On the inside, she is humble and pure and will fight for those that she loves with a fiery heart and undying determination. She has an outgoing and happy outlook on life and generally enjoys the company of other, be it sparring in the courtyard or revelling in victory at the tavern. For the most part however, she is a stable and collected individual in normal, everyday life and is very approachable. In combat she is relentless, pushing her body to its maximum capacity and using up everything she has before even thinking of backing down. Unlike her mother however, she doesn’t take as much time to plan her move before executing it and thus she becomes impatient when strategizing. She has an extremely kind heart for those around her and loves the company of her two siblings, even if there is usually some friendly competition between them. Saphyra would die before she saw either of them hurt. Known History: Saphyra Wilde was born to her parents Sapphire and Ezekiel Wilde in the year 1682. She was the first of three kids in the Wilde family, however the only one born to Sapphire, who was executed for high treason and sedition only weeks after Saphyra’s birth. Her father Ezekiel who was overburdened with the responsibilities of the town and was undergoing tremendous grief from the death of his wife, quickly became resigned. He would spend most nights in the great hall drinking away his anger and sorrow, not spending a moment with his child. This left Saphyra’s aunt, Leene, to care for his daughter. Saphyra was raised with the intent of being the next heir to the head of House Wilde, brought up learning the traditions of the House and taking a light education in the politics of the land. Along with her younger step-brother, she also learned basic combat skills and excelled in swordplay, often sparring with him when she wasn’t with her tutor. It was here where Saphyra found what she really wanted to. She wanted to become just like her mother, a knight of the Empire. Years later, Ezekiel returned to take over the garrisoned hamlet that had been originally founded by his wife in the years before and soon remarried to restore the town to its full strength. It wasn’t long after that Saphyra’s step-sister Gwen was born.

In-Character Information Character’s name: Jacqueline Elaine Ambroise Harcourt Character’s sex: Female Character’s race: Human Character’s age: Twenty Biography: Jacqueline was born the 9th of The Amber Cold 1567 in the city of Blackwald, located in the duchy of Savoy. As a descendant of the Harcourt lineage, she was raised a noble of that house. She was taught to read and write in private classes and took a liking to the more academic side of her teachings over the more practical, hands on lessons. She did learn to fight at at least a basic level, though most of her time was spent behind the pages of books and the parchment of scrolls, studying the deities and the great magic users of the land. While shadowed by her brother who had joined the Johannian Legion, Jacqueline had pursued her interests in the non-physical world. She had found a new drive to learn the mysterious skills it held, all against the will of her now deceased parents. They had perished shortly after contracting a disease similar to smallpox. Jacqueline and her brother had barely gotten word of the contraction when they were called back to Blackwald for the funeral. Four years later after giving into her brother’s requests, Jacqueline had finally agreed to move to the family homestead in Johanessburg and learn combat skills from him. While not wanting to spend her life as a soldier, she took on a more passive approach, learning with light single handed blades and armor that provided her with good mobility. Jacqueline still held a passion for magic however, and continued her pursuit for knowledge and someone to guide her. Personality Traits: Jacqueline is a calm individual who prefers to watch from a distance rather than involve herself directly. She is very patient, analytical and loyal to a fault. She can be cold and blunt and is slow to trust those she does not know. However, she has a soft spot under all of this; Jacqueline loves children. Ambitions: Jacqueline has been inspired to become an elementalist since she began her schooling. She is determined to find someone to teach her and will never let it go. Strengths/Talents: Jacqueline is fairly good in hand to hand combat thanks to her brother, and can handle herself in most common bar brawls and light skirmishes. Weaknesses/Inabilities: She lacks the physical stamina that most fighters have and can tire quickly in extended skirmishes, having not trained as much in combat as some others. She is also rather weak in comparison, sporting more of a scholar’s build over a warrior’s. Appearance: Jacqueline stands at 5’7” with a thin build to her. Long brown locks of hair border her quiet, gentle face and fall gently to her shoulders.
