    CITIZEN’S OATH OF LOYALTY

I, Aragon Silversteed, hereby swear my loyalty to the King of the Crown of Renatus-Marna, and to uphold and obey the laws of the Crown as its loyal citizen. I understand the penalties and punishments that shall be incurred should I violate these laws.

  2. Writes on each of the new applicant's posts "Accepted! Welcome to Arbor. Those who wish to undergo the trials, find a Warden, or myself to administer them for you. Those in need of housing, speak to a steward, or myself."

  3. Aragon nods and writes back "Aye! Ser Magnus, Warden of the West, shall go in my place unfortunately, however I trust him to represent Arbor honorably and to the best of his ability."

~The official seal of Arbor would be found indented in wax at the bottom of the letter.

((Reason for this is I will be gone briefly for a few days on a work related trip. I will be in touch with all and will be available through discord at all times. Ave Arbor, Ave Curon.))

  4. Aragon reads the written post. He leans back in his marble chair in the Wardens hall of Arbor. He would hear Ser Magnus's outcry "Magnus calm yourself. Esme is far from undead, we checked ourselves by cutting her arm with a golden blade with her permission. The rest of this however, Arbor shall not get involved. I swore oaths to the two former Princes to preserve the peace in Curon, so thereby it is in everyone's interest that this issue be resolved peacefully, and without the movement of armies. The rightful prince will soon be of age, so that should solve the issue, for now at least I think that slinging insults and dividing ourselves helps no one. I think calling someone ungodly, and calling someone undead who is clearly not undead, helps nothing. Let us open a dialogue between all the people, and perhaps come up with a solution to the problems ahead of us."

  5. Aragon Silversteed would watch from the saddle of his horse the speech. Dozens of mounted Knights of Arbor stand by him, and in front of them an entire unit of the Arbor Black Guard. The men of Arbor stand quietly, not cheering or booing. One of the Wardens of Arbor turns to Aragon from his horse, looking over his right shoulder, "my lord, what shall we do?"

Aragon would think for a moment, never being one for rash action. He would then say, "Warden Elton, take the unit and peacefully disperse the crowd" noticing how the crowd seemed to have turned on each other, throwing apples, small rocks, among other things. "Have the people return to their homes."

Aragon would pull the reigns of his steed, the rest of his company riding at his side, the men returning home to Arbor.

Aragon would think to himself as they ride, "another startup Barony? This is getting out of hand. Arbor had historic precedent for its creation, but this? This only fractures humanity more."

  6. Aragon Silversteed of Arbor nods as he reads the post "about time we got this sorted and put behind us, now we can focus on the bigger picture damn it; killing Norlanders, undead, and putting the heads of bandits on spikes where they belong." Aragon then pulls on the reigns of his horse, twisting around. Behind him dozens upon dozens of Knights of Arbor await his orders on horseback, many carrying lances with flapping banners in the wind of House Silversteed, in the sun the silver hued group of knights would almost be a blinding sight to look upon. And so they rode, a second sun upon the world, to vanquish the dark.

  7. Writes on each of the new applicant's posts "Accepted, come to Arbor, and those joining the Black Guard legion, report for duty to the first officer you meet." He stamps both signups with the official seal of his bloodline.

I shall not bend, I shall not break.

Henceforth I will not kneel for any man, not before any lord, or King.

    I am now undaunted.

I shall not fear, what others fear most.

I shall not tremble, when ordinary men break ranks.

I am the light in the dark.

I am the shield endowed with honor, the protector of Arbor and its lands.

I am the sword etched with glory, the guardian of light.

I swear from this day forth to protect the innocent of all the realms of Atlas, wherever they may be.

I swear my life in the name of Arbor and House Silversteed, to protect the true bloodline of the first.

I relinquish all title or titles to be to Arbor, for either I shall hold title within its realm, or no title at all.

    I am of House Silversteed,

    I am of Arbor.

    We are retribution.

    ~The oath of Arbor.

Since the Kingdom of Arbor, ordained by the Church, merged with Curon nearly 30 years ago, the realms have prospered. The alliance of nations has formed in the pursuit of lasting peace, and the Global Assembly has had unprecedented success in creating an understanding amongst the people of Atlas. Despite this, darkness still presides in this world. I Aragon Silversteed, Lord Paramount of House Silversteed; only son of Avalon Silversteed, the founder of this great house, have dedicated my life to eradicating the forces of darkness that plague all the peoples of Atlas. We the Knights of Arbor, tasked as peacekeepers of the Global Assembly, take it upon ourselves to seek out this darkness wherever it may be and destroy it. The undead, bandits, and the drakes that torment this world will be hunted and eradicated. To this end I swear my life, let God be my witness.

