He is the youngest of the three brothers and was a child growing up in the Imperial capital on the Fringe. He was not raised easily and his brothers taught him the way of the world, training with him often and teaching him how to fight with sword and axe. But above all he enjoyed being in the woods and at one with the trees. However he was driven to great sadness by the dying of the forests and animals after the Khorvad's Grip hit the realm. He fled along with many others to Thales. Since then he has not found his brothers and does not know if they are alive or dead. What are they like? (personality): - Given his difficult childhood and being the youngest of three brothers Astan is a angry and often violent man. He is quick to take offence and will never back down from any situation where he believes himself to be right. However when not angered he is a gentle and often calm man. He is very much a gentle giant. What are their ambitions?: - He desires to find his brothers and to be reunited and to once more swing sword and axe with them. Against any enemy, human or other. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Astan is an excellent farmer and lumberjack he knows the ways of the forest and earth and is also excellent at tracking any kind of movement through them. However he has a great weakness for women, which has lead to many problems and fights. Women and food are both problems in equal measure. He loves to eat as well, often sampling a little too much of the fruits of the earth. - During Astan's childhood, whilst he was playing with friends, he fell from a tree and shattered bones in his ankle. Although his ankle has healed now he still walks with a slight limp which leads to a slight disadvantage when he engages in combat.
