Out-Of-Character Information: What is your minecraft account name?: mackattack8284 How old are you?: I am 14 years old Are you aware that this server is PG-13? (you wont be denied for being under 13.): Yes I am aware of that. Have you applied for this server before? (please link all past applications): This is my second application, you can find my first application at: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/117721 Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes What's the rule you agree with the most?: The moderator shopping rule Are there any rules that confuse you or don't make sense?: Nope rules are pretty straight forward How did you find out about Lord Of The Craft?: The RP server I was on shut down due to lack of interest so I was on the market for a new server and found this, it looked fun so I registered. Definitions: What is Roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you assume the position of a specific character and are forced to act as they would act or think as they would think. What is Metagaming?: Metagaming (from what I understand) is when you use knowledge or experience for your gain that your character does not have. What is Powergaming?: Powergaming (also from what I know) is when someone doesn't think about the atmosphere of the game or the players, but only plays for their usurped achievements and there end goals. In-Game Information: Character Name: Fraudu'lenti (Latin word for Trickster or fiend) Character Gender: Male Character Race: Orc (Goblin) Character Age: 26 Biography: In the outskirts of Werdenberg thrust in-between the raging ocean, the swaying grain and the quiet woods. There was a small shed, where a small runt goblin was being born, since he was so small those delivering him thought that he would not live longer than a month. So because of that they abandoned him on the cold Werdenberg street to die. But there was someone going down the same street; a kind humble farmer leading his mare pulling a cartful of wheat and barley. When the farmer saw the helpless infant laying there half dead and hungry he took pity on that baby goblin and brought it to his wife to nurse back to health, on goat's milk. As the infant goblin grew to be a child of about six years he wasn't accepted into the community; since goblins and humans did not often get along Fraudu'lenti was seen as a bad omen or an evil spirit. But because of that his adopted parents sheltered him, encouraging him and pushing him to excel, in all of his endeavors. Fraudu'lenti started helping with the maintaining of his father's crops and animals at the age of eight and would clean the stalls of the mare and the chickens, as well as help seed and harvest. Though he was smaller and weaker than most he worked hard and diligently to the best of his abilities in what ever he was doing. In return for his work Fraudu'lenti's father would try to the best of his knowledge to school the young goblin by; teaching him how to read and write to some extent, teaching him to traditional goblin history such as the tales of Mogroka'Gorkill and Pok'Ugluk, as well as the family religion of Puritarianism. Then in his adolescents at the age of sixteen things changed, as they always do with time. His father was sleeping after a long day in the field while Fraudu'lenti and his mother were preparing dinner. His father expected to wake to the smell of cooked chicken drafting into his small room, but he didn't instead he woke to the rasp of a blade exiting its scabbard. A belligerent drunkard armed with an old scimitar stumbled through their doorway, demanding alcohol and minas. The drunk threatened to run them through if they didn't give him what he wanted. The father got up and attempted to reason with the intoxicated man saying things like: We don't drink we have no alcohol, We barely have enough money to survive will you really take that from us? and this is my family and you can't hurt my family. Then something odd happened, Fraudu'lenti saw to tip of a blade emerging from his father's back; then his father slumped over with his eyes fixed at a point on the ceiling, dead, and more importantly, murdered. Seeing her husband die right in front of her his mother promptly fainted, but in a fit of blinding rage Fraudu'lenti grabbed a kitchen knife ran up to the man who killed his father and slit his throat, sending his staggering backwords to the front step where he died. Afraid to own up to his mother when she woke, and also not wanting to face those who didn't like him in the first place who would surely use this against him if they knew, he ran away. He left only with the clothes on his back and that experience in his memory, he decided he should go to Petrus, since there are so many people there someone would help him in his time of need. but when he got there no one did, he begged and begged until he was tired of being denied. So since he could not find a single person willing to help him he resorted to thieving, pickpocketing and swindling to get money for food. While on the street he taught himself how to fight with a small hatchet that was easily concealed, but was weak when facing off against competitor rouges and renegades he often lost and was injured. On one specific incident he was attempting to pickpocket a man of his money purse, and ended up with a long jagged scar leading from his wrist to the bottom of his shoulder. After eight years of this field of work Fraudu'lenti was caught and exiled from Petrus under the title of "Common Thief" never to return. As he left he brought along one thing and one thing only, and that was guilt; the guilt of spending almost an entire decade taking advantage of people, and taking from then what was rightfully theirs. Fraudu'lenti spent the next to years going to every town, village and hamlet that would except him: doing odd jobs and working as a farm hand he was payed in food, but the story doesn't end there, it doesn't end at the last period since it could go on if you choose to let it and to let Fraudu'lenti make up his faults and achieve forgiveness from the people who hate him. It's your choice. Personality Traits: shy and reserved, paranoid that people would identify and judge him on his faults. Clever and witty; he is quite smart but doesn't get much chance to show it. Fraudu'lenti is a loyal friend, yet he often gets into fights and is quite irritating. Ambitions: Wants to do something great just because he doesn't want to bring the guilt of what he has done and where he has been to haunt him. He secretly wants to go back to a quiet life on the farm. Strengths/Talents: Has a knack with animals especially livestock, is clever and can make great plans on the spot. Fraudu'lenti is also quick, nimble and stealthy making him a hard target. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Paranoid that everyone he meets has something against him, weak small, and not great in hand to hand combat. To make it worse he gets into fights often. Apearence: He is 5 feet 4' and 102 pounds with a slender build (compared to other orcs) quite an overbite (which is common for orcs) has sky blue eyes and a green tint to his skin, wearing rags from villages he had been to. Has a long scar running up his arm from the wrist to the shoulder. This Is My Application :D Out of Game: Minecraft name: mackattack8284 Age: 14 years old Have you read the rules: Yes I have read the rules. Which rule do you agree with most: I agree most with the rule about "Moderator Shopping," since I own a server and know how annoying it is. Are you confused with a rule: No the rules are either straight-foreword or common sense. How did you find out about LoTC: I found out about LoTC by looking for a LoTR rp server after the one I was on shut down, and this server looked fun, so... ya. Definitions: Roleplaying: Roleplaying is where you pretend/act out that you are a different character than you really are usually used in games. Metagaming: Using past experience from a point in a game as an advantage Powergaming: Playing only for the end outcome and not for the game itself. In Game: My in game character is a male goblin born in Kalos named Fraudu'lenti he is 5 1/2 feet and 120 pounds. Biography: Fraudu'lenti was born in Kalos but rejected at birth he ended up spending his early life on the street begging, which led to swindling and thieving. He was exiled out of his home town as a general thief, he resented being nothing more than a scoundrel and trickster. He aspired to be something great whether it be a hero or a villain, whether it is to save the world or cast it into chaos. Appearance: File too big to post :P
