Why don't we use original ideas for a religion instead of blatantly ripping off of irl religions,

Again...We are trying to make it more original...

It is very similar to Christianity and Islam.

 

My main problem is I am a very strong atheist so I think it seeps into my rp a little. Switch it up a bit, Make it your own and maybe I won't hate it as much...

Again...As I responded to the other comment, we are trying our best to make it different and original, although some similarities will continue on the church's dogmas.

Honestly? I liked the old church, before Godanistan and before Latin. It was just: "Hey, we worship the creator." And that really was pretty much it.

Godanistan is just another word the word for Creator in the Raevir speach, and latin is what the servants of teh creator speak, although I'm pretty sure we call it a different name, that why we use it in chants which are original and hand crafted.

I've never liked it. It's kind of blatantly christianity, which brings up far too much IRL cringing for me. Dunno about others. I'd like some originality maybe. I mean we're presented with a free, open fantasy world and we go for a god people go for in real life? Why not have some rad creation story, or say your god is actually a dragon in the sky who rules over the other god-dragons and keeps order. I'unno. Hard to give "specific ideas" for "be original" without writing up a whole thing.

- one more thing. The use of actual christian language is waaay too much. Sodom never existed in LotC. Pls. I'd like to see, even if there's no originality in structure, drawing from actual, well.. canon.

The Herrick Family.

Origins.

The Herrick family has some Hansetian origins, even though they have lost mostly their accent, their names still sound Hansetian.

Tradition and Appearance

Their traditions vary from the branches of the family, there is the Siegfried branch and there is the Johanne branch.

The Siegfried family branch.

Tradition-They are more Hansetian like, they retain much of the Hansetian accent, and much of it’s tradition.

Appearance-They generaly have blond hair, and blue eyes.

The Johanne family branch.

Tradition-The Johanne branch is much less Hanseti like, they don’t have little to no accent, and the only hint of their accent is when they say their last name.They also are very religious, beliving in the Creator.
