Anthos had a smaller map, which allowed people to go from one region to the next, it created so many actual rp hubs, it was awesome. It doesn't matter if the 'distances are not accurate', this is an rp server. I have seen it several times if the regions are too far apart, the realm dies. 

As for creating your own settlement and whatnot. It happens all the time that a nation with more land than it knows what do with is requested by a faction to create a settlement, or fortress or whatever, but the nation says no unless you can give 10,000 mina, and stacks of iron. It is a ploy that players in power (*cough* the Emperor *cough*) use in order to keep everyone except their OOC friends from getting anywhere. Arguably a good strategy would be to set a universal price on land, so rulers can ask no more, and perhaps no less, than this price says. These transactions should be monitored by the staff.

Oh my void, if you are going to staff endorse nations, then every nation must have that kind of treatment. Last map we all saw how the Emperor and his entire guard got their assess handed to them when 4 assassins entered the capital. And yet despite rping AND killing the emperor in pvp, he pretends like it didn't happen, and the staff looks the other way. That is what dropped the player base to such a low point not even that long ago. The server is still recovering from that community backlash. Never again should it be allowed to happen.

Thanks Wrynn! Finally an anthos remake, this is the fresh start LOTC needs I believe, and with a healthy community I am very much looking forward to this.

     We all know of Polaris, and its, issues. Polaris has been simply forgotten. Oh really? After the decline of the Dukes of polaris, and after the great Konig took back the corrupt city, everyone just, left Polaris. It is now a ghost town. Or at least it was, until a man, by the name of Leon Oakenleaf, entered the abandoned city and said "This needs some love". Leon spoke to the the great Konig of Asterwald, and requested permission to become the new Duke of Polaris, which he wanted to rename Silverholt. The konig, was unimpressed, for he did not know this man, but he said sure, whey not? "If you wish to become Duke you must first rid the city of the barbaric towers an walls! Let it be open! Create a commerce! Get people active there once again!"

     Leon took this opportunity as a blessing, and worked day and night. Gradually, the city has undergone massive changes, including the destruction of the outer walls, and the creation of the grand Senate of Silverholt which will provide massive roll play in the decisions to come for the city! Because of Leons hard work, he was granted the title of Duke, and now strives to make the city the center for all trade in Athera! The Konig gradually has begun to put his faith in the elf Leon, and his faith was not in vain. "The city is almost ready, almost ready to become the jewel of trade and commerce, all we need, are the people!"

     The of Silverholt, once known as Polaris, is of course, located in the same place as polaris was. Homes are being given to all who want them! The market is slowly growing all it needs are traders! If you think you are a big corporation, or you are just starting out as a trader, this is the city for you! Make a name for yourself! Find yourself a warm bed! No longer is it Polaris! It is reborn! We are for the people! We are for you! No matter who you are! where you have come from! What race you are! All are welcome in the halls of Silverholt!

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi? Living with my kind is what I need, and what I have been doing all my life, to live elsewhere would be impure to me. I cant think of a better way to live than with purity. And the city can offer me that.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill? My physical appearance proves with ease that I am pure, my mind has followed the ways of purity, and has discarded all thought for greed or selfish needs. Nexus Magic's release will likely be staggered a weak or so behind the main release - that's what I know, anyways. 

That stinks I was really looking forward to seeing nexus magic come out with all the other updates... unfortunate oh well
