Hi! I have been searching for good Minecraft roleplaying servers for a couple of years now, but am surprised that i haven't seen yours before. I hope that i can meet your expectations as a player and that the server and community will meet mine. Without any further ado, here's my application.

How did you hear about us?
I learned about the server from a video on youtube of a kid playing on the server.
What do you think the server will be like?
A good roleplay server where you can be your character and have fun in Minecraft along with other players.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?
I wouldn't be sending in an application if i didn't read the rules, which is a roundabout way of saying yes.
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?
The mechanical standard, that you cant roleplay what you cant do in Minecraft. I like it because it retains the bounds of the Minecraft world without making unfair things like ropes in roleplay possible.
Definitions
What is roleplaying?
Pretending and acting to be something other than you are normally, like talking to other players in an accent and actually eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner like my character would do, when normally i would just eat when i get hungry.
What’s metagaming?:
As best as i can explain, its when you use things that you know in real life, but that your character couldn't do or wouldn't understand or know about to your advantage.
What’s powergaming?
Being stronger than your character would normally be, like rp fighting for an hour and still be strong enough to fight a score of bandits, or randomly getting help from a mysterious daemon and destroying half a town and killing two guards with it.

Helki. I would use Pellicudar but i feel Helki fits my character more.
What race are they (and sub-race)?
I had a hard time with this. I was going to be a half elf and half kharajyr until i found that there is no such thing, so i decided to be a wood elf instead.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family.(Include server lore when writing):
In my characters childhood they spent long hours training, from learning to run and climb trees like a squirrel to fighting with a sword and bow. At the age of 30 he made some attempts at starting a band of monster hunters, but only succeeded in uniting two of his best friends. The fighting went well for a couple of weeks, for they only found a few monsters and those they killed quickly. But then they were attacked in the early morning by a mob of monsters and he ran like a coward. Both of his friends died, but he managed to escape. When he returned home to his town, a small wood-elf village called waseyr, in the western elf lands of anthos, his dead companions were praised as heroes, and mourned, but he was shunned as a coward. The town threw him out, and his family didn't talk to him again. With no where else to go, he went to live by himself in the forest for a few years.he slowly travelled deeper and deeper into the forests, and became really good at surviving in the wilderness. He almost became a druid in those years, and almost decided to live alone forever. Then the unexpected happenned. Anthos was destroyed, and he barely made it to the fringe on time. In this new realm, he decided that he would no longer hide in the forest, that he needed to be with other beings. Having no ties to the world, he convinced himself that his purpose should be to help all he could, and get rid of those monsters. Now he spends time going to and fro throughout the land, talking with people and helping whoever he can, killing foul monsters, and sometimes trying the odd job on the side. After the death of his friends, he lost fear of death or injury, and is very courageous.
What are they like (personality)?
Strong, fast, likes helping, courageous, understands the beauty of nature, sometimes grim and determined, but always trying to do right.
What are their ambitions?:
To help anyone they can, to destroy as many monsters as possible.
Do they have any special skills?
Normal fighting skill for a wood elf, which means he's fast and agile. Tough, knows both sword and bow, can survive in wild. Experienced fighter.
What are their weaknesses?
No family, little friends, (though he's friendly to everyone) no ties to the world, only his purpose of helping defeat monsters.

Short, lighter blond hair, then normal, strong but not super muscled, green eyes.

After many attempts at intergrating some lore, i had to go with what pumkin suggested and add the verge and my town. I was going to add some stuff with an ent but decided it was a little too out of the ordinary. Thanks!
