I've been looking at Roleplaying servers in the past and it seems that most of the time if you die the character is gone for good, but here it’s a 30 minute area deterrent and you’re still that character. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! What is roleplaying?: Playing a character as that character rather than someone playing a game. What is metagaming?: Using knowledge that you have gained as a player that your character has not legitimately learned to make in character decisions. Example: I was talking to somebody OOC and they told me about a time when their character did something to someone. My character would not know that information because it came from an out of character source. What is powergaming?:Making decisions for other players actions or forcing them to physically take an action instead of fairly RP'ing it out. Powergaming Example RP: Kiir kicks Elaith over onto the ground and jumps on him pinning Elaith. It should go more like this alternating between people: Kiir kicks at Elaith. Elaith is hit in the stomach and falls back. Kiir Moves to tackle Elaith. Elaith fails to dodge and is tackled to the ground. Kiir moves to pin Elaith beneath him. Elaith is pinned. In-Character Information Character’s name: Ashiirra Azaria Character’s gender: Female Character’s race: Wood Elf Character’s age: 43 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Ashiirra was born to Wood elves, Jarren and Ariina. Both were explorers in the lands of Anthos, and both were slain there soon after Ashiirra's birth. Fortunately a mage who owned the two a life debt saved Ashiirra from the same fate and returned her to her mother’s family farm to be raised by her grandparents. As a lass, Ashiirra was always exploring the lands around the farm and shrugging off her chores. Her grandparents had little time to pay attention to her so she often got away with it. Upon reaching adult hood Ashiirra left the farm to begin exploring herself however she knew that she would not make it far without training. So she joined a group of elven rangers who worked for the Convlave of Malin. Here she learned many skills with both bow and dagger, her preferred weapons. She also learned much about the forests and its creatures. During the days of the Black Scourge Ashiirra fought among many others and somehow managed to survive until the escape to the fringe. Here she broke off from the rangers and began loosely exploring. She took up lumbering here as well, figuring that she could use her knowledge to only take what the forest could provide in excess. Ashiirra followed along with the many other people as they passed from the Fringe to Thales to Anthera. Here she tends to be around the forests of Fiandria but has been known to wander much further than those trees. She has yet to make any formal ties with any nation and has operated as a free spirit on her own. Personality Traits: Ashiirra is quiet but friendly. She enjoys the forests and everything in it and wishes to protect it. She also loves to explore the world. Ambitions: Ashiirra wishes live a good life and leave the world better then when she arrived. Strengths/Talents: Ashiirra is excellent with a bow and knowledgeable about forest and nature. Weaknesses/Inabilities: She tends to be overprotective of her friends, and is not very good at magic. She is also a terrible negotiator when it comes to markets. Ashiirra is very thin and has small breasts. She often wears purple dyed clothing. Raised by her grandparents she was an adventurous lass, always skipping out on chores to be in the forest. Growing up she learned much of horticulture and of creatures of the forests. After escaping to Athera, Ashiirra found herself in the forests of Fiandria like many other elves. Here she wanders about doing odd jobs and exploring. What are they like?