Those who wish to fight the darkness of this realm, may sign up here. If one wishes to join the Silver Knights of Arbor however, they must sign up and pass the trials. Only the best and the bravest can hold the honor of becoming a Knight. If one does not wish to attempt the trials, they may join the Black Guard.

I swear my life in the name of Arbor and House Silversteed, to protect the true bloodline of the first.

I relinquish all title or titles to be to Arbor, for either I shall hold title within its realm, or no title at all.

    I am of House Silversteed,

I am a Silver Knight of Arbor.

    We are retribution.

    The Silver Trials

    In order to join the ranks of the Silver Knights, one must pass the trials. These three trials, beyond their names, are only revealed to the person as they begin to face them, to ensure that none can be prepared for them ahead of time. The three trials are;

    The Trial of the Will.

    The Trial of the Mind.

    The Trial of the Heart.

If one successfully passes the trials, they are then allowed to begin their training under a Knight as a squire, and will one day soon be Knighted themselves.

    Armor and Equipment

The Knights of Arbor bear some of the finest armor available, as no expense is spared when equipping each Knight. Each Knight is equipped with a thick wool gambeson and thick wool leggings, which is light yet tough in weave and fiber. Over this each Knight equips themselves with a full body chain layer, even chain leggings. The final layer of Armor is the Silver Colored plate which the Knights of Arbor can be recognized for, full body plate covering meant for horse to horse combat as well as on ground conflict. The weapons of the Knight are up to the individual, many Knights specialize in a particular type of weapon, however all Knights are trained to have strong proficiency in a sword, axe, warhammer, and of course; the lance.

    Ranks

    Squire:

If one successfully passes the Silver trials, they become a squire of the Knights of Arbor. They are then assigned to an anointed Knight to be their personal squire. The Knight is tasked to train the Squire in combat, horsemanship, and chivalry. Once the squire has trained for a manor of time, the Knight may recommend to the council of Wardens that the Squire be accepted, and become an anointed Knight. If the council of Wardens accepts, or the Lord Paramount of House Silversteeds approves, the squire will be knighted.

    Knight:

Now anointed, a Knight is tasked with three major things that they must not fail to do. They must protect Arbor no matter the cost, and they must travel the realms to preserve the peace, and they must train a new squire if assigned one. After years of honor, valiance, and proven loyalty, and if there is a vacancy on the council of Wardens, a Knight may be chosen to become a Warden. To become one, one must be directly admitted by the Lord Paramount himself.

    Warden:

If one does become a Warden, they have reached the highest honor attainable in all of Arbor. To be a Silver Knight is one thing, to be a Warden, is another. The Council of Wardens sits at a round table. A seat points in ever cardinal direction of Atlas. Each Warden is in charge of the direction of the realm upon which they sit. For example a Warden who sits upon the western chair, is Warden of the West, and is tasked with routinely taking several Knights and their Squires and visiting that part of the realm. The Warden of the North will do the same, as will the Warden of the South East, and so on. Some Wardens are granted control over a castle or fortress, built in the direction of their seat. These castles are designed to be used for those townsfolk who live near it and may need to flee from a raid or attack.

    Duties of Knights

The Knights of Arbor are expected to do the following daily. If a Knight is assigned a Squire, they are expected to bring their Squire to accompany them in all the following activities:

~Patrol the entirety of Arbor at least twice per day, to ensure maximum security for the people of Arbor.

~Sharpen their weapon of choice, and polish their armor at least once per day.

~To always have their Armor on, unless in their own home, or dressed for special occasion.

~To patrol the outer walls of Arbor at least twice per day, ensure the function of the front Gates, and to patrol the back forests in the southern lands of Arbor.

~If given a squire, to train with the Squire daily in weapons of all manner, sword, axe, hammer, etc. To train them in riding, and to practice Archery. Every other day, a Knight is expected to teach their squire how to masterfully read and write, for all Knights must posses such a skill.

Those that are Knights are permitted to take breaks throughout the day, to enjoy themselves, to drink, and to be among the people of Arbor, however failure to complete their duties by the end of the day may result in consequences.

