What do you think the server will be like? - I think it'll be a big roleplay server with a friendly community and staff with some pretty cool plugins and profession system (I've heard it's kinda cool) Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes. What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is enacting as a character and bringing them to life by giving them their own personality and playing them out. What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is when a person uses information he/she gathered out-of-character, and applied it in-character. What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is forcing actions on others without their consent or leaving time for a response. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Kiefer was born to a some-what wealthy Highlandish family in Petrus. Her father, Fenris Wolf-Heart, was a soldier in the Imperial Legion. Her mother, Sif, was a cook at the local tavern. As Kiefer grew it became apparent she was an unruly child, preferring to hunt, climb and fish then adorn her hair in pretty bows and wear dainty dresses, much to her mother’s bane. Ever much the troublemaker, Kiefer got into scrapes with the town guards for petty things such as fighting with the older village children, trying to prove her mettle to them, and the occasional stealing from market stalls, luckily for Kiefer they thought her cute and endearing than criminal. Fearing her daughter was turning into a tear away youth, Sif sent her daughter to be raised by her father when Kiefer was ten, unable to cope with Kiefer’s bad behavior. This caused Kiefer to have jaded and bitter feelings towards her mother, a lingering feeling of abandonment and disappointment was what she felt towards Sif. Her father had a different view of his daughter’s way, he saw himself as a lad in her and knew she was restless and wanted to be a warrior like him. So with Fenris taking up mercenary work after the war, he took his daughter travelling throughout Athera while teaching her everything she needed to know about combat, especially training her in two-handed weapons which she become skilled in using. At fifteen, Fenris gifted her with an Orcish Greatsword he acquired after a raid on an Orcish bandit camp. Due to her adventures around the continent, she developed a cool and respectful attitude to different races, unlike some of her Highlander kinsmen. When not doing contract work, Fenris took his daughter on hunting expeditions in forests and woodlands in their host country. Kiefer felt at home in the forests, awestruck at how their beauty masked how dangerous they could be. It was during these hunts Fenris taught his daughter archery, Kiefer becoming a good shot with a bow. At nineteen, Kiefer made her own way with his father’s blessing. She returned to Petrus after a year and a half of travelling on her own and wandered her birthplace in a nomadic fashion, occasionally she did return to her father’s house in Petrus from time to time after going rough for a while. After returning to Athera, she began work as a sell-sword and made extra money by hunting and trapping, a skill in which she naturally excelled which led her to become a hunter, looking for any work she could find in the lands of Athera. What are they like? (personality): - Kiefer is loyal, no two doubts about it. Be it against dragon or beast, she'll be at your back till the bitter end, and she would rather see herself fall than a loved one, impulsively throwing herself into deadly situations just to save the people she loves. This behavior can lead people to view her as careless and bullheaded and impetuous, which is true to a point. She can be aloof, stubborn and cautious towards strangers, acting cold towards them at first but once they put the effort into getting to know her they find out they've made a lifelong ally. Yet making friends for Kiefer can be hard, she is a loner by nature and it takes effort to garner her trust and warmth but those who do hold a special place in her heart. Quick and fiery-tempered, Kiefer's flaw is she is annoyed easy and has little patience and acts rude when it is altogether lost. What are their ambitions?: - To make a living a becoming a hunter in Athera and make a name for herself, and hopefully find a loving husband to start a family with. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Kiefer is a talented hunts-woman, trapper, and generally skilled in archery, and educated on various different cultures form being on adventures with her father. Despite being on many adventures with her father, she hasn't been in much combat outside of hunting and trapping animals, and wouldn't stand much of a chance in combat by herself. Give us a description of how they look?: - Kiefer is of average height for a Highlander and is slender and lean due her rustic way of life. Her wavy, russet hair falls to her chest, the reddish tint to it compliments her lurid green eyes. Her figure is not atypical of a Highlander woman, she is more boyishly built than an average curvaceous woman; slight hips hang just below a small chest, she more built of sinew than of curves. Her facial features are structured precisely with high and jutting cheekbones, narrow-jaw and a thin nose. The overall high and angular position of her facial bones make Kiefer seem almost vulpine in appearance. Pink lips lay just under her nose, they are heart-shaped and full, forever seemed pressed into a natural pout. Thick and striking brows lay just atop her oval eyes, a feathering of dark eyelashes circle them. Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin: -
