On minecraft, LoTRO, and a few others. Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - Yes, I played for awhile on one other roleplay server thus far. Have you applied to this server before?(Please link past applications): - n/a How did you hear about us?: - I discovered you guys on PMC awhile back, and some of my friends started playing here recently. What do you think the server will be like? - I expect a quality, role-play experience, better than what I have done previously. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes. What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - "Please don't spam any of our chat feeds - it's just a headache for people reading them." Because it is a headache for me to read it. Definitions What is roleplaying?: - It is to immerse yourself in the setting and play as a character you have created and interact with the world and players around you as that character would. What’s metagaming?: - Using information your character wouldn't know to gain an unfair advantage in-character. What’s powergaming?: - Making your character do overpowered things that are unrealistic or altogether impossible/refusing to let yourself lose, or dissallowing someone to control their own character. In-Character Information What’s your character called?: - Orina Sylawyn What race are they (and sub-race)?: - High Elf What sex are they?: - Female How old are they?: - 19 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Orina can trace her bloodline all the way back ten generations and is a fully pure high elf. Her ancestors lived in Laurelin in Aegis, and The Silver City of Haelun'or in Asulon. They currently live in Lin'evaral. Her family kept themselves very pure by all accounts and are very respectable among high elves. Her Childhood mostly consisted of study. She did not like other children, and saw them as inferior to herself. She had an amazing thirst for knowledge of the world. After many years reading she began to feel discontent with just reading and longed to go out and see the world. However, her parents would not hear of it. For years they held her back from following her heart's desire. She decided that she would prepare for when the time came when she would be able to travel and for the past 3 years she has been sharpening her wits, studing the world, and writing bad poetry. Now that she is older she is prepairing to go off on her own, and doesn't seem to mind that doing so may be very dangerous. What are they like (personality)?: - She is very crafty, always thinking about how to gain from any situation. She is friendly enough when she wants to be, but is rather cold, untrusting, and has a tendency to double-cross if she stands to gain from it. What are their ambitions?: - She wishes to travel the world and see what is to be discovered. Do they have any special skills?: - Unfortunatly she doesn't have any specials skills. What are their weaknesses?: - She tends ot overestimate herself, and underestimate everyone else, and is not very good at combat. She is still very young (by elven standards) and ignorant in some ways. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - She is tall, has blonde hair, and purple eyes. She wears a long white gown with golden trim. She wears no jewelry or makeup, as she looks her best without them. Her skin is pale and almost seems to glow.