    The Culture of Arbor

Arbor began many many years ago, a split off group during the decline of the Kingdom of Norland in the beginnings of Atlas. Lord Avalon Silversteed, first of the House Silversteed, left Norland with much of its population and his house after the bastard child of Javier stole the thrown from his brother the true heir to Norland, whilst his brother was sickly in bed. Fearing a decline which indeed did come, Avalon and his kin left Norland, for a better life. In the early months of Atlas they established a small town, just outside the Cloud Temple. The town grew rapidly, and eventually became a city. Amongst the massive oak trees of those fertile lands, and like a tree itself growing strong out of seemingly hopeless soil, this city was aptly named 'Arbor'. Avalon believed in honor above everything. What he saw in Norland greatly shaped his view in the world. He saw how brothers turned on each other for power. How they spat on basic principles like the freedom to think clearly, or the freedom to follow differing faiths without fear of persecution. It became his drive, his goal in life to renew a spirit of honor within this new world of Atlas. He started with a simple decree. "Gather round my kin, hear me! I dare not take much of your time, you all lead busy lives, but hear me! Never again, shall anyone bow to me! And I shall bow to none! Just the other day an old and humble farming man came to my court asking for grain. Before he even spoke a word, before he even knew my nature, he attempted to bow before me. The pain from the motion that I saw in his eyes, I shall never forget. What right, do I have, does anyone have, to ask for people to bend their pride and honor before them!? To humiliate people, in such a way, just to evoke status. No more. The heart, is from where I wish to speak. From my heart. That is where my truth resides. Where my honor comes from. And as long as it beats I shall never bend my back again, to no man, no lord, no king. And as long as I live, none shall bow to me, or any of my blood!" And so it was. From that day forth the people developed a new show of respect towards each other. Arborians became known for placing their fist over their hearts gently, in place of bowing to one another.

As time went by, and the Knights of Arbor were formed, the people of Arbor found it there duty to take on the roles that other cities and nations found beneath them. To aid the small and unlanded peoples that were scattered throughout Atlas. To protect these small communities from bandits, and the undead. To help them went winters were harsh. To supply them, when times were hard. The forgotten peoples of Atlas, were not forgotten by Arbor. Beside a large trade road leading to the Elves of the Dominion, and at the base of the mountain of the mighty Dwarves of Kaz'Ulra, Arbor's wealth swelled. Developing close relations because of this trade with many nations, Arborians began to develop their own culture and identity.

Arborians above all value honor. In every interaction Honor is at play. If an Arborian goes back on their word, it is considered a disgrace, and they are often shunned by fellow Arborians for breaking a contract, or manipulating agreements. Arborians developed this sense that Honor and Humility are perhaps the most important attributes in a person, and thus teach it to each generation. Arborians are masters of the horse, and mounted combat. It is common that parents introduce their children to horses before the children can even speak. The horse is a symbol of freedom, of heart, and of loyalty. The vivid green plains and deep forests that surround Arbor are often speckled with wild stallions. As such, Arborians have developed, perhaps more than anything, the determination and willpower, of the very horses they ride. Arborians are a proud people, and there is often a struggle between to balance humility, and the natural pride within all Arborians.

Vailor: In the midst of the Great Civil war, which would eventually become known as the conflict between the Dreadlands and Oren, Avalon Silversteed joined the conflict in the hopes of ending a corrupt rule. Avalon served under Lord Thomas Ruric, first of his name, and worked his way through the ranks. Avalon proved his commanding ability, and was given leadership titles within the Nortruppen. As the conflict progressed and the Nortruppen gained further ground, Avalon requested to create his own house, just outside the borders of Seahelm, believing perhaps he would better aid the cause. Holding the trust of his King, Thomas granted him this request, and house Silversteed was born. It is worthy to note, that Avalon changed the precedent of taking an oath in Norland. He did not bend the knee, instead he stood and put a fist over his heart. He declared "I serve one man and one man only, Thomas Ruric, not Norland as a whole, nor the family of House Ruric, though I would die for many of them. Should Norland be worthy of it's own name, I shall swear allegiance again to the next king, thus is my promise, and oath I shall uphold until my death." Unlike those in Oren, this house was born from nothing, the lordship given to a man who worked his way from the lowest ranks, and proved his undying loyalty to the free people. The first castle, Silverholt, was constructed just outside Seahelm. When Seahelm was overrun by Orenian forces, Silverholt was burned to the ground, and the free people moved to the Dreadlands. Here, Avalon was granted the title Count of Evermore, which became the new fortress town of the Dreadlands. Out of rubble and dust, House Silversteed built Evermore, in the hopes of creating a new homeland for the free people. Avalon was given Thomas Ruric’s ring, a symbol of the trust between House Ruric and House Silversteed. A decisive battle was fought not long after, one that would prove to be a destructive blow against Oren. Some say the Dreadlands lost, others say it was Oren who fled, regardless it was a day of reckoning. The Dreadlandic dead piled high. House Silversteed lost many good men that day. Avalon, stricken by grief, relinquished his position to his son Ethan Silversteed for the time being, and went out into the realm to find peace. He was not seen again for many a year.

