His father Tulios Dark Winder and his mother Julien Dark Winder lived with them on the outskirts of the city. When Farinth was a small child (6-8) he would play with his sister in the fields of their family's farm. Near the end of the day his father would take him out to the forge in the back and instruct him in the ways of a blacksmith. Of course Farinth being so little could little but watch and occasionally help his father heat the metal but he was still highly interested in the matter. When Farinth was 10 his father enlisted in the UAC to fight the dwarves in the Dwarf-Oren War. His father started out making weapons for the army but in a short time he became a highly respected Commander. When his father would come home from fights he would show Farinth how to wield a sword. One night after Farinth's father had been gone for an unusual amount of time a lone soldier who was badly wounded showed up at their door step. After the soldier came in Farinth's mother went to tend to his wounds in the other room. After awhile she came back out with a look of utter shock and desolation in her eyes. She knelt down beside Farinth and his sister and said "My babies, oh my sweet sweet babies, your father won't be coming home..." and she broke down crying. As Farinth's sister and mother were crying on the floor he, as in a trance, walked into the other room and asked the soldier how his father had died. The soldier told him of how his father had fought bravely against the Dwarves but was simply outnumbered in the end and was killed. Every year after his father's death Farinth was in the fields helping his mother and sister tend to the crops, helping them prepare for winter. In the winters his mother would teach him to read and show him how to add and subtract numbers. The soldier that had told Farinth about his father's death had become close friends with him and was now teaching him the ways of the sword and forge in place of his father. And the last of his teachers was a local monk who taught him the ways of the gentleman and how to tend to wounds. The Year Farinth turned twenty his mother died leaving the farm to him and his sister. His sister had married that year so Farinth being the gentleman that he was saw it fit to give the farm to her and her husband Mike. After Farinth said his goodbyes he left the farm to seek out the land he had purchased in Anthos. When he arrived he found that the land he had bought was already settled on buy a poor farmer and his wife. Him being a bit to nice for his own good gave up the land to them and lived with them for a year. At the end of the year he decided that he would travel farther out into Anthos, join the military, and avenge his father's death one way or another. What are they like? (personality): - He wants whats best for everyone but it comes out wrong sometimes. He is also kind, brave, adventures, headstrong, and a gentleman.
