What’s your character called?: - Logan Becton What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human (Northerner) and Elf (Normal) What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 18 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Logan's first memories are of smoke and desolation. His memory is then fuzzy up til the moment in which he awoke at the Cloud Temple, surrounded by the monks. He has no recollection of his family or friends, and often searches for clues to his past. After awakening at the temple at age 16, Logan ran as far and fast as he could, confused and afriad of what was happening. He finally stopped at a lake to take a drink, in which he saw his face for the first time. His left eye was a dark hazel color, while his right eye was inexplicably an almost lime green color. After finally calming down, Logan headed down the path he had taken, traveling for what seemed like days until he reached a town. After asking around, he discovered the town as being named New Albresi. After inquiring what happened to the "old" one, he only received dirty looks and silence. Eventually Logan established a living in which he delivered goods back and forth between people and towns, using his funds for survival and information on his origins. He has yet to dicover where he came from, and whether or not any known relatives or friends still lived. One day, while delivering some tools to a nearby village, he felt a stabbing pain behind his right eye and collapsed on to the ground. As he lay there motionless, he saw visions of people running, houses burning, women, men, and children alike, all being slaughtered. He couldn't move to help any of them, and could only witness the carnage that was unfolding before him. Just as he thought he could not take it anymore, he awoke in a small wooden room. Next to his bed sat a nurse and the town blacksmith that his package had been meant for. After assuring them that he would be okay, Logan went to leave back to his village, but was stopped by the blacksmith, who had heard him talk in his sleep; knwing what horrors he had seen. He offerred Logan a job as his apprentice, in which he would possibly receive better pay, and be able to "learn a thing or two" as the blacksmith put it. Logan accepted his offer, seeing how better pay could benefit his search for answers. Thus, the story of his past ends, and his journey at hand begins. What are they like (personality)?: - Friendly and Honest What are their ambitions?: - To explore the world and experience what it has to offer, as well as to gain as much knowledge as he can. Do they have any special skills?: - He is trained in ranged and melee fighting, and is good at repairing goods. (Not overpowered, just able to use them). What are their weaknesses?: - Normal means of injury. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - He wears a cloak and hood, with a red shroud to hide his face. One of his eyes is oddly lighter than his other due to an incident at a young age. Anything else you want to say about them?: - After several months with the blacksmith, Logan has become accustomed to using tools of all kinds, as well as being trained by the blacksmith in how to use weapons to defend himself. Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Logan was born a half-breed, with his father being a human, and his mother an elf. He was born in the nation of Seventis, after the plague had claimed many lives. While trying to flee the nation, his parents grew ill and eventually succumbed to the disease, leaving him an orphan at age 10. He did not escape unscathed, as the disease blinded him in one eye temporarily, leaving it oddly lighter than his other. He had to fend for himself for several years before stowing away on a ship to areas unknown. He lived his life by the way his parents taught him. He was always taught to return what respect was given to him, and even in cases of disrespect, to try and be the better man. This is how he convinced a member of the ship to allow him on board. Several days into the journey, Logan feared that the ship was heading to the badlands. Luckily, the boat docked at a small, remote island in the middle of the ocean. At age 12, a local group of citizens took him in and raised him. He learned the arts of fighting using several tools, eventually becoming skilled in melee and ranged combat. He was able to make a living by doing jobs for the townsfolk, including repairing equipment and delivering goods. As he grew up, Logan started to want to explore new lands, see new sights, learn new things! Sadly, his wish came true when, one day, his small island village was swept away by a giant storm, leaving him clinging to a piece of driftwood to stay afloat. Everyone else from the village was washed away as well, scattered in all directions. Slowly, he began to lose hope that he would ever see land again, until one day, as the sun beat down on his head, in the distance he heard voices conversing. Unable to shout for help, or even swim at all, he began to drift towards the now visible shoreline. As he got closer, the voices paused and then began to chatter excitedly, and he saw several figures scrambling into the water. As the figures became clearer, he saw that they were indeed trying to come to his aid. Logan felt relief rush through his body, and as he relaxed, his mind began to fade, until eventually, he blacked out. He woke up several hours later in an inn, with several figures standing around him. Before losing consciousness again, he heard someone mention the name Anthos. Logan's mind began to wander again, and the room began to spin, before finally fading to black. Thus, his tale of adventure officially began.