Isles of Axios: Ethan Silversteed, though he was adopted into the family, valiantly took it upon himself to continue his father's house. When the realm fled to the Isles of Axios, Ethan rebuilt what he could of House Silversteed, and joined the new rebellion against Oren. Ethan was killed by murderers and thieves, and the title of House Silversteed was then granted to Ethan’s Son William. William continued House Silversteed’s , fighting victories in the Rebellion, and obtaining lands in Norland. Avalon returned, having found his peace, and William gave back the title of Lord of House Silversteed to Avalon. Until that is when William broke the oath to his own house, and to his family. Blinded by a lust for power, he grew increasingly stubborn. He would go missing for several months at a time, only to come back more and more irrational. Towards the final days of Axios, Avalon did not swear a new oath to Jory Ash, and left Norland. William returned yet again from wherever it was he was dwelling, and demanded the Silversteeds follow him instead of Avalon. They refused, and one by one the entirety of House Silversteed and even many Norlanders left the once prosperous kingdom, to seek out a better life outside the clutches of Jory Ash, the Bastard King who Knelt. Avalon stripped all other Silversteed of their name besides his own and his wife’s, Angelica. The betrayal of William cut deep, so William, and all his kin and any of those who were given the name Silversteed lost their name. If they bare it, they hold it as pretenders, and traitors to the house; for only two remain who rightfully hold the name, Aragon and Amelia Silversteed.

Atlas: Aragon Silversteed blood son of Avalon and Angelica Silversteed, was born only a few short years before Avalon’s untimely death. Before his death Avalon had merged the Kingdom of Arbor and the Duchy of Curon to become one greater nation. Angelica Silversteed died in childbirth, giving birth to Aragon and his twin sister Amelia Silversteed. Angelica was placed in a wooden boat. The boat was carried by Knights of Arbor and Black Guard alike. The Duke, and all of Curon bore witness to this horrible day. The ship was set into the river that surrounds Curon, and cast off. Two archers, Ser Ajax famed Knight of Arbor, and Deowin Caligor, a sergiant of Curon, lit their arrows and took aim. All became still as hundreds of people held their breath. The arrows flew through the air, hardly visible in the setting sun. Moments later the ship carrying the former Queen Angelica erupted in flame. But there was no cheer. The ship sailed down the river, carrying the beloved lady of the house. Aragon, born as Prince of Arbor and the Lord of House Silversteed, though he had no father or mother, would prosper in the peace and harmony of Curon. He would grow up in the palace, the Duke himself took Aragon into his care. Aragon learned to ride, and proved to be a prodigy in horsemanship like his father was. Once Aragon came of age, Aragon spoke with the duke and asked to fulfill his birthright, that Arbor be made into a Barony of Curon. And so it was. Now Arbor is rebuilt, and the former prince has taken it upon himself to finish what his father started.

  11. A Notice Is Posted Around The Realms~

I write in acknowledgement that it is possible my time on this earth is limited. The Godless Norlanders continue to harass, even though they are repeatedly slain at my gates. The undead continue to creep closer to our lands, and Marna is yet to do anything. I have been isolated by a Norland who thinks they are powerful because they kiss the feet of Renatus, the very same who burned our homes, who killed our people in the streets. How can I follow a king who's name is not even rightfully Ruric, to bow to a nation that slaughtered our children in the streets? Jory Ash must be proud to bow to such people, for he never cared much for Norlanders anyway, which explains why so few remain in the fallen lands. Arthas and the boy who claims to be my illegitimate grandson William are no better. Arthas seems just as eager to bow to people who killed his own, makes sense I suppose since he fought on their side, not Norland's. And then there is this boy who claims to be William, but for all I know could be some puppet child created by Jory Ash. Even if this is the real William, it matters not. Only direct bloodline may poses the Silversteed Name, or those I personally give the name to. I gave the name to Atturi, then I took it away from him, for he had made his choice to stay with Norland but at least he was upfront about it. I took his name, and like a real man Atturi accepted this fate, and realized his time as a Silversteed had come to an end. He did not play coy, he accepted the consequences of his choice with honor. Atturi is more of a man than William could ever hope to be. But if this boy really is William, then he should remind himself that he is the son of an adopted son Ethan, who I personally legitimized. But, because William only wants power to be handed to him on a silver spoon, I had to make the horrible decision of stripping Ethan and William of their name Silversteed. William has no right to hold the name, for I have the only right to strip it from him. Even if I should die, once a name is stripped it cannot return unless granted by one of the direct bloodline. William can go make his own house if he so badly desires power. And finally to you Jory Ash, if you do by chance end up reading this, I hope you forever know that you shall be remembered by all the world as the Boy who Bent. You will go down in history as the the boy who claimed to be king, and then bent the knee to the people who slaughtered ours. And you call me oathbreaker. At least I have the balls to spit on Renatus, for I, and all Arborians, would rather die a thousand deaths than destroy all that we stand for. And you call me oathbreaker.

