Not sure how long others take for college midterms, but mine lasted a week and only a week.
Yeah, but the other Pontiff didn't even start making a decent Scrolls. So the one week where he couldn't work on them slowed us down.

The church is too radical and complicated. Those without an indepth understanding of the theological doctrine have absolutely no idea about the "true faith" and in order to gain access to the religious documents of the true faith you have to be within the church. Most members of the Orenian church (lets not kid around no other race or nation but oren is at all involved in that faith) probably couldn't quote a single passage from any of the holy scriptures of the faith yet they run around screaming heretic and exterminatus. As far as i've seen the entire system just causes tension and devides. Why don't you stop running around using the big book as a hammer for factions that oren doesn't like and become more involved with other nations, set up schools for the faith go on missions to convert others to the true faith get involved in charity, stop doing boring sermons and find a more creative engaging way to worship.
We are working on finishing the scrolls so we can get them out there...The problem was that cracker had exams so he didn't have the time to work on them.As for the going on mission to convert others, I'm thinking the problem is inactivity...Although I like to go around asking nicely if people would like to hear about teh Creator.

Frankly, the condemnation of imperialism isn't very difficult, and would be seen as a step towards the center. The issue remains that the vocal and active portion of the Orenian populace is militantly radical, and would oppose such condemnations as undue imposition of the church into secular politics. Quite honestly, I would rather the Church just avoid involvement in secular politics and let things unfold as they will, which brings me to my concern.
If I were to voice one big complaint about the church that I know isn't already being worked on, it would be a complete separation from secular politics unless the situation creates a clear and direct obstacle in the continuance of the faith/church. The Church at the present is viewed as a chiefly Orenian entity, and even though Aesterwald etc. compose a solid chunk of the active human player base, they cannot fully devote themselves to the faith due to its political associations and motives.During the conflicts bettween Oren and Awesterwald the church declared neutrality. In my oppinion that was a big step in the separation from politics.

What you're forgetting is that the Church can manipulate the politics of Oren quite easily by simply condemning something. Condemn it, and all those who ignore it can be marked as apostates. That would, include your Fidei Defensor. Although I find it questionable that you've, once again, taken from Christianity for that, since there's nothing to defend the faith from.
The problem is that if we do that, people will complain that we are too radical.

Accepted - Note: Less-powerful countries can start off as a Union as long as it is approved by a mod and all the nations in it are not being played.
So does that mean I have aprovel?

I'll give you a little back story. After the 2008 crisis Portugal was weak, the populous saw the failure of the republic and riots started to happen. Many of those riots were pro-monarchists movements. In 2016 the state issued a referendum to see the precentage of the populous wanted a monarchy. The majoraty voted yes, although most of the people wanted a king the republic denied them.In 2018 a group of generals and lieutenants marched their troops to the capital with the goal of restoring the monarchy. When they got there was little opposition, the prime minister and the president resigned and a monarch was placed on the throne of Portugal. The old house of Bragança ruled again, now with a unfied government the country finnaly is in better shape after the 2008 crisis. In 2020 talks bettween Brazil and Portugal started happening. They came to a conclusion that to undure in this fractured world they must unfied. So a treaty bettween Portugal and Brazil was signed, the treaty stated that, Brazil would recognize the Portuguese monarchy as it's rulling body but Brazil will keep it's Prime Minister that was elected democraticly, and that those countries would have oppen borders and free trade (much like the EU).In 2026 both Angola and Mozambique joined the coaltion. Will this Alliance endure?
Sorry if I misspelled something, it's late and I'm tired.
Would you like to be considered to be a mod? Y/N:Nah.0 -
Banned for not doing what he told you to do.

I know it has been said I have read the comments, just made a response either way. There is a lot more than just to be less radical. The whole system needs to fit too. There currently is no real class and etiquette in Oren, that is important since faith is often paired with social status. The concept of royalty and imperialism is just not there. A lot of work needs to be done and I doubt it will change anytime soon. Best of luck of course.
Well the church isn't reponsible with making things impirialistic...That's outside our grasp.

If you haven't noticed by now ppl tend to not like it. Faith is used when it is beneficial, no one goes to church. Because it is boring. It is boring since it is basically RP without any progress. The Oren set is after all somewhat golden and a lot of the faith is used for negative things rather than good. I honestly think that Oren church is a failure in which no one comes because of this. It's too raducal and extreme for most people. Sorry!
*sigh* Again....If you read what I've posted in response to that feedback...You would not post this.I've said like 6 times, that we are getting less radical, and we made a liturgy for masses etc.

First I've ever heard of this. For the entirety of my time on the server until now, the angels and daemons have rested -outside- the acceptable doctrines. Perhaps the final fix is simply a thread containing everything a layman would need to know?
Noted.I'll talk to the Pontiff. Thanks for the feedback.

Cracker is a great guy, he answers my question about the church (Even when I'm annoying) and isn't bias. So +1 from me.

Kristoff raises a brow. "So the waldonians want to make the empire weaker?...."

Honestly the only Creatorism rp I see is people running around calling other people sodomites, heretics etc if they don't 100% submit to the creator. It seems very much "With us or against us, respect the creator or die". I understand that it's very much due to Oren's culture but I personally find it off putting.
That's what we are trying to steer away from.We want the church to be less militaristic.

Kristoff kneels infront of a cross he joins his hands and prays to the Creator "Oh Lord, have piety on our poor sinful souls..." He continues his normal prayer and when he reaches the head he says with a sigh. "And to those that fell in the darkness of Iblees, grant them for the last remaning purity they have in their hearts, grant them a quick death." He stands bowing to the cross before going to bed blowing out the candles, leaving no light but the moon's light shining on the cross.
