If so, where?: - Yes, on a friend's server, based on the Youtube series "Shadow of Israphel". A fantasy server like this one, but focused more on comedy than actual RP. Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications): - No. How did you hear about us?: - Searching for RP servers on the interwebs. What do you think the server will be like? - From what I've seen as a Wandering Soul, a big open area, with lots of people to interact with. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - Don't overuse resources. It happens a lot on survival servers, but doesn't make much sense on an RP one, and can get annoying. What is roleplaying?: - Acting as a character you are playing. For example, if I was roleplaying a heroic Knight, I would act kind, and have a strong sense of justice. What’s metagaming?: - Knowing something OOC that you don't know IC, but having your character act on this thing. An example would be translating runes to English, even though my character can't read the runes. What’s powergaming?: - When you control not only your actions, but another player's/NPC's as well. Most common in fight scenes, where a player could say "I shoot you in the chest and you die". In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: - Damian Grayson. What race are they? (and sub-race if applicable): - Human. What gender are they?: - Male. How old are they?: - Unknown, but estimated to be around 19. Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Damian Grayson was born in Anthos, in Abresi's slums. His mother died at childbirth, and his father was a drunkard. Due to this, Damian was passed around the slums when he was young, as his father was deemed unfit to care for him by the other residents. When Damian reached 8 years old, the residents stopped caring for him, as he was old enough to fend for himself. He spent a lot of time reading, as he would gather books people had dropped or thrown away. Damian became very interested in magic, especially that of Void Magic. When he was 14 years old, he became a thief, and worked for a small band of criminals. While he initially found this exciting, he soon started feeling guilty over his actions, and he ended up hating the other thieves and criminals he worked with, as most of them enjoyed the cruelness of it. After two years of this, he decided to leave Abresi, and attempt to learn Void Magic. He began learning the art of Evocation, particularly the art of Air Evocation. He has lost track of the time he spent learning magic, and has recently decided to find other magic wielders to help teach him. What are they like? (personality): - Damian is very curious about life, and enjoys reading up on new things he learns. He likes exploring, and is fairly energetic, often bouncing around the place, to the annoyance of others. He is often naive about things, and is fairly gullible. In spite of this, however, Damian is fairly clever, and uses his intelligence in his attempt to learn magic. He doesn't like getting into fights, due to experiences when he was a thief in Abresi. Because of this, he has little to no combat experience. However, Damian is fiercely loyal to his friends,and will stand up for them if need be. What are their ambitions?: - Damian intends to become a mage, and wants to find the magic type that suits him best. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Damian is an avid reader, and will turn to books to answer most of his questions. He is also a fairly quick learner, as he understood the concept of magic at a young age. Damian's main weakness is that he is fairly weak, and cannot fight well. He also has a strong hatred/fear of bandits, as they remind him of his childhood in the slums. Give us a description of how they look?: - Damian has curly blonde hair that goes down to his shoulders. He is fairly tall, and is quite thin and scrawny, due to his lack of food. Damian wears a pair of goggles on his head, for no other reason than he believes they look cool on him. Damian's clothes are fairly upper-class, despite his upbringing in the slums. He has a white shirt, a vest and a tie that he stole from a wealthy man who the other criminals mugged in an alleyway one night. Damian also has a scar across his left eye, which he got during the early days of thievery, in an attempt to steal a coin purse off an armed man. Needless to say, it ended badly for Damian.