~Below is my last will and testament should I die any form of death.~

I hereby strip all Silversteed's of their name except for myself and my dearest Angelica Silversteed, for she as well as I hold the future of this house together.

    ___________

I proclaim that Angelica Silversteed, other than myself, is the only other current Silversteed who has the right to name new Silversteeds. No Silversteed, real or legitimate, shall hold this power. Should Jory Ash, who claims himself a Ruric by self legitimization, claim that what I say is void because he calls me a traitor, then he shall be completely undermining a system established by Norland and other human groups for centuries. The founder of a House, or it's current leader, has the right to legitimize or strip people of their name. Should the supposed Leader and the Founder be separate entities, than the Founder's word is final. If this is not true, than it is not possible for Jory to be a Ruric, as he legitimized himself on the basis that he is the acting leader of House Ruric, and the founder is long dead.

    ___________

All my possessions shall go to Angelica Silversteed, and whomever she names to receive as well.

    ___________

The Land's formally held by the Kingdom of Arbor, a nation under God recognized by those who wear the Lorraine Cross and the Pope himself, are to go back to being free territory. To hell with you Dominion, despite peaceful talks with you, you also bowed to the pressures of Renatus. A sad thing really, the Dominion used to be something people actually respected, my how far your people have fallen. At least try to hold some dignity.

    ___________

I hereby release any vow made to me or my family made by a citizen of Arbor. I wish you all the best of luck in your travels, may honor continue to light your way.

    __________

Any heir to House Silversteed, should there be one at all, will be named by Angelica Silversteed. If such an heir will ever exist, they shall be the Lord or Lady paramount of the house upon their birth, guided by those loyal to my name. They shall also be heir to the will and people of Arbor, should our people reform.

    __________

Those who have been Knighted by me, you know who ye are. You shall retain your Knightship, under God. I hope that ye shall make me proud, for you are the last Knights of Arbor.

    __________

    Signed~

Avalon Silversteed. Knight of the Realm, Lord Paramount of House Silversteed, first Captain of Silver, Lord of Silverholt, King of Arbor and Protector of the Arborian People.

  12. Jory Ash,

I Avalon Silversteed, Lord of House Silversteed, challenge you to a fight to the death. Plate Armor which shall come from a neutral source and shall be identical in make. Each will be provided with a Long sword, crafted in the same place as the armor. No Magic shall be permitted within the Arena, and the Arena shall be of flat stone. No tricks, no gimics, no cheats. I challenge you in front of Gods and Men. The All Father will deem the victor worthy of his blessing, and therefore, no champion may be called in your place. If I Avalon Silversteed, win this duel, House Ruric, and the people of Norland shall swear an oath to nae strike against Arbor ever again. If Jory Ash, you win, upon my death I decree that House Silversteed will disband. Arbor will dissolve entirely, and the people of Arbor shall scatter to the winds. I ask Arthas Ruric to watch this duel, and keep the peace no matter the victor, for it is the All Father that shall decide. If the All Father truly is by your side, then you shall face me. If you are half the man you say you are, then you shall fight me.

((This is an RP duel, to be watched over in its entirety by a GM to ensure as realistic a duel as possible. No PVP at any point will be allowed in the duel. This duel is a duel to the death of character, meaning a Perma Kill duel of whoever looses. No alt characters are allowed, and any use of poison, magic, or anything other than a sword or hand to kill shall be allowed. In addition, if rules wish to be changed regarding the structure of the duel, inform me.))

