What’s your character called?: - Lowell Saif What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human, Northerner What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 21 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Griffon Saif, born under the man known as Yokaze “Lowell” Saif, a mysterious man who has gone into hiding shortly after his son was able to handle his own, leaving behind only his legendary treasure of the Saif family, the wolf gauntlets and Sabaton. A few years after, Griffon married a woman under the name of Julia, and a few years after the war between Savoie and Adunia, in which they spent in hiding far in the wilderness, they gave birth to a young boy, in which Griffon named him, in honour of his father whom he still wishes to see once more, Lowell Saif. During the time they spent in the wilderness, they taught Lowell ways to survive in harsh snowy conditions, having him grow fond of snow. Griffon also taught him everything he remembered from his father’s training, using the same martial arts and sword arts techniques to train young Lowell, in any case he needs to protect himself. Only teaching him very little, Lowell was competent but still incomplete in both arts. However, an art he did grow fond of is archery, which his mother Julia had taught him. He was not the best shot, but he enjoyed hunting very much with his mother. However, young Lowell was always pushed by his father to do tasks that are out of his reach, and to just think of them as possible, giving him a false sense of his true abilities, sometimes having thrown himself into many horrible situations. This was not what Griffon was trying to teach the boy, but it stuck with the boy, and he could not bear to try and have him stop, as he seen him slowly grow in skill in whatever near impossible task he pushed himself to do. At the age of twenty, young Lowell was sent off from the camp site. Before he left, his father gave him his jacket to remember him by, as his mother her scarf to remember him. Lastly, his father gave him the Wolf gauntlets and Sabaton, as he was at too old an age to use them. Now Lowell travels the lands, in hopes of finding adventure, and possibly friends. What are they like (personality)?: - Lowell is a rather joyous character, always seeming to find a way to shrug off the negatives in a situation and only think of the positives. At times, he is a bit eccentric and rather stupid, thinking he can do rather impossible feats and sometimes if he is not stopped, he will commit to what he will try and succeed, shrugging off the factors of the impossible and trying to do the possible. He is very social, loving to meet new faces wherever he goes, in hopes of making new friends. He does know if someone is trying to use him by becoming his friend, showing he can be wise as to whom he makes connections with. Once you become his friend, you can know that if anything happens, he will do anything he can do solve the problem. If anyone can deal with him trying to do idiotic things for his more joyous side, you can easily make friends with Lowell. What are their ambitions?: - Although he always tries to do very impossible feats, showing ambition and dedication if not stopped, it is hard to say what ambitions he truly has. However, he does have one thing he strives to do, and that is to learn the art of mana as well as any new martial arts of many types. Do they have any special skills?: - Lowell is self taught in sword arts, showing capability of wielding a sword in a manner that requires speed and precision of slashes to deal any significant damage, lowering stopping power of cuts in favor of more clean cuts. He is also very skilled in martial arts, so far having four main stances that improve in a certain area with each stance. Here are the following stances he has learned along with what they improve. 1. Dragons Claw, Favors Power 2. Steel Guard, Favors Defense 3.Trickster, Favors Movement Speed 4. Palms of Wind, Favors Attack Speed What are their weaknesses?: - His eccentric personality as stated before, can be his downfall, as he can very well injure himself greatly without someone to smack him with reality that he cannot accomplish such feats. Also while in a martial arts stance, he cannot wield a sword at all times, only using his blade as a means of follow up attacks. His stances also prove their massive weaknesses, as shown. 1.Dragons Claw lowers attack speed 2.Steel Guard lowers Movement speed 3.Trickster lowers Defense 4.Palms of Wind lowers Power Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Lowell wears a jacket handed down by his father along with a blue shirt underneath, along with a brown pair of pants. He always seems to wear a pair of gauntlets and boots handed down to him, said to be his grandfathers, and a scarf that was his mothers. His eyes are an ice blue, and his skin is paler then most due to his love for snowy conditions. He has medium length brown wavy hair, showing how much he stays out in nature, allowing the wind to affect his hair. Anything else you want to say about them?: - Most of the things I have for this character were previous thoughts of past characters that were never implemented, or from past characters.
