaller and weaker than them. They would called things like ‘stick insect’ and ‘twig’. Izarka had to put up with that until he was 12. Izarka realized that he didn't have to stay there so he snuck out and ran away. He made a life by doing small jobs and sleeping at local inns until he was 18 and started being able to do harder jobs. Now he still lives in Kingston but visits other towns for work. What are they like (personality)?: He is a very solo person. He doesn’t like working but will do so if he needs to. He doesn’t like to have a permanent home but prefers the streets or staying with a friend or in taverns. He doesn’t like attention and will do many things including stealing and fighting but will not do that unless necessary. He hates but respects orcs has he has been given most of his morals by the dwarves he lived with. He loves exploring but does not know specific locations unless someone has told him and he changes his mind a lot. What are their ambitions?: His ambitions are to become a man only known among his friends, to become a great bowman and to find out about his parents and family. Do they have any special skills?: He is fairly good with a sword and bow but is best at sneaking around stealthily. He also looks fairly weak but will get the jump on foes when they least expect it. Also he is a good cook as he makes homemade most of the time. What are their weaknesses?: He is a very emotional person and if someone offends him or his family he gets very angry and will do outrageous and stupid things. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: He is small and fairly thin and looks like he is very weak, even though he is very strong, he has tanned skin and brown, sort of short hair. He has green eyes and usually has a bag. Anything else you want to say about them?: He wants to look weak in front of his opponents but he is actually very strong. How old are they?: 19. Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: Izarka grew up in an orphanage with no knowledge of his family. In the orphanage he was bullied and abused by other children and the teachers at the age of 5-12. All the kids were big and strong but Izarka was small and feeble. All the other kids would call him things like ‘stick insect’, ‘twig’ or ‘tree branch’. When he was 11 he showed his first signs of strength when one of the kids annoyed him too much and Izarka punched the kid and broke his nose. The teachers were outraged by this, so they kept him away from the children until one day, when he was 12, he escaped. Izarka snuck out of his private area and started talking to the other kids. When one of the teachers saw she came out and yelled, ‘Izarka! Get back in here!’ Izarka knew if he went back in he wouldn’t come out so he threw a rock at her and ran. Izarka went straight out the front gates and ran for the nearest city he knew. Instead of finding a city he found an Orc camp. The Orcs let him stay until he was 17. There at the Orc camp he learnt to fight, use a bow and cook. The day before he was 17 when Izarka was asleep an Orc crept up on him and tried to kill him. Izarka heard the Orc woke up and grabbed the sword that he kept on the wall behind his bed. The Orc told him that they had killed his family when he was young and put him in an orphanage and would only kill him when he was ready. Izarka managed to barely escape but managed to kill at least 3 Orcs. Izarka spent the next two years of his life doing small jobs that only paid for his food and lived on the streets. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: yes. What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: My favourite rule is that that you have to stay in character all the time because it adds to the part that you’re meant to be someone that your not and you stay that way. Definitions What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you play someone that you are not and do everyday tasks as that character in a fictional world. In-Character Information What’s your character called?: Izarka. What race are they (and sub-race)?: Izarka is Human with a sub-race of daemon. What sex are they?: Male. How old are they?: 16 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: Let's start with why he is part daemon. When he 6 his father brought home a fruit from the underworld. They didn't know what it was called but their father said it was the last fruit of that kind anywhere. The boys, being young and mischievous, decided to eat the fruit. This fruit turned them part daemon and gave them extraordinary powers but could only be used at times when they were in a great deal of trouble. Now let's talk about his childhood. Izarka was bulled as a child for being thin, weak and having no muscles. They kids would call him stick insect, twig and they would say, 'Where are your leaves, tree branch." It only got worse after his parents died, 'Why don't you go cry to mummy. Oh wait, you can't.' They would say. This all changed when he was 14 and discovered he could use his powers. He didn't use it when he was in grave danger he'd use them for fun which is how he got his mischievous personality. Now let's go to family. He had a mother named Angela, a twin brother named Ikira and a father named Shakil. His mother was the only one with a normal name. His mother died when she gave birth to the twins, so Izarka had no memory of her. His father died when he was killed by an orc, this started Izarka's hate for orcs which I will go into later. Last of all his brother died at the young age of 7 when the daemons came after the boys for eating the fruit. Apparently this fruit was sacred among the daemons at the time but now is no longer. Having all his family and relatives dead Izarka is the last of his family. What are they like (personality)?: Izarka is a generally troublesome and mischievous boy. He doesn't let anyone stand in his way unless he is under high threat. He likes humans, dwarves and elves but hates the other races except daemons. With daemons he has a love hate relationship. He will happily work with humans, dwarves and elves but will work with other races but not happily. He is easily angered and it is easy to make him hate you and he will kill if he wants to. He also plays a lot of practical jokes that sometimes get people hurt. What are their ambitions?: Izarka only has one and one only ambition, to be known across all the LOTC world. Every thing he does is to reach that goal even if it seems he is doing it for a different reasons. Do they have any special skills?: He is able to cause fear to his foes and cause nausea and blindness. He also very persuasive and deceitful. He is also a fairly good bowman and is fairly stealthy. What are their weaknesses?: His biggest weakness is that if something bad happens that's his fault and he didn't mean it only then will he feel guilt. If he feels guilty he will not be able to use his powers to his fullest. He is also weak if he is sexually attracted to something. It makes him do stupid stuff to look strong and tough. Another weakness of his is that if someone is better than him he will do all he can to be better than them. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: He is about 160cm tall and it fairly thin. He has creamy skin with red hair. Because he is part daemon he has read marks all over him. He has a red aura on his chest and has red eyes. He has some muscles but not many and is very grubby as he is not the one to have a permanent house. One of his eyes is usually half covered or completely covered by a waft of hair going over it. Anything else you want to say about them?: Izarka will hurt or even KILL anyone who makes fun of his parents or his family as he is the only one left. Also he does not like having a permanent house and prefers the streets, make-shift camps or living in taverns or with a friend. He does not rely on strength but relies on his skills with a bow or stealth though will still use swords if he has to. He will also work for any pay as long as the money keeps him alive, pays for his food and is able to pay for some weapons if he saves. Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin:
