  1. Application What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: - Glowstardust How old are you?: - 17 Have you ever roleplayed on a minecraft server before? If so, where?: - Alonian, but it's not online anymore. Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications): - No, I didn't How did you hear about us?: - A friend of mine told me about LotC What do you think the server will be like? - Interesting. I expect it to be giving me the chance to achieve new experiences in the field of roleplaying. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Of course, I agree to all of them. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - "Metagaming and powergaming of any kind are not allowed." That's the rule I agree with the most because it's the foundation of an enjoyable roleplay experience. Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- Yes, I absolutley do. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so maybe we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules):- No, everything's understandable. Definitions These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is playing a fictive, non-existant character, which has its own backround, personality and ambitions in a (usually) fantasy world.. Basically, you are acting like you are this person and you try to make the character's behavior in plots it might become a part of seems as realistic and logical as possible in accordance to your character's person. What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is the use of OOC information IC. In Minecraft for example, recognizing someone by his MC-name only because of the name tag above his/her head is a kind of metagaming. What’s powergaming?: -Powergamers want to give as much strength to their characters as possible, which usually ends up being unfair for other players you are roleplaying with. For example: Making your character an unbeatable fighter or mage in RP, even though you only just created it and basically do not have any legit source of experience. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: - Lee What race are they? (and sub-race if applicable): - Human, Highlander What gender are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 29 Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): Lee was growing up in a small room at the main farm at the city of Salvus under rather poor circumstances, since his parents did not own a farm themselves and were merely very basic workers and so was Lee, too. His entire childhood he had been leading a very simple life and almost every evening he caught himself staring at the setting sun at the horizon, wondering what lands there might be where the sun sets and always feeling the urge within him to drop his tools and simply follow his symbol of longing. „Is this truely all there is to my life? Is this what I will be doing until I die, never truely having lived at all?“, these were the two quesstions he would ask himself every single day after having worked on the fields as the sun disappeared and night fell. Things changed when one day his parents, who had indeed noticed their son's behavior, reavealed to him, that they had adopted him after finding him at the shore as a baby, barely alive and without any parents or other people around him. They told him he does not owe anything to them since they're not his real parents and he should go and find his peace in this world by himself and once he did so, return to them and let them know he's doing well. It took him quite a while to actually build up the courage to do so, but, still loving his adoptive parents for what they did for him, he gave in to his burning desire for more reason in his life and set out on his journey. During the chaos caused by the fall of Anthos, the Fringe and the following journey to Thales, Lee proved to be a rather talented survivalist and eventually managed to find his way through the hostile environments he found himself confronted with. His will to live became far more intense shortly after he left his parents and he's far happier than before but there's two things that still trouble his mind, the first one being not having found a true meaning in his life yet and the second one would be the fact that he does no longer know, if he'll ever return to his parents once again to see their happy faces when they realize their son found his own path. What are they like? (personality): - He is really determined and open-minded, but with his rough way of acting, he got problems to find friends. Being educated by his more than gentle parents, he's got a strong sence of justice, which means that he will try to support people in need as far as possible. He's no hero, but he does his best to keep an untroubled consience- Because of his poor familiar backround, he is very modest. He is quite provokable, if someone behaves or speaks against his ethical values. Even though he wants justice and equality, he generally dislikes orcs in the first place. He thinks that they are the oppsoite of an asset to the general well and abominates the typical orcs for their mental traits just like the aggressive and brutish way they act. What are their ambitions?: - He is trying to build up a life and a place in this world for himself, trying to do so in cooperation with like-minded people, since he knows that he's only stong as a member of a group and is not strong enough to achieve anything great by himself. Currently, he is trying to achieve this by assisting the community he joined up with on Thales to build a village, which should be the place where his children could live, in the case that he gets some. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): Strengths: He is talented, but not yet fully trained in the usage of a sword. Since he is naturally rather smart and nimble, he is training hard to use these advantages to become a decent fighter. His weaknesses are far more numerous, most importantly his comparatively low physical strength, which is due to the low ammount of nutrition he recieved in his childhood. This also makes him a bad miner, since he's not that good at swinging a pickaxe. In addition, he is not very aloquent, which would make him a bad merchant and proves to be a problem when it comes to communication in general. Furthermore, he can hardly swim at all. Give us a description of how they look?: - He got light black hair with a short pony tail. He is medium tall, about 5.7 feet and slim. His skin is rather bright and his eyes are blue. Besides, he got a 3-day beard most of the time. His clothes are grey but got a slight hint of blue color mixed into them. Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin: http://www.directupload.net/file/d/3712/ott73zhg_png.htm
