What is roleplaying?: - roleplaying is acting out a fictional character. What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming, is using OOCly gained information, ICly to your advantage. What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is acting your character out to be more powerful then he/she truly is/can be. Powergaming is also forcing rp on other people without them getting a chance to reply to your rp actions. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Ronan grew up as a blacksmith's son, upon the age of two, his mother gave birth to twins, Myra and Lenwe. But sadly, upon the birth of the two children, his mother became ill, knowing that she would not last long, she spent most of her time with Ronan, telling him all that she knows. The day after Ronan became eight, he found his mother's lifeless body laying down on her bed. His father, Ruean, became hid his sorrow, for he knew that he had gained the task to take care of her three children.They moved to live in Aldersberg, a settlement in the Third Orenian Empire, where Ruean earned his living in a smithy, Ever since the day Ronan's mother died, his father has been working in the forge most of the day, to earn a solid living, so that he may feed her three children. Ronan, as the eldest of three, was taught the skills of a smith by his father, so that one day he too may work in a forge of his own. At the age of fourteen, Ronan started to help his father in the forge, creating a living of his own, which he of course, spend into taking care of Myra and Lenwe. Ruean send Ronan to collect supplies and firewood for the forge, but as Ronan got older, so did his father, who grew tired of the hard labour he did each day. His mind got slow and his muscles grew weak, eventualy his father could not keep up rent, knowing that they would not survive the next winter, Ronan decided to leave his family, so that they had lesser mouths to feed. As he left, he said goodbye to his sister and brother, but not to his father. His father was furious, but knew that it was the only way for them to survive. So, Ronan ran throughout the forest where he would collect the firewood, and began the search of a new home, eventually, he aproached a hermit's cabin in the middle of the woods, he slowly entered, and saw an old lady sitting their, preparing herbs. He told the lady his story, and she decided to take him in. As the years passed by, the lady became to old, and eventually died. With nothing left but the hermit's home and a rusty sword given by his father, he set out to seek fortune of his own.. And to seek his family. What are they like? (personality): - Ronan's, stuborn, loyal, sly and brave. Brave, but not the brightest of all, he may show glimps of kindness, but some traits might contradict with that. What are their ambitions?: - To server his lord and become a renowned smith. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Ronan, was thaught how to forge swords and knows how to handle them. Ronan, can not read, nor write. Ronan, can not swim.