  14. A New Post Covers The Old, A Dagger Having Stabbed This Paper Into The Tree.

How dare you. How dare you say what kind of oath I took in the name of my family. I swore an Oath only to Thomas Ruric, a man, not his bloody family. I swore an oath to Javier Ruric, a man, not his bloody family. I call upon Javier Ruric to clarify that my words ring true, for I am no oathbreaker. And who are you, Jory ASH, a bastard boy, to call me oathbreaker? Did you not swear an oath to Javier Ruric, both in words and in blood, and then betray that oath when you took the throne from Jevan Ruric? Javier named Jevan the rightful heir of Norland. Those where his words, we all heard them. No moot has strength above the words of the sitting king, especially not when the people support that king en mass. I call upon Jevan Ruric, to come to his senses and realize what madness Jory brings. Who legitimized Jory? Certainly it was not Jevan, nor was it Arthas, for only the ruling Ruric has such a power. Jory I told you time and time again, I will fight beside Norland. But agree to the bending of the knee, I do not. I will die before I server Jory Ash, the Boy who Bent. All you seek is to impose a tyrannical rule upon a free people. How Norland has fallen so low, that Jory is willing to kill other Niorlanders, other All Father followers, in order to prove how strong they are under Renatus. If you want a fight so bad, a fight you will get. Have at thee, Jory, the Bastard Boy who Bent.

  15. I, Avalon Silversteed, Lord of House Silversteed, by the power vested in me by Javier Ruric, the man I swore my life and house to, I hereby issue the following decree.

To begin I shall start with the stripping of title and name. As Lord of House Silversteed under Javier Ruric, I hereby revoke the name Silversteed from my grandson William. I revoke his right to title, to land, to holding and to my armies. I revoke his title both in pen and by blood, and from this day till his last, he is no longer my grandson, nor related to me. In addition, William was never a legitimate grandson of mine. William is the son of Ethan Silversteed, who was a lad I adopted long ago and gave to the title of Silversteed. I therefore by every right, strip William of the family name Silversteed, and state that he shall never hold it again.

I also strip my adopted cousin, Atturi, of the name Silversteed. He is related to none of my line, nor is he related to me directly. He was gifted the title Silversteed and I adopted him into the family as a cousin. Therefore, I hold my right to strip him of his name, the same as I do to William. I take this action not out of spite, but out of security. My family, my people, they are what keep me going, and I shall not jeopardize them for anything.

As I write this decree I still serve the lord Javier Ruric, as I shall do until he relinquishes me from my oath. It has been the tradition of my house and my name, a tradition set by Thomas Ruric himself, that I not swear allegiance to Norland as a whole, but that I renew my oath to each new king of Norland should they be a true Ruric. Times have changed, and with the upheaval of the kingdom, I cannot bring myself to renew my oath to neither Jory Ash nor Jevan Ruric. Neither are ready to rule, and from what I have seen, both are eager to bend the knee to Renatus, a decision which I cannot support. Norland earned it's freedom and stood as a beacon of liberty. It was known as the heart of the free peoples. Who are we if we are not free?

Finally, I take my last action as a Norlander. I, Avalon Silversteed, hereby release all title, and all claim to land or keep, that I ever held or am owed under the Kingdom of Norland. I relinquish my citizenship as a Norlander. I shall not set foot in Norland unless a peaceful need arise, or his majesty Javier Ruric summon me. I shall honor the only oath I took, the oath to serve Javier Ruric directly, not his kin, not his family. When I was knighted I yet again swore only one oath, to Javier Ruric, and none else. I pray the All Father Javier's time does not end swiftly, for it shall be a black day indeed when his skin becomes cold to the touch. Long live Javier Ruric, the unbroken.

To the people of Norland. Many of you have already made your choice. Many of you have chosen not to bend the knee, some of you have chosen to stay. To those who stay I wish you the best of luck, and no ill will. I have fought beside each and every one of you, and therefore can only wish the best for you all. However, heed my warning. Any who attempt to harm those who have chosen to follow me, will be cut down. Any who so much as breath foul intent against my people, shall have their heads separated from their miserable shoulders. I am bound by no oath to not harm anyone, except for his majesty Javier, and therefore I shall not hesitate to deal fatal blows. Myself and my kin shall live out in peace, and I look forward to open diplomacy between us all, and I pray the All Father guides Norland out of it's time of darkness.

    Signed,

Avalon Silversteed, Lord Paramount of House Silversteed
